Joe man its awesome to see that u have started ur new kits. Hope 2024 is doing well with u.
I had originally emailed u about a ranger that i was wanting to swap to 617 but the motor i ended up getting was a om603. We discussed transmissions a little. I ended up trading my ranger 4.0 motor, transmission and t-case for a jeep nv3550 and np231.
Im currently buying wrecked rangers to have a full lineup for replacement parts as its currently cheaper to buy beat down rangers than it is mercedes parts, lol.
Keep up the great work man.
Hope u and ur fam are happy and healthy.
    God bless.

Now, I'm not an engineer by any stretch, but would it be adequate to modify (preferably a worn out unit for experimental purposes) an ALDA diaphragm with a solid rubber diaphragm, and ~10lbs spring where the spring pushes up on the diaphragm, and away from the pump; mimicking the default copper wafer pressure. Then on the opposite side of the rubber, the boost pressure from the inlet works against the spring, to push it down in order to make a wana-be ALDA. Almost like a accelerator pump on a carburetor only it works in reverse? I'd try it myself but I only have the one motor and I'd rather not hurt it...

How much is the new turbo. Does it connect and look stock or does it require fabrication. What are good working alda worth. I have 4 or 5 good alda from low mile motors I have collected over the years. They are from 20k mile to 85k mile. Lucky mine still works so haven't needed to change or remove it. I try to keep my car mostly original so I don't have allot of disconnected stuff. Only changes are egr delete. And swapped stock fan for dual electric. On 100deg day with ac on high it stays at 85c. And no loss of power from clutch fan.

Would removing this actually benefit the engine in a good way or would it hurt something
