Sad to see gpo’s fall, it isn’t just the PvP that’s terrible but nearly every aspect of the game and phoeyu seems to have made his bread and kinda dipped with it. The game has changed a lot and not for the better. Hence why every gpo content creator got thanos snapped
If you become a bloxfruits yt you are more likely to get way more views than before. One of the gpo ogs known as winterklouds did the same and he went from a few 10ks to a million subs cus of bloxfruit content
I know atp you’re doing this out of passion and that’s really admirable What a fall from grace, and a lot of people thought update 4.5 (one of the worst updates in the games history) was going to kill the game even tho it averaged 4-6k regularly and 10k+ on the weekends and for some reason, it felt fun back then even though it was starting to die, still was temporarily brought back with the valentines update was was a fire dungeon If only this game was able to return to update 1-3.5 times where the builds weren’t this unfun to play with tons of combo extenders and rokushiki was fun and every dash has their own unique properties (e.g mobility with Soru, being able to block and dash with roll dashes)
I hate this update because bro the pvp right now is 3ss and mochi v2 and that sucks, i know that in the update 10 the meta was pika v2 but not everyone got that and was really common to see people with other builds but bro, right now we just see mochi spammers and 3ss users that does 68 per m1
I fought a kamishiki dude who was doing 173 per air slice kick thing. All his moves guard broke and he could combo extender over everything. Then I fought a horodude who did 40 per little horo ghost x 20 and had Garp’s fighting style. He had a 1000 damage combo. This game is cooked
This happend cuz yeah there is nearly no content like if they do a mega update adding more weapons or FS they are safe, like not 100% dead but it is just super boring. For me they need to be more freandly for the new players cuz, the first hours of your existence in gpo is going to trading hub to beg for fruit
I've got a question. I'm new to pvp and watching ur vids, i was thinking, is it worth to learn pvp rn? I enjoy pve a lot more and wanted to get in pvp, but now idk if its a good idea and should stick to pve?
Honestly no. Currently the pvp aspect of the game has become way to dependant on meta builds, to the point where If your new to pvp, the meta will force you to make a choice between just following/copying it, or to continue to get swallowed by it. If I was u, I'd honestly just stick to pve cuz driving your sanity to complete madness just to barely survive when fighting the meta isn't worth it 👍
ik this is late, but i am a gpo og and tbh if ur really into gpo pvp, ignore arena/ranked and go for comp/glads community since they did better job as balancing stuffs than phoeyu

the game looks good, the pvp system is solid, the amount of weapons, fruits etc. are pretty good but its just... everything is a pain to get or cost robux and/or theres major favouritism of certain fruits n shit so the meta is never actually pleasant... this just my 2 cents
Every fight I encountered the other day was just nothing but Mochi v2 users running and spamming abilities. First time in a long time I walked away from a pvp sesh absolutely hating the game lmao. 3ss has been fun, utilizing all forms of sword style is pretty engaging and there are a good amount of fruits that pair well with it but seeing a lack of creativity in any build atm is soul sucking 😞
Instead of nerfing everything to a point where everything is good under a line of "balanced" they just make everything broken and not fun to fight agaisn't, its not like its """unbalanced""" just unfun (the game is still 100% unbalanced and everything has to be changed lol)
