      Yes, I remember feeling this way too. I left home at 17. It was either that or keep getting abused at home. The people using these brothels with underage girls aren't just the elite. They are people you know. Even your relatives. Possibly even your spouse. People either refuse to believe it or deny that anyone they know couldn't possibly be this horrible. When the feds bust these rings it destroys businesses, careers and families. These rings make billions off of druggies, blue/white collar workers, city & county to state employees all the way up to the federal level. The police get the first heads up by the feds if they accidentally enter a brothel under surveillance for leisure. Call it professional courtesy. The world you live in is quite different as to what's actually going on. In my own city, the authorities are well aware of these places. As long as the payoff is on time, it's business as usual. Billions at stake at many levels. Good luck trying to rid your own town of it without suddenly disappearing.

I blame social media, it's giving these girls a false sense of confidence because there are so many predators online praising mediocrity and luring dumb and impressionable girls into BAD situations. A lot of young girls have no aspirations apart from becoming influencers or becoming instagram famous nowadays. Sad.

    I was lucky enough to be able to save a couple from human trafficking quite a few years ago. They had been flown from South Africa to Thailand and had been put into a hotel and told they would be going to Canada on a work visa. It didn’t add up to me, so I rang an anti-trafficking organization in Thailand and thank God for the man who answered me. He said, “They are about to be trafficked, him into slave labor and her into prostitution, tell them to leave the hotel immediately and tell absolutely no-one where they are going.’
    It was tough, because the couple didn’t want to believe that they weren’t going to Canada, but I was able to convince them and they left and went to another part of the city. It was a hard few months for them, but they eventually got asylum.

    All parents should monitor their children on all social media platforms. You should be a friend that they add or you follow them, then you can see what they are posting. Think selfies, and that is what your kids do and that is how they get noticed. That is how the predator finds them. All kids, teenagers think they can handle what is out there. Ha!

    • @charlotteice5704
      @charlotteice5704 5 лет назад +2

      Nope. As a security measure hits the market, a way to circumvent it does too. For us kids, the internet is a way to communicate and socialize without our parents which is important for the development. Building up trust so the child reports anything like hat to the parent is the best solution and there's no way to circumvent it.

There's a lot more to this story, but the point is, it doesn't matter what age the person is, gullible people will always be gullible.
