I'm in a time machine here. So cool to see so e really old, classic tunes being played. I remember dancing around my bedroom in the late 70's to these songs
@@TomPI9000 Yeah that's why I said "allegedly." I believe there was a time when the rumor was that it was "soundcheck" or "rehearsal." Either way - it's not truly live in concert.
When I was a kid in the 70s it was a coin toss between Paul Stanley, Robert Plant and Freddie Mercury who my favourite vocalist was. It's just so sad to hear Paul now. He can't even do his stage raps without his voice cracking. I get that while people are willing to pay their money and enjoy the Kiss show, he'll probably keep doing it, but for a guy that loved his voice for 30 years, I feel nothing but sad when I hear it now.
I think that is well spoke steve. Lots of old Kiss fans be tell today Kiss fans they are stupid for liking "old man Kiss" or "tribute band Kiss" but you said your opinion nice without telling people they stupid for not agreeing. I still go and see Kiss when I can and enjoy alot but sure they ain't being the same now either and that's a sad thing too. Getting old is hard but nice and good you said your opinion without talking down to fans who still like the band todays.
I don't think he needs the money at this point, but obviously loves what he does. I guess while people are willing to hand over their money to hear them play casinos and fairs, Kiss will keep rolling along, at least for another couple of years.
Kiss has never minded trading their old fans for new more promi$ing ones. People who attend these shows are wannabes who have no idea of what the original band was about.
I'm still having a blast,,forgetting my problems when Paul and Kiss perform and he is putting out best effort he can...Paul had some serious throat surgeries and there were some things that are bad side effects from those surgeries causing damage but he is giving it his best and to still have my favorite band I grew up with in the year 2017 means the world.
I held the phone chest high and watched / enjoyed with my own eyes, and I wasn’t really thinking much about what I filmed. But, I figured many fans would enjoy seeing this rare performance anyway.
I love to hear Paul try to sing. His stage raps before the songs kind of remind me of Peter Brady when he hit puberty and his voice was cracking. KARMA is a terrible thing. Remember when Paul said KISS was bigger than any band member? He also said that Peter couldnt perform at the level to be on a KISS stage. If a member cant perform well anymore they should leave. I guess that doesnt apply to everyone does it. This has to be some kind of blow to his ego and self-esteem.
Great post, but one comment needs to be addressed: It is not a blow to his ego or self esteem. He actually is delusional. I am dead serious. I am talking a mental issue.
Sounds okay and maybe Paul needs to rest the voice a few months at a time to keep some strength in it? But he does not do it all now as it has taken its toll and Gene sings more.
Back in the day Paul could belt this out retirment is what it is time to call it quits just can't go watch them anymore and will never watch a bunch of replacements.
I'm surprised there wives don't leave them since they tour non-stop all year long that's what happens when your music doesn't sell there last 2 cd's are building dust on my shelf i've been a Kiss fan since 12 yrs old, i'm 52 now so save all the ''hater comments'' i know what i'm talkin about Original4Forever
Wow, hard to believe, I absolutely love Monster and it gets as many replays in my system as much if not more then the originals. I'm 53 and been a fan since 75
I wish this was on the end of the road tour set list. HIGHLY underrated song!
The FIRST KISS SONG I EVER HEARD!!! Still gives me goosebumps, 42 years later!!!
I'm in a time machine here. So cool to see so e really old, classic tunes being played. I remember dancing around my bedroom in the late 70's to these songs
WOW, rare classic and sounds tight.
OMG! OMG!! This has always been one of my favorites.
This was magical! Wow
This is lovely and awesome! I haven’t heard this song till now!
@@KISS2vocalist thank you!
3:05 "I love it" Wow! Thumbs up Kiss Army!
I wish I had been able to make it to one of these...
To be fair, if they did songs like this where Paul doesn't have to work his voice hard they could've done fine even with his voice being shot.
Damn, really wish they played this live back in the day when Paul was in his prine
It's on Alive 2
It's not on a setlist from back then so it's thought they played it and added live sounds later.
@@miquaelres8989 I think I read someplace that the Alive II version is actually a soundcheck with crowd noise added later.
@@schepler2 I heard that as well
@@schepler2wow, weird production choice
Always just loved this song
Oh Man!!! One of my top 10 faves! Sadly, only on the cruise. If only I had the money for these trips.
My favourite part is 0:00 ~ 4:30 .
wow!!! awesome
Awesome... I hope they will add this to the next tour!!!
Wow!!! Sounds so good.
Kicking ass, old school Kiss song!
Best From Late Night With Johnny P Show
This sounds really good!
This is awesome.
why was this amazing song never played live?
It was, check Alive II
@@montecarlostar It wasn't live.
@@TomPI9000 Yeah it was allegedly a soundcheck.
@@BradCarlMusic No, it was studio, simulating live.
@@TomPI9000 Yeah that's why I said "allegedly." I believe there was a time when the rumor was that it was "soundcheck" or "rehearsal." Either way - it's not truly live in concert.
I love it I hope that kiss never stop to do do do thissssssss Awewsome
i would have lost my mind if they had ever played that at a show i went to. wowee. Even though Paul can't remember the order of the lyrics.....
I appreciate them for playin tracks unplayed live.
It’s on alive 2
"The best band in the face of the earth, lick it up"
Not too shabby.
Do the very same stage and tour in the UK for 2 weeks. Playing the large theatres. 2000 to 4000 a night. Stage looks great

What a shame he was 1 of the best period.😁😁😁
I don't feel sad. I feel anger. How dare he charge all that money to listen to him warble as such? He should be ashamed. Instead, he's delusional.
I don't think he needs the money at this point, but obviously loves what he does. I guess while people are willing to hand over their money to hear them play casinos and fairs, Kiss will keep rolling along, at least for another couple of years.
nice!
Coming from someone who grew up with KISS, how do people still enjoy this? It’s nothing but a parody now.
Kiss has never minded trading their old fans for new more promi$ing ones. People who attend these shows are wannabes who have no idea of what the original band was about.
It is since ALIVE II that hears the live😂
Someone should isolate Pauls Voice and put that on here LOL

Wow. I saw them on the LOVE Gun tour and they didn't do this. One of my favorites. I think Paul did a good job here too
Paul sounds like Edith Bunker during his stage raps.
Glenn Ratner haha...you're right
Glenn Ratner I I think he sounds like the Mike Myers character from Coffee Talk from Saturday Night Live
Ooooooo Archieeeeee !!!!
LOL
Que buen set list
This is a great performance considering there age and how torn up Pauls vocals are
Great quality. Thanks for posting. Did you get Sweet Pain recorded?
Pity this was never on the playlist when the “real KISS” was around.
When Paul actually had a voice and a decent lead guitarist
Awsome! Great video! I heard they played "Hot & Cold", is it true?
yep there's a vid by a guy called Rob Lovash on youtube
You didn’t show the guitar solo . . WTH 🤦🏼♀️

They actually played it in its original tuning
Foganewgon next cruise they will play My way and fight hell to hold you... In his original tunes ;)
Crisscat Maybe "Get all you can take" too? lol
Tony Houle I wish lol
No, the song was tuned down a whole step down like Hotter Than Hell, it’s a sad coincidence they prefer that tuning to help Paul out.
Nope. They’ve been tuned down to D since the Monster tour.
If he didn't strain his voice explaining the songs he could maybe get through the set with no problem
Let Eric sing Paul's songs. He can do them
I Agree but the fans would HATE that
Sounds okay and maybe Paul needs to rest the voice a few months at a time to keep some strength in it? But he does not do it all now as it has taken its toll and Gene sings more.
His voice is SHOT, resting it wouldn't help.
Bruce Kulick is is still the BEST lead guitarist KISS ever had
Back in the day Paul could belt this out retirment is what it is time to call it quits just can't go watch them anymore and will never watch a bunch of replacements.
Much easier on Paul's blown out voice
Yeah. No so hard
Nice played by the band, but Pauls voice sucks
It hurts my ears... Next cruise put the Paul's songs in playback... Will be better for him and everyone
crisscat2006 You got your wish.
Would you rather hear This on the current Tour or Heavens on Fire or the Awful Crazy Nights Again. Nothing But A Cash Grab
1- I stole your love
2- Fits like a glove
3- Tomorrow and tonight...And Paul Speech
I'm surprised there wives don't leave them since they tour non-stop all year long

Yeah I love Monster and SB too, hope they make it a trilogy.
Me too, but they better hurry up ,ya know! Studio trickery can make Paul still sound good!
I'd make a really good KISS Wife then because I'd love the fact they tour a lot. That means lots of Me time.
