Dude, it's mine and my best friend's fav Kiss album. It was a weird strange time for the band at a crossroads of many things including their overall sound. I find the songs are the most pop oriented with great hooks. The production is kinda thin unfortunately especially in the guitar department. But also Anton on drums makes all the songs move and groove. I'm more than happy to call it my fav album with this song in the top 3 of it.

Bring deep cuts to your concerts not just the kruise . No wonder you had to cancel a Vegas residency due to soft sales ,even the most die hard kool aid fans are complaining it’s been too much of the same setlist for too many years. This right here is amazing!
The issue is the greater audience at a normal show on tour wouldn't know the deeper cuts. I play in a KISS tribute show in Australia and have to be mindful of the setlist for that very reason. Even when we play something like She, Creature or Parasite more than 70% of the audience have no idea what we are playing

I love how Gene messes this song up, it makes him human to me. So good to see so many positive comments about unmasked. I always get made fun of by my fellow kiss fans because I absolutely love that album. Too polished, maybe but those songs are really great. Especially Ace's tunes.
Nice updated rendition of a classic KISS song. It should be included in the EOTR tour setlist for 'lifer' hardcore fans. This is the stuff we all want to hear and see...and pay big money for.
Underrated song if you ask me. As Paul said in this show, they don’t play it much and it shows. Paul even stayed away from the mic during the final chorus, you could see it in his face. If he’d try singing along at that last part, he wouldn’t keep the laugh under control.
He was doing this in his solo tour. It’s really a great song from a really underrated album. It’s just good pop music. “Tomorrow” is still a fantastic tune.
I lot of posts here say Kiss should play more stuff like this on tour. I can't agree more. I saw them last month in Lafayette LA, front row (16tth time to see them) and while it is always fun to see and hear Kiss in concert, I too wish they would play some of the older, less-known gems like this one.
That's why they do these very deep, and incredible cuts in this setting. Every single person there is a KISS nut and knows them by heart. Playing them on tour, esp this song, can kill the pace. I've seen them 21 times, no Kruises, and even a deep cut like All the Way in Rock the Nation tour sent scores to restrooms or beer. And they did good bit of deep cuts on that tour. Of course I loved them. Mick said also said when the Stones tried some, he was shocked at how the stadium seemed to empty at those songs. KISS knows the fans want to hear Mr Speed or Got Love for Sale etc, and I think it's great they do those on these special Kruises, when they know it will go over good with hard core fans. Otherwise they'd never do them. I dont believe The Stones would ever play such cuts if they were to do a similar cruise. This shows how KISS knows their fans. I mean, who ever thought we'd hear this song live! After 40 years!
Surprised they've never played this live before, I've always thought this was one of the better tracks off the album (was it Unmasked?) EDIT: It looks like Gene kept coming in a bit early on each verse which is probably why Paul was laughing at him around the 3 minute mark.
Where's Syncing Stanley, This isn't 100% live. Gene's head phone monitor is out of Sync and the vocal backing track is coming through a few bars later how the rest of the band hears it.
Ya I’ve seen Kiss 17 times in my life. But even I skipped the last and 3rd farewell tour. They basically played Phoenix twice this last tour. The show was getting stale with same exact set list and show. I had enough. And that’s saying something. If they played just a few of these type songs I would have gone. But it’s like going to the same movie twice
I really wish Kiss would just comepletey re-do that entire album. Just take the disco element out from it and make it have more a metal sound such as this. So many good songs that record that just never got the light of day.
It would be great if the play all the hits in one night (love gun, detroit, lick, all nite...) And the other night just dark and never played before songs. Also, I dont understand why they left the opportunity to get millions in a just elder tour. They know and we know, we would go
Sure I'd definitely go. But you think it would sell? The album only sold, I believe 4 and a half records. Of course I'm kidding it actually sold two. But seriously I think not doing a proper Elder tour was a wise move. May be cool on a Kruise show.

For KISS fans this isn't a deep cut. I've had this in heavy rotation since it came out. I think the Vegas residency would have went forward if they advertised a Revamped set list. Two reasons; If you've ever been to Vegas, it's mostly 45 year olds and up. The average KISS fan is male and 54 I believe. (and "I" would be a great addition to the set).
