      @RenaldyCalixte 7 лет назад +6

      Rocky Maivia LeBron does it more efficiently. Westbrook trip doubles feature 40% shooting 2/7 from 3, 8 turnovers. LeBron didn't put up stat lines during his younger years when he had average teammates. Also Harden gets trip doubles by flopping his way to the free throw line forcing teams to give him and his shooters more space because opponents are scared of foul trouble. #LBJHaters just want to watch a top 10 player of all time suffer just becuz he's great and that's sad.

    LeBron carried the cavs into a 50-32 team, he played with literally 4 teams this season
    1.pre Isaiah
    2.isaiah
    3.post Isaiah (trades 6 guys got traded for 4 new guys)
    4. Injuries (guys going in and out)
    Not to mention ty lue being out for a few games
    And he still managed to somehow carry the cavs into a 50 win team.....something that harden and Westbrook can't never do....harden played in the rockets with d'antoni as his coach(one of the best coaches right now)great system also has a great center in capela and a great PG in cp3 and a great team overall....Westbrook? He has PG and melo, and even though he averaged another triple double this season THE OKC THUNDER ONLY WINS 48 GAMES, they didn't have any major movement in the roster during the season, sure there were chemistry issues but the cavs had that same issue times 4......
    Oh yeah LeBron is in his 15th season btw.....
    If LeBron doesn't win the MVP this season, then the MVP award will lose all of its remaining credibility.....

  • @lukeelgee4518

    Even if Lebron was in the Western conference, he might not make it to the finals each year but lets say he makes it 4 times, not in a row but just makes it 4 times. Now would he ever lose in those finals against a eastern team? To me that would take away the argument that most people have which is he loses to much in the finals but if he is 4-1 in the finals (including his first lose to spurs) then wouldn't that make his legacy better?

Lebron is the clear best player in the league but he hasent been the most valuable player to his team in the regular season. Lebron will show he's the clear best player in the league once the playoffs start and the intensity and games really start to matter. Not a fan of ether teams but can appreciate both for there greatness and the Spurs are always there and Kawhi has been amazing this season.

    What I appreciate the most about this video are Colin's facts. Triple Doubles are great and they are an achievement that deserve recognition. But they aren't that special if you aren't a championship contending team. Westbrook and Harding are a force to be reckoned with and this year they are AMAZING! But their triple doubles are like glitter on paper, it looks pretty. In my opinion I think the NBA should not solely focus on the fancy numbers but the type of impact a player has on a team. I'm curious to know how the team does without certain players on a team like with the Lebron and Leonard statistic. I am a Lebron fan first and naturally I am inclined to have a bias towards him but players like Leonard, Draymond Green , Giannis and those similar contribute a lot to their teams and I feel they are being cheated by not being included in the discussion just because they aren't stat stuffers or don't have triple doubles every second.

    Colin you are so blind and biased when it comes to LeBron. The fact that he's been to so many finals in a row is not impressive with how weak the Eastern conference is. He has been cake walking to the finals in the east. You seriously think if he was in the Western conference that he would be going to all these finals in a row? Blind. LeBron did not get robbed from Derrick Rose in 2010-2011. LeBron was on a team with 2 all-stars. Derrick Rose had a great year with less help on his team, same as Westbrook and Harden this year. That is why LeBron comes up short in MVP races because he is always on a stacked team. Throw out all the stats you want on LeBron but we all know that it is easier to accumulate stats when a team has to pay attention to more than just you. And in response to the "LeBron is great for the league" thing. How? Because he gets talented players to take pay cuts to play with him? Awesome, so all the talent in the league has become distributed between 3 teams, the Cavs, Spurs and Warriors. How is that good for the league? All the games are boring to watch up until the finals, besides the match-ups between the 3 teams I just mentioned. Yeah sounds great for the NBA that has become so watered down...

    • @jamiemaignan8962
      @jamiemaignan8962 7 лет назад +15

      Cody Bornemann MJ smashed through the East during his prime. Lebron is currently doing the same. The East wasn't weak during either period. They both were just so dominate over the league that nobody in their conference could touch them. Give them both the credit they deserve. Once you took them off their old teams, those teams couldn't make the Finals (although Bulls still got to ECF while Miami didnt). Basketball is the one sport where one transcendent superstar can make all the difference.

    • @RenaldyCalixte
      @RenaldyCalixte 7 лет назад +5

      Cody Bornemann Disagree, LeBron took an average Heat team and made it a contender. Also the West is extremely overrated every year San Antonio and one other team and all the other teams are comparable to East teams. Memphis and Houston and Utah are going to give LeBron trouble??? 😂😂😂Thats funny, you guys that dislike LeBron try way to hard to discredit, I don't know why it would be one thing if there was a better player than him but there isn't. So you have to make up excuses to rationalize arguments as to why LeBron shouldn't be MVP.
