Here's what I'm thinking. Both sets of my grandparents married as teenagers, as did my godparents. They stayed married till death. They figured life out together as believers. It bothers me that as Gen Xers we have to have 10 years of counseling, read 75 books, have our financial plan solid, make sure we're complete, clarity on our purpose and well developed. By this time, we're 43.78 years old with half dried eggs -- and this most concerning. I really appreciate the simplicity of the previous generations. Thank you for all you do.
I totally understand what you are saying about how past generation marriages lasted longer and they hung in there with each other. My grandparents were married for 67 1/2 years before my grandfather died. My grandmother's life with my grandfather was not easy. She put up with a lot of stuff I would not. Their marriage appeared good, but if one analyzed it closely, it was less than perfect and unhealthy in some instances. This being said, times have changed! Back in the older generations women did not work, so they depended on their husbands, and had to accept things women today do not have to. Also men back then were proud to be providers, some men today feel as though the women should also provide. The evolution of our society, and the world has negatively impacted the family culture, and now we are subjected to it. Since we are subjected to this modern world, Christians have to be cautious, thorough, and extremely careful in our choosing of mates. An unhealthy marriage can cause a Christian to stumble. You really have me looking at myself and I’m at work wanting to just cry out because I know god talking to me and I’m in a by myself completely season and I actually spend a lot of time seeking god now but I understanding that he speaking through you. Agree with every point you have said. Part of maturing is to realise who you are flaws and all. You have to learn to become the best version of you in order to attract your best partner. A lot of the time we think we’re good people because we have good intentions and that we should attract good. But if you don’t love and care for yourself enough to never point out and work on your flaws you’ll never attract the good only the evil.
If you're willing to work together to get fit, build your credit to build your kingdom, and keep God first, then it will work. Someone that exercises can be a motivation to someone to do it more. It just depends on them and if they're on an adult level but not completely aligned. That's the part where you can learn your differences also. And still be in an agreement.

You really have me looking at myself and I’m at work wanting to just cry out because I know god talking to me and I’m in a by myself completely season and I actually spend a lot of time seeking god now but I understanding that he speaking through you. There’s a reason why you keep attracting certain type of men and this is a season he is definitely developing my character. I mean I go to work home and church. I study and as I develope and pray I notice I’m coming across certain pastors with certain subjects that I need to hear. your so right 2 years ago i was dating this man he was a good man very close to his family and God we always talked and shared our knowledge he was a value man ...but he needed his season for himself he broke up and tried to get back with me...i didn't want to keep going back and forth especially since he wasn't sure ...i told my friend maybe it was me that lacked value and maybe he didnt want his soul tie with me...my friend thought i was crazy for saying that ...but i was right i had some value but there was alot going on in my life old soul ties and baggage that devalued me and i learned not just him but also i needed time for myself and the Lord to clean house and soul search- Durham NC

Agree with every point you have said. Part of maturing is to realise who you are flaws and all. You have to learn to become the best version of you in order to attract your best partner. A lot of the time we think we’re good people because we have good intentions and that we should attract good. But if you don’t love and care for yourself enough to never point out and work on your flaws you’ll never attract the good only the evil.

If you're willing to work together to get fit, build your credit to build your kingdom, and keep God first, then it will work. Someone that exercises can be a motivation to someone to do it more. It just depends on them and if they're on an adult level but not completely aligned. That's the part where you can learn your differences also. And still be in an agreement.

He thinks he’s bothering me BC he has a women no no no you her headache now smh ohhh and I’m eight years celibate and still live with this clown he’s been cheating 3 years now so who’s the dummy here. In his head he really thinks I’m jealous no no no just BC I’m not out here fornicating does not mean I’m not happy. I’m happy he’s moved on but he’s so mad he will mess his self up to get at me Jesus he’s stupid. He’s like a cancer, if I didn’t stay with him he would have made my life hell giving me a hard time financially for the kids I made him think it was all good so my kids could be happy and get the things they need and deserve it’s not their fault I picked an idiot. I’m not gonna make them suffer and not grow up with their dad. I waited patiently and KaBOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM 2011 I took my life back. We have 3 kids together and 6 all together they all grown the last two are twins a boy and girl from 32-20 I will be 50 in June he will be 60 in June yeah a senior citizen tricking women for sex smh. This has to end BC I’m not responding to all his evil attacks so he’s escalating getting worst and someone’s gonna get hurt and I don’t plan it being me so this has to end. In November he received his license to carry a firearm it came in the mail but he was at his women’s house so I took a pic of it and texted it to him and said I hope you don’t think that scares me smh I’m not scared at all I told him I’ll shove that gun up your shoot don’t play with me, and I said you plan on this being Chester part two and laughed, his brothers name is Chester and he just finish a 15 year bid for 2 counts of attempted murder on his ex-wife and her friend they was going through a nasty divorce one morning they got into a big argument he snapped and just started stabbing them both up the knife broke and he went to the kitchen and got another one and finish the job but they both survived. I’m trying to get up a 2000. Retainer for a lawyer her fee is 275. An hour. In October I went to see a lawyer. It’s gonna happen when it suppose to god always takes care of me. Ive come to far to be intimidated by a JACKAZZ I have done nothing to this boy but been good to him. He can play with me if he want to.

I am so preoccupied with improving myself...I don't have time for anyone else...I used to be depressed.. severely depressed because I was so busy looking outside of myself for comfort...I discovered God...and he is exposing myself to me.
