I do want to mention that I’m not a hater, I’m just disappointed. And there are a few things maybe over exaggerated because of frustration, but not much. I just want this game to start steering in a better direction, and the developer team to understand what an awesome game they have in front of them so they stop letting it waste away. I ALSO WANT TO ADD, DO NOT GO AFTER THE DEVS WITH HATE. There are a lot of us, and the last thing I want is to overwhelm the developers with hatred. They get quite enough complaints. I just want them to be aware.
tl;dr: I agree with everything you said in the video. I just want the developers to see the potential the players see. I can't even cover everything I wish was there. I feel like I'm seeing the game with rose tinted glasses when I look at all the stuff that's seemingly been forgotten or neglected and say "They can fix it, I have faith that such a good game can be fixed. There's so much they can do if they just pay attention." and now I feel let down after the recent stuff. It all looks and sounds cool, but ends up shallow in a game called *deep*woken. Even the QoL changes (gear cabinets, location markers, quests being in the UI instead of in a book or journal, skipping oath progression or quest talents) take the atmosphere of "fighting for what you get in an unforgiving world" away every week. No more exploration to find hidden areas inside hidden areas on new islands, no new interesting npc interactions, no real immersion anymore. I used to get attached to characters and now I think "oh well, new build and 2 hours wasted" when one dies. I just want the developers to see the potential the players see.

It's really sad to see that the game relies on new content instead of the core gameplay, like for rogue you'd never really see much updates because the player interaction kept it fresh.
Deepwoken needs an Operation Health right about now. The devs just need to... back up. Stop making new things, focus on what's currently broken, fix bugs, QoL things, etc. Even if it takes weeks, a month+ that's what's needed.

@@Goofaguyfrfrrag quit making deep cuz deep went far from what he had in mind when he made it, he wanted to focus more on the hardcore aspect while arch liked the build making part
In my opinion the problem with deepwoken is that they leaned way too heavily on the pvp aspect. If they focused on adventuring stuff like new islands, luminants, etc. (like layer 2, that by itself is peak deepwoken design), the game would be so much more fun and have more stuff to do, more of a world to build lore on. Whether it’s because of laziness or not, they focused on pvp, constantly creating new flashy legendary weapons and making endless amounts of worthless balance changes every single update.
If they create features like Layer 2, people will try it, enjoy it for a while, and then get bored after about two weeks, just like with the world events. This would ultimately lead to the game's decline because players will have already experienced the 'adventure game' aspect. Therefore, it would be more worthwhile for them to focus on PvP.
As a guy who came from rogue and have been with deep since literally minute one, i miss how deepwoken used to feel both grounded and hardcore. Now it feels like the only challenge comes from fighting players who are equally or better than you and the monsters feel like roadblocks, not enemies
Dude i personally suck at the game, if they add hard ass shit to play im gonna be locked from it because i will have to grind an entire build to fight a boss once and lose, with rogue you have 3 chances and you can just pop a pd, deepwoken is still hard
@@Goofyahhlofi just because you're bad doesn't mean the game should be balanced around your skill level; it's possible for you to get better, but good players can't necessarily 'get worse' unless they handicap themselves or stop playing for a while
I never really experienced the "prime" Deepwoken era that so many frequent Verse One players talk about. I bought the game during Verse One, but only really took interest after the Verse Two update, I think I noticed the influx in players and decided to take a second look? I can't recall. I played the crap out of the game, have put in hundreds of hours across many slots, made my way through virtually all the content the game had to offer, so when world events released after an absurdly long content drought it piqued my interest, only to lose it almost immediately. I'm likely the minority with this, but as someone who plays solo, an update like world events literally does nothing for me, and the same with conquest. I could never commit myself to devoting time with other players, rather than just playing the game when I felt like it. I generally hyperfixate on a game then switch to a different one, which makes playing with other people very difficult. I find the pvp interesting enough, but it is perpetually missing something that I feel was probably lost in the change from Verse One to Verse Two. My only experience of a combat system akin to Verse One Deepwoken is from Fakewoken, and a version which had old flourishing and a less punishing parry cooldown. Despite the game's significantly lower objective quality, I found that at a fundamental level, I had much more enjoyment with its pvp system, rather than actual Deepwoken's. Every once in a while I get a glimpse of what I feel the game could be. Traveling alone means I pretty frequently run into some interesting players, and it's in the times where I decide to simply run around the map rather than optimizing progression that I find the most enjoyment. For me, finding a random player and striking up a conversation has infinitely more value than choosing Voidwalker and hunting someone down, which just feels dull. I haven't logged on frequently since world events released, and not at all since the most recent weekly. I was considering starting a new build, but wanted to grab echoes for the new upgrades, and proceeded to get curb stomped by the golem in trial of one because it practically attached to my body and made its animations unreadable thanks to the janky camera angle (well done developers, you first made it jump like it's on a pogo stick now it glues itself to my forehead). Commence the list of grievances: -Constant performance issues I don't see in any other Roblox games or games in general (ping freeze) -Dull, repetitive progression -Lack of endgame content -Nothing new to explore (the game has lost the scale it once possessed when I was a new player, and it's never recaptured it) -Irritating enemy design (world serpent one shot, seriously?) -Useless updates (if it ain't broke don't fix it, looking at you running animation) Above all else: I love roguelikes, but I can't help but wonder at this point, is this game REALLY a roguelike? There are meta upgrades sure, but the ability to pass down equipment doesn't make your new life more powerful, it just allows you to maintain the gear you got from farming previously. At this point, builds do not wipe. Once a build is created, it either serves its purpose by farming resources, or is just a tool to use to fight in chime, effectively turning the game into a battlegrounds. When I started, I found the cards system super interesting, until it became clear that it is effectively just an interesting way to portray acquiring talents, when there isn't really any randomness involved. At this point, every player knows how to make an optimized build, and it is just a matter of putting in the time to create it. A "most effective build" that can be repeatedly achieved has no place in a roguelike. Although some talents may be consistent, the fact that Deepwoken, as a roguelike, maintains a singular general statline that is optimal is absurd. Looking at a game like Slay the Spire (a roguelike, but ACTUALLY, not one for the sake of deleting player progress in order to maintain playtime), it's clear that it's practically useless to create the same build over and over, and much more enjoyable to simply roll with what you have, and make do.
The roguelike label is something that always bothered me, since neither rogue or deepwoken have anything of roguelike aside the fact that you wipe, it's just a permadeath rpg, I found it cool that they at least tried a little with the echoes update, but it isn't really that meaningful aside of very minor QoL, but you can't really blame them, knowing that the game's all about pvp nowadays, so they can't really be interesting with the upgrades..
putting the entire blame on arch would be unfair since ragoozer and other devs left him as basically sole lead dev, anyways leaving that aside i already predicted the downfall of the game as soon as it was starting to become sandbox like, wiping wasn't really a problem, enchants were made easy to obtain and became a shallow power up, you don't really fear the depths anymore, you only fear it when you see 5 power rangers with anime mc weapons coming your way, the days where the depths were a hopeless wasteland are long gone, the days where owls were a player's biggest fear are not coming back, the once grounded pvp of deepwoken is now a fool's gold PUTTING ALL OF THAT ASIDE what was the last time that feinting mid pvp was actually useful?

Honestly my brain is not working right now so I'll like send longer message? huh... actually idk man, anyways take the free money for saying something that proves that you care about the game more than the devs. I mean I guess if you want an example of me being vocal, I posted a whole long comment on the latest video of that newbie youtuber called fox unorthodox
- Million ton piercer was broken for *6 MONTHS* - Yayafino (one of the developers) when asked how Ironsing had a teleport move (Metal Fakeout) said “metallic relocation”. It also doesn’t function as a “fake out” in the slightest. - Nepotistic moderation team - Broken weapons - Lack of soul Deepwoken does not have a good track record and it seems like when Ragoozer said “make games you want to play” he meant *engagement farming* and not making actual good games.
Thats because the diddy ass modteam will make up fake evidence about you so they can drag your name through the mud and ban you. That being said it dont make it right to be fake and watch it all happen
Agamatsu is like a big part of Deepwoken's PR, hes like Deepwoken's billboard so he won't highlight the slop, Punchee is apart of the mod team so I highly doubt him yapping about problems would keep him on the team.
PLEASE make the video you were talking about at the end on the many bugs of Deepwoken. I would really enjoy having the confirmation that another human had the attention to detail to notice and catalog all of the minor bugs in this game that have been broken since verse one man. They have irked me for sooooo long 😭😭😭😭
1:23 The reason the Sand Knight animations were changed is because they were able to be reasonably read while still requiring you to act fast or memorize their patterns which led to a fun (enough) to fight enemy. This goes against Monad Studio's design philosophy as everything is meant to be unfun to go against. Hope this helps!

as someone who has direct contact with devs, a TON of useful stuff gets pushed to them even by myself, it's just so much workload and sometimes it's not even added. not only that but it's not really in the hands of the people who try to push shit to them to get them to stop pushing random stuff to the game. there's only dedication by a couple devs really, arch is really into it, the rest just don't wanna work on this game. rag (who was the only person actually playing his game) has basically moved to the side management of deepwoken's stuff from what i can tell due to the other devs basically saying "the players don't want this and that it's too tough" and he had enough of it and made cursed gear. i don't blame him atp.
It's sad to see that only (few) one dev really feels passion for the project, that's why they gotta re-organize the dev team, I noticed that when Arch said that he did the latest lagwoken patch solo, I knew it was dire
That's interesting. I mean honestly the more I hear from people the more I come to realize that the developers are not cut out to handle this size of a game. Yeah you can make all the excuses you want, but their team is big enough, and they have the time. I don't want to make them feel like trash, but I do think they need to slow down and do what they CAN, instead of pushing an amount of content that they can't even control. I've heard that Arch has said that if they did anything more than weeklies the devs would procrastinate and do it all in a short bit. That shows me there's bad management, bad dev team structure, and also a complete lack of passion.
determi PLEASE tell the devs to fix the animation blending 😭 im not an experienced dev myself but im pretty sure if they just add a boolean type attribute to the workspace named RbxLegacyAnimationBlending and make it active it'd fix all the animation blending
The fact this essentially ground breaking game for Roblox relies on the care of people who couldn't really care less about it is absolutely mind boggling. Preach about it being a ton to handle or an insane workload, but if people that couldn't care if the game was living or dying beyond if they're gonna make money or not can squeak out weekly, admittedly pretty sick updates sometimes, then I know for a fact that if everyone in the team they have started getting off of their asses and doing things, it would be astoundingly easier. Honestly cut the cancerous growths off and get people in that actually give a flying crap.
Starting at 5:54 the point you made about what beginner devs would do...I am a beginner dev, a creative lead and animator, not a scripter or builder, and even *I* had the idea of making an undercover account and play with strangers to get the full player experience ALSO, as an edit, I'd like to mention in the Ragoozer section that he's not working on Deep because he's working on another game Hopefully he finishes this one lmao
Same goes for ethirons bone wave ; I haven’t played in a while so maybe it has been patched but I really doubt it , builds can easily wipe due it being invisible because it seems like you’re being hit by absolutely nothing. They could at the very least disable the attack until they patch the vfx for it
Absolutely this. I used to be a major Rogue Lineage/Deepwoken fan before Pilgrammed came out, but since I stopped playing I've grown frustrated with how it's deteriorated over the years. I think most people who saw the first direct agrees that the version portrayed is a far cry from how the game is now. There's no passion anymore. From when Layer 2 dropped, I started to see the cracks in the game's vision. I do think my main grievances were just personal preference, but the push for uppercuts, bursts, etc. just felt like they were trying to shoehorn Guilty Gear mechanics into their game. It was probably the first sign the game was shifting from a RPG to a fighting game with grind and RNG. In fact, seeing all the weird ANIME GFX PACK #12 effects for every other attack or action should've been a warning sign already. New content is shallow. New weapons or content is often just blatant rips from anime or media, and even when it isn't, it's still alienating from the rest of the game; barely connected together by random, last minute lore descriptions so it isn't JUST something to bolster a weekly update. And they almost always have some crazy element about them which gives their RUclipsrs content to farm money from: they're unbalanced, or they have some new color of the rainbow for fire/the other elements, or it has 17 different conditional heavies, it's all just over-saturated. In fact, I'm pretty sure 80% of the decisions they make is motivated to appeal to their close ring of RUclipsrs or other bootlickers. Remember when many people genuinely believed the fake Ragoozer account on Agamatsu's stream when he said that there would be the "Blue Eyes" (a blatant reference to JJK) and whatever? The fact that someone can easily think that devs WOULD just add whatever media reference they like is a telling sign of how uninspired the game has come to be. Rogue Lineage was similarly uninspired, but at least they TRIED to make the references their own. And from the initial footage of Deepwoken, it seemed like Deepwoken would be a fresh new take with Rogue Lineage's aesthetic, though with much more originality - which many AND ME were excited for. Turns out, they chose the easy path with their game. Now they have Battle Royale, now you can fight the Bootlicker of Kyrstuckra which drops the Hornpick's Vale with an explanation just adequate to make it fit in the world - it's still a reference to another game, but at least it's a little different! I genuinely don't see why they do this. It isn't fun, for anyone, and whenever you DO call it out, it's always "so you don't want content? you don't want cool things?" I think people have gotten so accustomed to being farmed for cash that they don't even realize the shit they're playing. I don't even think the devs know what they're making anymore. Is it a difficult game? I think adding SEVERAL ways to completely ignore the base progression isn't that hard. Is it a RPG? Do you call something like this a RPG? Weekly updates are definitely not for them, or the playerbase either. The only way they can salvage this game without letting it divulge into a battlegrounds game with unlocks, is to back up and remove all of the random shit they added to appease their fanbase. When will this game have respect for itself, its art style, or for the people that made it?
Hi deinbag!!! the deepwoken devs lost inspiration to be honest and rag basicially got told the game was too hard so he lost intrest even though he liked the permadeath aspect, thats why cursed gear is being made, to add a difficulty that appeals to players like that. and archmage is half making the game solo at this point because the other devs can choose to not even work on it weekly (they mostly do) I hate to see a game i brought when it first came out die but here we are.
I agree with the anime references part at first there were spinx bell, kamui, and I was kinda fine with it but just started getting more references like its an anime game or shindo life
Hell even the Construct from RL was copied 1:1 from PGR. From the pod, the name (Construct is exactly as PGR.), the concept (a human being changed into a 100% robotic body through a risky procedure that involves a pod, often resulting in death) etc. When you look at this game in the abstract sense, it appears original and incredibly thought out and cool. But the moment you have any kind of media literacy you see this game is just derivative in every sense. Imo a lack of originality is one of the first signs a game isn't meant to stay.
Climbing in particular is a good example of the developers not playing their own game, it has so many issues in so many areas that happen every single time, it would easily be noticed by devs if they did just 1 or 2 playthroughs. The amount of times my character has gotten stuck climbing up the hole after grabbing the blue spear in l2 is just dumb and god forbid you try and climb ANYTHING on the parkour section with the falling platforms, you will get stuck on the slanted, weird topology of the rocks and fall to your death. The whole run up to chaser in general is really boring and feels like it's there to waste your time, like the bounder nest.
I was here for lore , world building and exploration. Now we have pvp slop... As a fan of Made in Abyss I was charmed by layers concept but...after layer 2 we wont get other ones prob. As for difficulty its sad that they wont add more hard stuff for "solo" .
Add me to this list. I thought Deep had an incredibly interesting world and aesthetic, which served as my main motivation for playing the game. Sad to see the devs move away from the interesting world, lore, and exploration.
Wtih the new potential ignition boss I can confirm they do but only for logging in. They don't play deepwoken or they would've improved the ignition union origin
@@bobthegreattestcharriot is kinda goated for deepbound prog, no one goes there, you can use a faster l2 route, and you have acess to jobs, wich you can easily farm legendaries like hailbreaker, and the thunder hammer
Honestly i think the game's focus on these weapons and mantras has made the game considerably worse I can't leave the game for a month without getting assblasted by some new mantra or oath or weapon which i have no ideas what it does. Everything feels so like artificial now the game felt whimsical on its release and i felt the same way trying to figure out layer 2 solo (until they made a 20 minute cooldown on light hook) and not the mention the effort it takes to make an actually good build, like hopping on and either having to look at every talent in the game and see how to optimise your build path and obtain every talent you want or just watch a youtube video where every build is hidden in their god damn discord server makes me want to blow my brains out. The game was much simpler and more mysterious in its beginning which was a lot of the fun. I think creating new areas and exploration and keeping the combat relatively the same helps players who dont no life it 24/7 actually enjoy it and take breaks and come back and i think a focus on actually QUALITY updates vs the slop weeklies would've been a much preferred addition in hindsight, but with where the games going now I feel like it'll continue this way until the devs abandon it and continue onto a new project.
Unironically the game feels like yandere sim, because of the weekly updates they just keep adding new legendary weapons or just random things that pop up into their head instead of focusing on polishing and taking their time. As someone who: plays the game -> stops -> comes back 4 months later, it's cool to see new things/bosses/areas but im so sorry for the consistent players. The game is missing so many fundamentals and even small things such as an early game boss but instead its just lacking in execution. The bugs that you mentioned I noticed immediately after coming back to the game from a while and if I can notice them, how did the devs not? I loved the game but once updates were focused on a new specific requirement legendary weapon each week, I feel like it's lost it's purpose and have stopped playing consistently. Deepwoken's biggest problem is the weekly updates, I truly think that so much can be done in the game :(
Thank you for making this video. The devs have undoubtably lost the plot, and here are MY own complaints; - Diluvian Mechanism remains unfinished nearly a year later, remember when they said it would get unique mob statuses and more unique rewards? None of those are in sight - Ignition Delver origin also remains unfinished 5 months after release, in fact it hasn't been touched once post-launch day. Easily the worst origin to go for - Conquest was told to be a League of Legends copy, which I had my doubts on. Imagine my shock when Agamatsu basically did a Conquest showcase and turns out it IS a 1:1 League of Legends. Now imagine what we could have gotten if the devs had been working on Central Luminant or Layer 3 instead of this gamemode that they've been trying to make work for the past year. The concept clearly doesn't work, and I think Conquest should be scrapped and reworked into a World Event for the Central Luminant. I think everyone in the community would have much preferred the devs to sink their time into literally ANYTHING else other than that gamemode which no one would be playing a month after release. - The Dev team is DIABOLICALLY unorganized. I get that they're trying to keep it a friendly enviroment by keeping it a friend group but it is worse for the game in general. No other dev tries to touch a piece of content that a different dev has made (ex. Fino refusing to nerf the World Serpent spamming it's one-shot attack while the whole community complains about it or Fino hiding the Pyre Keeper from testers). - Some in-game factions have yet to receive a singular piece of content post-launch. (Legion💀) No, the weapons don't count. - Instead of fixing the Voidheart's noclipping they outright REMOVED 75% of the area itself (???) - The Gear Cabinets have killed the atmosphere for all islands. Getting to a new island and being forced to explore to find the training gear was an engaging and fun experience, but that has been replaced with extremely out-of-place Gear Cabinets which just kills the whole atmopshere and that thing should just be removed in it's entirety. For example the entire Mantra Shop in Etris has been rendered useless because all the Attunement training items have been moved to those boring old Gear Cabinets - The Devs making changes no one asked for. You've already talked about the Sand Knight and running animation changes, but other things like the Visionshaper rework (rather the outright removal of Illusory Realm), the Depths-voiding threshold being massively decreased, and much more that I cant list because of YT comment limitations - The Addition of Legendary Weapon slop, while the Fan Artist contests produced much cooler concepts that everybody would have preferred to be added rather than something like Hailbreaker. This reminds that Rag said that he would add some of the Fan Artist contest weapons anyway but those are literally nowhere to be seen - Hive Origin is seemingly gonna have something to do with FARMING ??? not sure how they're gonna manage to make that fun and engaging - A general lack of PvE additions to the game. The only real PvE things that got added post-Verse 2 have been World Serpent, Mudskipper Brute and Maestro (Parasol can hardly be considered a fight). I think the whole community, once again would have much preferred the effort gone into the Legendary Weapon slop to have gone to making a new boss or new mobs. There is much more that should be adressed, but I'll leave it there for now. Thank you for reading Deepwoken rant #879.
this phrase makes me so mad because its so ignorant, how is literal game development and wanting to play a certain style of game in your free time AT ALL related?

used to get hate when i'd say that they would end up killing their game if they kept it the way it was going. weeklys are ruining the game. i miss drowned gods
This is so true though, what really resonated with me was the vision part. I really don't see an end to this game as of now because I'm just making builds and doing chime but theres literally no end to it. Even if I do hit godseeker what will I even have after. The lack of endgame content really feels bad as after you grab your bell or murmur all you do is either let your build rot in your slots or just straight up rinse and repeat what you've done over 50 times already. Also at the start of deepwoken, I was inspired by these content creators who would show how deepwoken was at the start. Tankfish especially got me into the game because I wanted to try a "roguelike" but now all I see in deepwoken is a level up get talents battleground game. The card system was cool but it ended up being a letdown as you're not really choosing randomely but instead just plugging in points and choosing talents thats it. I would probably rather play fakewoken because it feels more passionate than the **ORIGINAL** game which its literally based on. After every island has been discovered and every boss has been fought, what is at the end? Do I just quit and be happy after I've beat ethiron? But no, you keep expecting more out of the game as the game quite literally references that theres WAY more layers in deepwoken rather than the three concurrent. I would've figured by now that 6 layers would be out but they just keep building on slop on slop. Its like making a sandwich only to put greasy meat as the bottom, middle and top. A good sandwich would have its nutrition and health but deepwoken clearly isn't healthy as it just can't seem to deliver. These weapons are nice and all but wdym I literally have a revolver with a switch on it?? Also ironsing shouldve been fleshed out more as its the SAME SAME mantras being used EVERY time with the only alternatives being piss yellow variants that shoot swords. What happened to the roguelike that had me literally holding out the main menu button every second in the depths just because I was so frightened to die? I might myself just hit the menu button at this point and leave the game for good because it literally won't appeal to me anymore as a "roguelike". Its funny how people make jokes about bosses being melted by a single tornado but it is sadly true. Now answer me this, how does a SMALL tonardo of wind even do that much damage? That doesn't even make sense. Pve isn't even good anymore as its just straight mantra spam or modifier stacking. PVP in general is miserable as if you don't make a "meta build" everyone else will out perform you. That shouldn't be the case as build diversity quickly became a thing of myth. Lastly, why is there some kind of relic and legendary every week which has people scrambling to find it? Rather than weapons, I'd want new islands which contain lore or some kind of quest as quests are completely irrelevant to the story and the gameplay. Thats it for my ramble but deepwoken really needs to take a step back and produce **quality** updates rather than the same old mumbo jumbo every week. (Btw I bought the game in V1 but I played early v2).
it really clicked with me when i read another comment that described builds as being tools now, rather than characters of their own they all have a presdestined purpose, and are molded to be 100% efficient at doing said task, only to be discarded when you've obtained whatever it is you want i miss spending time thinking of names for my slots, miss the time when i could remember a character's name years after it wipes because of it's uniqueness
Yeah that’s super true. Your character is not even special or unique anymore. If you don’t make the PERFECT build with all the preset talents you picked out or someone else did, your build wont be as good as everyone else. I miss feeling like my character was something.
Silentheart's unmatched dexterity was broken for THREE. WEEKS. It broke countless builds for basically a month. There were two bug reports about it that was getting bumped in the discord every HOUR. And coincidentally only when it was patched (not even intentional, a weapon change accidentally fixed it) Archmage responds with "Cool" when it was mentioned that it was fixed. They are ghosting us, its not even like they dont know about it.

I was playing earlier today and the bug is back again 😐, also side rant while I was playing I discovered a new game breaking bug almost every 20 mins either that be parasol just straight up not de-spawning like wtf???? @@tomato325no this aint it they don’t care about us at all man. They focus on people ganking you like this game isn’t a RPG it’s a fucking war field like for almost all of damn pve build you need something coming from a zone that erase your character if you die and also is filled with teamers that love to kill you for the sake of it.
Thanks for saying what all of us think ngl this game is turning bad, it's been 2 years till they promised worlds events and they drop this ? They absolutely disrespect the players that waited for it.
1:50 same thing with the bone keeper attack where he stomps and the bones come out of the ground, the bones have been invisible for like the past month
I've been seeing a lot more youtubers talk about the issues with the game, and that brings me so much joy. I'm hoping people will start realizing how poor the devs handle their game, and stop playing until the devs actually fix it, feeding them premium payouts and making constant content on the game doesn't give them any incentive to handle their game better.
speaking of ragoozer, literally the last time ive ever seen this man on this game was around june 2024, and it was 2 battle royale matches. He doesn't play his own game anymore, and it's quite easy to see that considering he played 2 matches of a pretty much abandoned gamemode and then hopped off
12:03 some youtubers tried to make it seem as if I was going crazy whenever I would mention the horrible direction this game was going. now look where we are 😭I am never coming back to this game
It's amazing that you actually almost summed everything up about Deep woken that doesn't work or sucks, you can really feel the heart of a deep woken player behind this vide!!! Another thing I would add though is the game it self split apart in PvE and PvP. I've seen lately that a lot of people just like deepwoken because they can explore a lot of things with there friends or fight bosses together And then you have " let's release broken new mantras and weapons " It wipes everybody who doesn't play deepwoken for it's PvP content.
hey quack. i just wanted to quickly say, the red icon you mentioned for the crab means 'unparryable', not a symbol for you to dodge it. Some unparryable attacks can be blocked, too
Deepwoken is the only game ive played that makes you feel no excitement after getting something rare or "legendary" the weekly updates literally killed the value of each legendary weapon or item in the game
Nah there is heart. Unpolished, but the update was epic. I like seeing big giant snake swim around etrean sea. I would prefer if they focused some more on polishing over adding new things, though.
They js fixed the crustaceous rex in this update so I assume the devs watched this video since I haven't seen a lot of ppl complain abt the crab being broken but they still have a lot of work to do regarding bugs
Ayo I hear that Mischievous Alchemy in the background. I've never played Kingdom Two Crowns but goddamn its soundtrack is heavenly. Regarding the game, I feel that this has been a long time coming. Deepwoken has been headed in this direction since day one. It's just how Monad Studios is. I was so excited for this game before release, in fact I was too excited for it. I was going through some crazy mental health issues at the time and in my stupor I decided to make a ROBLOX GAME my main reason for being alive. It was not the wisest of decisions. At the end of the day, it helped me get through it all, but when the game came out-and wasn't what we thought it'd be-god I was devastated. Pre-release the developers spoke with such conviction, such dedication. You could feel the passion in the teasers and the leaks, you could see it reflected in the world. But then, at some point, that direction shifted. Maybe they decided that whatever they had in mind wasn't sustainable. Maybe they just got lazy. Or maybe it was something else entirely. People talk about pre-release Deepwoken like it was better than what we have now. I know it wasn't. I know it was bare bones and severely lacking in every department. But it isn't pre-release Deepwoken I mourn, its the game it had the potential to be.
I agree with the take of stopping weekly updates, I was telling my friends about this, since the dev team is probably dwindling and highly unorganized they can’t make quality updates, they just add a legendary weapon and call it a day without thinking about the game or its lore. If they took a little time the game could be SOOOO much better if they gave thought to what they were making.
@ With the funding Deepwoken has it would not be hard to hire devs. If you look at their credits page there is alot of people on there already, the issue is they hired anime slop game devs as their content developers so Rag's vision for the game (which was very cool to start with) has been slowly destroyed to the point where he no longer wants to work on the game or manage it.
another thing worth mentioning is not just released things that are unfinished, but also unfinished things that have had no work on. When was it they teased a lionfish rework? didnt aga also say in his latest stream about conquest that they really only started developing it at like late 2023???
- kaido is a mess along w/some other bosses - i remember on release there was a huge issue with floating fruit or collectibles around the map & this bug had lasted for atleast a year, again i guess no testers complained about it & no devs played?? or they legit just didn't know how to fix it lol - it seems like they've lost their passion for the game, as far as ik Arch & Rag are working on a new CC game - slop quantity > quality - everything feels mushy, enchants don't feel special anymore, i suppose the same goes w/relics & legendaries - PVE has gotten just as a weird feeling i can't name, bugs aside just normal monster PVE progression stacking DVM & using your evanspear, not like darksouls, not like WoW, not like a wave killing game so it's just some weird hybrid of it all it really hurts to see the game deteriorate. i've been a fan of archmage for up to 7 years now since i was very into tales from the valley, i think the formula for games like that & rogue can be very satisfying & addicting but i just don't know what deepwoken is going for anymore
although i'm not surprised lol, this is the arch & rag developer pipeline, honestly just waiting for a new game of theirs to come out so the cycle can repeat itself
If they keep ignoring the problems of deep and keep adding leg weapons each week, im afraid deep will really die and everyone will go bac to rogue, rogue died because deep released to start with, rogue has no frequent updates yet got a loyal and constant playerbase.
@ just give up so you dont have to regret anymore wasted time or money. Ive played this song and dance ten times and it ALWAYS ends the same way. It’s a slow and painful death that only ends with a painful backstabbing betrayal. Cant let go? Let me tell you this, this game died the minute dawnwalker was added and right now is its slowly rotting corpse. Swallow your pride and go work for some cash, buy elden ring it wont be just the same in about 3 ways but I swear to you everything else is better. Flipping patties for a couple days to move on and never look back is worth it. Trust me I know. Im feeling generous so i’ll list examples of what I said happened. Word. For. Word. Destiny 2, overwatch, titanfall (good game shit devs who abandoned it), apex legends, rogue lineage, your bizzare adventure, a universal time, and probably 800 other times I can’t remember. Trust me, MOVE ON.
i hope so much the devs will see this. like please update the game every 2 weeks. it felt so great when they did the thing to world event (even tho it was/is buggy but it felt good having a bit more content in one update even if the wait was longer)
I absolutely agree with having just a patch weekly. The game has so many urgent bugs right now that so much of the “new content” is unplayable. Slap in some easy balance changes to give players an extra something to check out, but actual content should be reserved for a new bi-weekly system.
next agamatsu live he gonna react to this video then he gonna shake his head for a few minutes, dismiss it then go back to covering the new fang and coil fist style!!
I never played during deepwokens “testing” stages but man the game that WE ALL SAW during infernasus directs and Nanos fighting video was what made me think I would absolutely play this game for 4+ years, it looked like a adventure game with well made mechanics and nothing crazy like what we have today. Truly sad that deepwoken went down this direction of a sandbox mess instead of what potentially could have been the best hardcore game on roblox 😢
I never got the same rush I did on rogue when ganking or even just traversing the world, I thought I was going to be scared shitless in deepwoke while just exploring because it was the hardcore game I imagined, I thought I was going to have to prepare to some extent to travel islands, I wanted some cool core gameplay mechanics instead of just whatever excessive handholding they gave us
quite frankly, the game needs to be shined and polished in its current state. we don't need conquest, we dont need a saramaed boss, we dont need hive origin (i REALLY want it though), we need the content that the game has currently to not all be half baked. it feels like i'm testing the game with the amount of bugs and unfished shenanigans i encounter.
these things definitely need to be called out more. devs should be aiming for higher standards and substantial content instead of creating more slop and problems with every weekly update, we can only hope though
Man i hope they actually start making better updates, ik that im an freshie since i started in october last year so im not one to speak but the game just feels unique and really fun to me
The way i believe it works is that every time the move is used by a crab the particles are called to load in and despawn after a set time, but the longer the server has been active the shorter the duration of the bubles become, sort of how like certain effects like golden tongue or reinforce used to expire earlier in day old servers. My theory is that, because the particles are loaded in for so little time, this sort of time escalation or whatever we're supposed to call it causes it to despawn the particles the moment they spawn.
the game was on of the best games on deepwoken and would take days too weeks to hit pwr 20 now i can do it in 40 minutes. they promised so so much and i understand alot can change but the game is legit as chaotic as jail break if not more chaotic, the lore doesnt make sense anymore (even tho most dont care about that) i miss when each update was exciting and now all i see is a new oath thats hella broken, a new legendary, more bosses, more content ect, but never any bug changes besides ones that were added like 2-4 months AGO. tho not only that i miss when people were actually scared to wipe and fight something new, but now people look at something new and are like oh well if i wipe i can just remake my exact build and itll only take 40mins - 1 hour, people used to crave deepwoken and now it feels like wasted memories in my opinion. I miss the old game.
I remember some time after l2 there was a period when you could see a dev in chime pretty often (I think it was ragoozer?), after that we had a lot of really good balance updates, we need more of that
world serpent suprisingly ISNT broken, his only issue is that after he blasts up after a dive he doesnt land in the correct spot visually, but when he resurfaces hes in the right spot hes easily the best world event, give him a shot
As a verse one player, I have an absolute crapload of stuff to say and more than a couple bones to pick with the devs. First off, PVE is trivialized by PVE builds and also the fact that most monsters and endgame PVE just ends up being ‘mash all your keys and hope your enemy breaks before your keyboard does.’ And then there’s something like enmity, a boss that does a whole lot of damage and is difficult for anyone to fight without specific builds. Yeah, there are people skilled enough to fight it solo or on any build, but that’s a small minority. Second, PVP. Oh boy, the PVP. Damage is still ridiculous, some moves have lingering hitboxes and phantom range, aka having range longer than the weapon’s model. Imperators or Eye of malice is a good example. Imperators has a 180 half circle M1 range in front of it, which I’ve tested and find as ridiculous. Additionally, some builds just do an ungodly amount of damage and I feel like resistances don’t even matter. Another complaint is some attunements just being ridiculous. An example is shadowcast, which people may say that I suck or that it’s a skill issue, but genuinely, why does an attunement based off stealing ether do such ridiculous damage? In the wiki it literally says ‘weaker damage in exchange for ether drain.’ Third, animations, bug fixes, and the weeklies. First off, the hell did they do to our running animation? Whenever I’m holding a sword and sprinting, it deadass looks like I’m playing with a joystick. Animations outside of this are also wack, such as racer kick or leap, dropkick is weirdly done, and then there’s sometimes desync in crit animations. Bug fixes, these shouldn’t need to be part of weekly updates and should be something they fix regularly, maybe twice a week in the form of a hotfix. If they paid attention to their community or played their game, many bugs would be fixed. Weeklies, oh boy. I understand developing takes a long time and I’ve seen devs working in Roblox studio tearing their hairs out over how buggy it is. However, what I don’t excuse is not being able to meet a deadline because they’re trying too much all at once. Take it slow, add one or two meaningful content drops, or alternatively focus it into a biweekly basis and produce better quality. Brainstorm new mantras that aren’t ripped off anime’s of shows. Fourth, the scrapped content/content drought we’re experiencing. They can easily create a new island and events along with it if they put their focus into it. The devs don’t realize that as players, we want to experience something new once in a while, whether it be new enemies, game mechanic, or islands even. An example can be the scrapped islands in pre release as well as mobs that were scrapped. Fifth, weapons, armor, the community, and etc. Listen to the community, listen to their suggestions, implement their ideas like the funny banner support weapon, or even some custom made designs. People have so much passion for this game and make content that devs can take inspiration from, or directly hire these fans to help them. The community has so much content to share with the devs and fans of the game. That’s mostly all my complaints, I could rant on and on but I don’t want to bore people who read this. Since people aren’t going to read all of this, I’ll sum it up in a single sentence. TL;DR: listen to your community and be more hands on with the people who play your damn game.
u mentioned shadowcast doing absurd damage and draining ether & i agree dude i didnt even think about it like that shadow SHOULD be doing pisspoor damage. I've seen this yter named keito take 10% from A HUGE SHADOW GUN when he had 563 HP. Like bro what am i looking at?
@@ilyxdexter the main issue is that shadowcasts’ talents literally give all the damage back that it shouldn’t normally have, plus y’know, the devs themselves not knowing proper balancing
I'm one of the very few people who like the new running animation (The default one not the bugged ones with the weapons out), it's definitely a lot more lively compared to the blocky roblox type run it was before
I personally think they should add verse 1 deepwoken as its own game. paid access or not, i bet so SO many deepwoken players would go back to it for the nostalgia, the difficulty, and because current deepwoken SUCKS
We need to have items that actually are rare, and that the rarity wont change for a very long time, or atleast have the game acknowledge that the item was obtained when it was like the rarest thing in the world and give you like something special that cant be gotten anymore. I also feel we need to have an oath that has a out of the box, difficult, and also secretive progression/obtainment that way it takes long to figure out, and if it does, not just anyone can get it yk. Also, not telling the community or not allowing the testers to leak the oath would also give the feel of finding it yourself incredible and even keeping it a secret to flex would be cool cuz you get to experiment with the secret and even post a vid abt it, but not everyone would get or have it because the obtainment and progression is difficult and tedious.
- weird bugs everywhere, hardly polished at all - unbalanced - nothing fun to do - all the devs have abandoned it excluding 1 for cursed gear *oh my god its rogue lineage all over again* for you new guys basically rogue lineage was arch/rag's (mainly rags) first (and previous) proper game it became a buggy mess, (khei) was unbalanced, (khei) and it got dry and boring then the devs said "oh were making deepwoken" and "we'll still update rogue" give em a few months and, uh oh, they all left for deepwoken except 1 person (grimmkind the goat)
Shadow OP, lets you apply like 5 effects with one mantra while doing 20% like bro. Gale, Every Gale Mantra can somehow do 10% Hp to a build with over 500, HOW? Bloodrend feels like a different game entirely. Give me 3 weeklys fixing all the bugs then 3 weeklys fixing the unbalanced mantras/weapons. no content for 6 weeks is not that bad THEN add new stuff
@@goinforaschwim2119 that aint an issue compared to powercreeping your “hardcore” game that the new shit just bypasses the ONLY defensive systems in the games. I love that there is an opposite to this spectrum, for example fantastic frontier. That game has been cooking for 5 years with an end of the year dev update and honestly I can't wait for it to be out because the devs have promised us a lot of content and updating existing stuff
The developers have played the game but the thing is that they dont play it as a regular player. They play it with dev specs and everything given to them. I fought a developer and got two tapped by this huge spear with dagger swing speed.
I agree with literally all of this, it feels like they don’t even take a second glance after they add something, and I missed more of that hardcore aspect, everything is kind of just “progress as quickly as possible to make a build!!!”. Literally no vision, just adding things that are just sort of cool sidethoughts.
The charm and endless build possibilities brought me to this game. I had quit for a while and came back a while after verse 2 and around the start of the endless slop content and stuff... it really hurts to watch everything go down like this
Have you seen the moon Knight recently? Me and my friend were grinding for astral one day, then next day the animations didn't even exist. We were both complaining about it and I don't know if they have fixed it yet.
I just want them to be aware.
i did take some grain of salt and it is a bit salty
dont sugarcoat it its worse than this
tl;dr: I agree with everything you said in the video.

YES. THANK YOU.
Wait...did he cook?
@@Gooberoglumbus its what everyone needed since verse 2 released
If they create features like Layer 2, people will try it, enjoy it for a while, and then get bored after about two weeks, just like with the world events. This would ultimately lead to the game's decline because players will have already experienced the 'adventure game' aspect. Therefore, it would be more worthwhile for them to focus on PvP.

Commence the list of grievances:
-Constant performance issues I don't see in any other Roblox games or games in general (ping freeze)
-Dull, repetitive progression
-Lack of endgame content
-Nothing new to explore (the game has lost the scale it once possessed when I was a new player, and it's never recaptured it)
-Irritating enemy design (world serpent one shot, seriously?)
-Useless updates (if it ain't broke don't fix it, looking at you running animation)
Above all else: I love roguelikes, but I can't help but wonder at this point, is this game REALLY a roguelike?

ESSAY MY BELOVED
HOLY YOU JUST EXPRESSED EXACTLY WHAT I FEEL
I agree with like everything you said i just wanna say ty for voicing it
The roguelike label is something that always bothered me, since neither rogue or deepwoken have anything of roguelike aside the fact that you wipe, it's just a permadeath rpg, I found it cool that they at least tried a little with the echoes update, but it isn't really that meaningful aside of very minor QoL, but you can't really blame them, knowing that the game's all about pvp nowadays, so they can't really be interesting with the upgrades..
I actually miss the build variety from verse 1 which is crazy considering how much i hate luck as a system.
putting the entire blame on arch would be unfair since ragoozer and other devs left him as basically sole lead dev,
anyways leaving that aside i already predicted the downfall of the game as soon as it was starting to become sandbox like, wiping wasn't really a problem, enchants were made easy to obtain and became a shallow power up, you don't really fear the depths anymore, you only fear it when you see 5 power rangers with anime mc weapons coming your way, the days where the depths were a hopeless wasteland are long gone, the days where owls were a player's biggest fear are not coming back, the once grounded pvp of deepwoken is now a fool's gold

Anyways, so yoo! rogue lineage legend! I'm glad you've finally been vocal about this. I've been vocalizing it for like a year and an half and I've been complaining about those issues since verse 1.
So I thank you for that. Honestly my brain is not working right now so I'll like send longer message? huh... actually idk man, anyways take the free money for saying something that proves that you care about the game more than the devs.

I've been compiling them! I will probably do this eventually.

(😈😈😈💰🤑🤑🤑 getting that jjk bag)
as someone who has direct contact with devs, a TON of useful stuff gets pushed to them even by myself, it's just so much workload and sometimes it's not even added. not only that but it's not really in the hands of the people who try to push shit to them to get them to stop pushing random stuff to the game. there's only dedication by a couple devs really, arch is really into it, the rest just don't wanna work on this game. rag (who was the only person actually playing his game) has basically moved to the side management of deepwoken's stuff from what i can tell due to the other devs basically saying "the players don't want this and that it's too tough" and he had enough of it and made cursed gear. i don't blame him atp.
So this game is basically fxcked?
determi PLEASE tell the devs to fix the animation blending 😭
im not an experienced dev myself but im pretty sure if they just add a boolean type attribute to the workspace named RbxLegacyAnimationBlending and make it active it'd fix all the animation blending
Starting at 5:54 the point you made about what beginner devs would do...I am a beginner dev, a creative lead and animator, not a scripter or builder, and even *I* had the idea of making an undercover account and play with strangers to get the full player experience
ALSO, as an edit, I'd like to mention in the Ragoozer section that he's not working on Deep because he's working on another game

Same goes for ethirons bone wave ; I haven’t played in a while so maybe it has been patched but I really doubt it , builds can easily wipe due it being invisible because it seems like you’re being hit by absolutely nothing. They could at the very least disable the attack until they patch the vfx for it
@ agreed

I think creating new areas and exploration and keeping the combat relatively the same helps players who dont no life it 24/7 actually enjoy it and take breaks and come back and i think a focus on actually QUALITY updates vs the slop weeklies would've been a much preferred addition in hindsight, but with where the games going now I feel like it'll continue this way until the devs abandon it and continue onto a new project.
the lighthook cooldown is gone now btw
Deepwoken's biggest problem is the weekly updates, I truly think that so much can be done in the game :(
Thank you for making this video. The devs have undoubtably lost the plot, and here are MY own complaints;
- Diluvian Mechanism remains unfinished nearly a year later, remember when they said it would get unique mob statuses and more unique rewards? None of those are in sight
- Ignition Delver origin also remains unfinished 5 months after release, in fact it hasn't been touched once post-launch day. Easily the worst origin to go for
- Conquest was told to be a League of Legends copy, which I had my doubts on.
- Instead of fixing the Voidheart's noclipping they outright REMOVED 75% of the area itself (???)
- The Gear Cabinets have killed the atmosphere for all islands. Getting to a new island and being forced to explore to find the training gear was an engaging and fun experience, but that has been replaced with extremely out-of-place Gear Cabinets which just kills the whole atmopshere and that thing should just be removed in it's entirety. For example the entire Mantra Shop in Etris has been rendered useless because all the Attunement training items have been moved to those boring old Gear Cabinets
- The Devs making changes no one asked for. You've already talked about the Sand Knight and running animation changes, but other things like the Visionshaper rework (rather the outright removal of Illusory Realm), the Depths-voiding threshold being massively decreased, and much more that I cant list because of YT comment limitations
- The Addition of Legendary Weapon slop, while the Fan Artist contests produced much cooler concepts that everybody would have preferred to be added rather than something like Hailbreaker. This reminds that Rag said that he would add some of the Fan Artist contest weapons anyway but those are literally nowhere to be seen
- Hive Origin is seemingly gonna have something to do with FARMING ??? not sure how they're gonna manage to make that fun and engaging
- A general lack of PvE additions to the game.

Screw meta, we ball
it really clicked with me when i read another comment that described builds as being tools now, rather than characters of their own
they all have a presdestined purpose, and are molded to be 100% efficient at doing said task, only to be discarded when you've obtained whatever it is you want
i miss spending time thinking of names for my slots, miss the time when i could remember a character's name years after it wipes because of it's uniqueness
I was playing earlier today and the bug is back again 😐, also side rant while I was playing I discovered a new game breaking bug almost every 20 mins either that be parasol just straight up not de-spawning like wtf???? (Btw parasols dont de-spawn if not killed and will just sit at an edge of the map forever) or a bug where you could like un-equip an equipment then equip another but it would bug out and dupe the original equipment like it’s so hard to defend this game man.

Weekly updates need to stop.
does nothing they just wont work untill the deadline is 2 days away arch literally said that himself
That's why they need better management, or hire new devs but I never made a game before so I don't know how easy or hard it is to hire a dev
- kaido is a mess along w/some other bosses
- i remember on release there was a huge issue with floating fruit or collectibles around the map & this bug had lasted for atleast a year, again i guess no testers complained about it & no devs played?? or they legit just didn't know how to fix it lol
- it seems like they've lost their passion for the game, as far as ik Arch & Rag are working on a new CC game
- slop quantity > quality
- everything feels mushy, enchants don't feel special anymore, i suppose the same goes w/relics & legendaries
- PVE has gotten just as a weird feeling i can't name, bugs aside just normal monster PVE progression stacking DVM & using your evanspear, not like darksouls, not like WoW, not like a wave killing game so it's just some weird hybrid of it all
it really hurts to see the game deteriorate. i've been a fan of archmage for up to 7 years now since i was very into tales from the valley, i think the formula for games like that & rogue can be very satisfying & addicting but i just don't know what deepwoken is going for anymore
although i'm not surprised lol, this is the arch & rag developer pipeline, honestly just waiting for a new game of theirs to come out so the cycle can repeat itself
please do a series on you playing "pilgrammed" its similar to deepwoken but made with passion and its super fun to play.
reject midwoken, return to goat lineage
Id make fun of you but the game would unironically have half its problems fixed if the playerbase was bigger
@gunnyisgoodboi4846prob over half tbh
@gunnyisgoodboi4846 but duke erisia's so hot i could never leave him 😭
i hope so much the devs will see this. like please update the game every 2 weeks. it felt so great when they did the thing to world event (even tho it was/is buggy but it felt good having a bit more content in one update even if the wait was longer)
i hope that people stop playing the game so that they can either finally listen to the community or make a new game entirely
Keep on raising awareness. Updates should be bugfixes and QoL changes, not slop additions. W Video
It's tragic.
Do not slander king aga he was the deep doomer before deep doomers existed
There's no way aga is that unreasonable.
I never got the same rush I did on rogue when ganking or even just traversing the world, I thought I was going to be scared shitless in deepwoke while just exploring because it was the hardcore game I imagined, I thought I was going to have to prepare to some extent to travel islands, I wanted some cool core gameplay mechanics instead of just whatever excessive handholding they gave us
I can rant for so long but I’m truly just dissappointed of what this game could have been
Last thing I wanted to add, after all these years it really pisses me off how easy they made everything to get and how easy not wiping is 😂
quite frankly, the game needs to be shined and polished in its current state. we don't need conquest, we dont need a saramaed boss, we dont need hive origin (i REALLY want it though), we need the content that the game has currently to not all be half baked. it feels like i'm testing the game with the amount of bugs and unfished shenanigans i encounter.
I'm still insulting people who say garbage like "chef oath" instead of adding a musician oath and weapons to a game about song.
these things definitely need to be called out more. devs should be aiming for higher standards and substantial content instead of creating more slop and problems with every weekly update, we can only hope though
12:16
bro is def calling punchee out 😂
Man i hope they actually start making better updates, ik that im an freshie since i started in october last year so im not one to speak but the game just feels unique and really fun to me
2:20 a couple years? less than 6 months ago i played a deepbound progression and the bubbles worked just fine
Yeah it's been broken for about a year but it gets broken and fixed on accident
The way i believe it works is that every time the move is used by a crab the particles are called to load in and despawn after a set time, but the longer the server has been active the shorter the duration of the bubles become, sort of how like certain effects like golden tongue or reinforce used to expire earlier in day old servers.
My theory is that, because the particles are loaded in for so little time, this sort of time escalation or whatever we're supposed to call it causes it to despawn the particles the moment they spawn.
@@Thats_Shady100% this cause i see it most often in brand new depths servers
I remember when the first deepwoken clips came out a few years ago, it feels like we were pranked with what we actually got.
It was a really late April fools joke
they better make rogue lineage remastered
Would love to see it tbh but it wouldnt last in todays front page today
the game was on of the best games on deepwoken and would take days too weeks to hit pwr 20 now i can do it in 40 minutes. they promised so so much and i understand alot can change but the game is legit as chaotic as jail break if not more chaotic, the lore doesnt make sense anymore (even tho most dont care about that) i miss when each update was exciting and now all i see is a new oath thats hella broken, a new legendary, more bosses, more content ect, but never any bug changes besides ones that were added like 2-4 months AGO. tho not only that i miss when people were actually scared to wipe and fight something new, but now people look at something new and are like oh well if i wipe i can just remake my exact build and itll only take 40mins - 1 hour, people used to crave deepwoken and now it feels like wasted memories in my opinion. I miss the old game.
No, no they don’t. Next question please.
LOL
I remember some time after l2 there was a period when you could see a dev in chime pretty often (I think it was ragoozer?), after that we had a lot of really good balance updates, we need more of that
Let me know your thoughts on this if you have any!
why is my character jorking it whenever i run
world serpent suprisingly ISNT broken, his only issue is that after he blasts up after a dive he doesnt land in the correct spot visually, but when he resurfaces hes in the right spot
hes easily the best world event, give him a shot
the testers after they don't report bugs to abuse them/vid farm
quack you should know better. your fans dont have thoughts
@@vyzxc YES they do
not to mention the sanity issue in diluvian. Its basically impossible to use it to prog now, as my head is about to pop every 2-3 levels.
In the wiki it literally says ‘weaker damage in exchange for ether drain.’
Third, animations, bug fixes, and the weeklies.
TL;DR: listen to your community and be more hands on with the people who play your damn game.
u mentioned shadowcast doing absurd damage and draining ether & i agree dude i didnt even think about it like that
shadow SHOULD be doing pisspoor damage.
@@MaliciovoRemember that u can combine it with 2 attuments....
- weird bugs everywhere, hardly polished at all
- unbalanced
- nothing fun to do
- all the devs have abandoned it excluding 1 for cursed gear
*oh my god its rogue lineage all over again*
for you new guys basically rogue lineage was arch/rag's (mainly rags) first (and previous) proper game
it became a buggy mess, (khei) was unbalanced, (khei) and it got dry and boring
then the devs said "oh were making deepwoken" and "we'll still update rogue"
give em a few months and, uh oh, they all left for deepwoken except 1 person (grimmkind the goat)
And yet rogue lineage was monad studios peak
I'm glad someone's saying something about this
Shadow OP, lets you apply like 5 effects with one mantra while doing 20% like bro.
Bloodrend wasnt even parriable for a month 😭
@gunnyisgoodboi4846 Bloodrend didint even have a resistance for a month 😭
@@goinforaschwim2119 that aint an issue compared to powercreeping your “hardcore” game that the new shit just bypasses the ONLY defensive systems in the games. Shit is unironically becoming TSB first hit wins. Next weekly will add a mantra that just ports over a tsb moveset with truestun. (Bypasses all and any defense and kills in loop(5xm1s + (moves 1-4)))😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@ 😭
I love that there is an opposite to this spectrum, for example fantastic frontier. That game has been cooking for 5 years with an end of the year dev update and honestly I can't wait for it to be out because the devs have promised us a lot of content and updating existing stuff
The developers have played the game but the thing is that they dont play it as a regular player. They play it with dev specs and everything given to them. I fought a developer and got two tapped by this huge spear with dagger swing speed.
TYY so much for addresing the running animation glitch, I reported it but there was no reply i hope this gets fixed since you are a cc 🙏
I had quit for a while and came back a while after verse 2 and around the start of the endless slop content and stuff... it really hurts to watch everything go down like this
yo bro especially the bounder TIP incident. like the devs didn't even think to check for that stuff
Have you seen the moon Knight recently? Me and my friend were grinding for astral one day, then next day the animations didn't even exist. We were both complaining about it and I don't know if they have fixed it yet.
