Disagree. Games like Fallout 3 & 4 or Cyberpunk have a sense of urgency to their main quests, but because there’s no time limit or restriction on your game, you just endlessly keep doing side quests until you get bored and touch a main quest. Narratively speaking, that makes no sense. This however does make a lot of sense. All your quests are pursuits to further your main goal, and maybe they end up being side quests or maybe not. Exactly, I hope Witcher 4 does well just to prove these people wrong. When I heard timer I automatically went “nope not buying”. Maybe when it free.
Dragon quest did the whole time limit thing. Didn't do very well
Farcry7 and this, they absolutely need to make the time mechanics unique enough to not get in the way of the gamers enjoyment. This could be a turn off if not done right.
Majora's mask walked so this game could run
I wanted to wishlist it on Steam, but couldn't find it yet.
If the graphics and gameplay are anything like trailer, it will be a great unique game.
Clearly made for replay ability. Need to see if it holds up to it
I wanna fight like Gerald nd be bad ahh but have the powers or Regis…. Old cdpr devs: hold me beer 🍺
Like “Pathologic” and the sequel.
Man it is difficult to make something like that
This sound like lightning returns.
So basically the witcher but this time you play as the unseen elder
We know someone gonna speedrun all quest eventually
If a game has time pressure, then its a downer. I play games AFTER work. Work is combined with time pressure due deadlines. Games should calm you down... time pressure should not be there.
It’s looks story driving and unique, gonna check it out
Maybe the time limit is actual 30 days irl, so 720 hours to finish it
Just hoping the combat won’t be as bad as the Witcher 3
I really hope there aren't many choices where I think i'm making the right choice. But then it comes back to bite me in the ass, like pretty much everything that happened in the witcher 3
In Witcher that the theme of the book. Yall complain about them keeping tone of the book.
Reminds me of dead rising, which the first game nailed the time limit mechanic. My only concern is they’re proud that the main and side quests are hard to differentiate. That might make the story either really badly paced or the side quests underwhelming when it comes to rewards
🎶thirty days and thirty nights🎶
They have summoned speed runners...
Cant wait to see what the speedrunners are gonna think of this
Speedrunners: challenge accepted
I hope it's persona style time where time passes as you do actions instead of just linearly passing
So dead rising but with vampires
