If you're a true Mariah fan you know when any single note in any of her songs is lipped. For example the ending of we belong together is the exact same as when she performed it on gma in 2013 wearing the pink sparkly dress. It was lipped there and it's lipped here

I always talk about this performance! It was the first time i saw her live, and a few weeks i went to vegas and had front row and M&G and even though that was the best day of my life. This intimate concert was still amazing! The vibe was so amazing, and even though all the cameras turned off, she still sang for us and gave us a little concert with some rare musical moments. If Madonna was singing this you guys would be going crazy calling her the greatest singer of all time. You guys just really hold a high standard for a 45 year old mother with nodules.
I mean they gene hating on her since 1997! But the girl can still blow her confidence and nodules take a toll on her but she still has that gift! And yes literally 98% of people with Nodules couldn't even sing anymore yet do what Mariah does she's really touched by the power of God. Also people don't realize but singing with nodules is like singing while being hoarse 24/7 so imagine how Mariah feels?

Sorry to tell you that you don't know what you're talking about. There is a very big difference between lip-syncing and singing over a backing track. To lip-synch is to mime over a pre-recorded track; she's not doing that, she is using the pre-recorded backing vocals underneath live vocals to create a wall of sound, but she IS singing live throughout. If you know your Mariah recordings, then you will know that she never performs a track the same way twice, that is your proof that she is not lip-syncing, but as I said, you would have to either know her recordings well, or have a musical ear. Those who can't tell the difference between live and 'lipped' don't fall into either category.

Her voice, stage presence & interaction were all top-notch! Her Billboard performance of Vision of Love/Infinity was great but this one was more improved. She's always more comfortable in front of her fans instead of venues where ppl can't wait to bash her just to get a headline. #L4L

If so then they'd be talking about how dull her career is -__-. She's such an inspiration and nearly every artist out now owes a lot of their vocal styling to her. She taught me how to use my voice! I've hears she's delivered a good number of bad vocals singing live as of late. but this performance was very good vocally!!! She can still sing her ass off, maybe just not as good as her younger years. Maybe her bad vocals was due to depression. Cause she can clearly still sing live, when she's feeling good....This video proved it!

Why are people making a big deal out of how she 'sounds'?! Do you expect someone's voice to stay the same over the course of 25+ years? Especially a SINGER? She's MARIAH CAREY, I don't care if she misses a note. She's still a legend and sounds better than 85% of the 'singers' out nowadays.
