would love to see how you tailor your clothes to fit.
Regarding the cedar wood balls, you can buy cedar essential oil and infuse them with a few drops every now and then and they will be as good as new.
Great tip, thank you 👍
I really appreciate that you put some cut away footage showing how to use everything, since a lot of these tools I had no idea about or how to use them. I've learned a lot from this video!
I do go into some more detail in this video ruclips.net/video/EE7NhQrd2dY/видео.html if it helps too ❤️
Thank you so much! Yea I’ll check that video out as well 💕
I would be really interested in a sewing video. Some tips on how to repair, tailor etc your clothes.. :)
Me too! I just found my old sewing machine in the attic. xx
Me too. Please make a video about tailoring your clothes - wenn possible 🤩😍
Same here! My sewing skills are pretty basic. Would love to know some tips and tricks we can practice. :)
Me too! Would love to see this!
Ooooooh yes me too
Knowing how to sew, even a little, is SO useful! I constantly sew little rips and stuff and I'm sure that saves me some money every time. Also, I NEED that lint brush right now 😄
The lint brush has been added to the bag, looks brilliant, and I love a little travel size of anything!
I have all of them already 😁(different brands). I love having my clothes and particularly my shoes always looking like new 🤩. Simon is the best video editor 😎
What a great set of tips Emma... trying hard to keep my capsule wardrobe in good condition so this will certainly help 👍❤️
Emma, you're one of the best fashion youtuber ever! Thanks for knowledgeable and informative videos. Stay safe and warm and happy holidays!
Thank you, you too ❤️
Certainly one of the most down to earth💕
I also just want to say that your videos have been so helpful for me lately! They've helped me to find my style, build a curated wardrobe, be more conscious about my purchases and the environment etc ... loving all the new content!
Thank you ❤️and yes I use my lint brush on everything even knitwear 👍
Exactly me too! Thank you Emma!
i like this theme with be sustainable, care and use what you have instead of buy new things! carry on
p.s. i miss Emma in mustard yellow 🌻
love all this content you are putting out! thank u for being so thoughtful and talking about how to be more sustainable with fashion. u r a timeless youtuber ;)
Great tips Emma and I love having them all in one area or “kit” per sei. Thank you!! xx
Great tips! I agree on using the lint brush without sticky bit, when i worked in retail I also learned that the sticky ones can pull off too many fibers and not just dust and hairs. For example on an alpaca jumper it could pull off or loosen the fluffy alpaca fibers of the jumper too and ruin it in the long run!
Love all your videos!! xxx
Much much needed video Emma! Thanks a lot for all of the tips ❤️
Great Tips. Going to look for that lint brush ASAP. Love the idea of creating a kit.
Love this! We see so many hail videos on RUclips but not enough videos on how to care for what one already owns. Thanks Emma 🎁❤️
Thank you Emma for all your hints and tips on keeping our clothes in mint condition. 🤗
thank you Emma for your videos full of tips, in particular for those that would help us be a better citizens on this Earth ❤️ I hope to see your vlogs again one day too. 😘
Great tips! I've had success putting my cedar balls in little cotton bags (or old socks) and put them in drawers that way and haven't had any problems with staining *fingers crossed!* That's amazing that you're able to do some of your own tailoring - it's something I've been wanting to learn the basics of, like hemming trousers and skirts etc, would be so handy. Feeling very inspired!
Discovered your channel during lockdown, and have to say your content is so authentic, informative and helpful for my own purchases. Appreciate your insights!
Amazing, thank you! This year I’ve been trying to purchase quality over quantity and have been trying to make more effort to look after my clothes properly so this came at a perfect time
Thanks a lot for the great pieces of advice, Emma! While watching, I stopped the video now and then and ordered online some of the items you recommended. I am going to enjoy these helpful devices!
Love this video and all the tips. I love how you really care about the environment. I've been using liquiproof and they work really well on my suede and leather shoes. I was caught in heavy rain once and my leather sneakers look perfectly fine, you can actually see the water droplets on the surface not soaking in. So definitely worth trying :)
Brilliant video, thank you. This actually answers a question I asked after watching your laundry video (about steamers and cashmere.
Excellent video thank you. I didn’t think of keeping everything in a box - genius idea.
Due to your recommendation i bought the same debobbler and its fab , even works on sweatshirt material besides wool and the size saves loads of time. Best thing i ever got from amazon x
Cool lint brush. You always find the most unique items!
A steamer is definitely on my wishlist 😍 you talked about it obviously but I want to add that I keep the sandpaper in my kit so I remember to use when I do a clothing care session 😀 this video is saved to my "how to list" thank you!
I've got most of the item's mentioned, one item I think is a wardrobe kit mention would be a lingerie bag for all whom that would apply to. This is a helpful video, Emma! ❤
Again Emma, I love this video. I am so happy you buy and try to look for eco-friendly and sustainable replacements. Also, with your previous video you raise awareness to shop more responsible and sustainable where possible. Because of your videos, I already buy more concious and less! I wonder if it is possible to make a video about vegan friendly shoes, bags and belts. For the last 6 years I don’t buy any leather/suede and wool anymore. It was not an easy journey because I used to love leather and owned lots of leather/suede bags, footwear, belts and trousers and wool is so soft and warm. It was quite difficult to find fashionable replacements, you have to look at other materials. I for example bought myself a beautiful designer bag (and belt) made of metal ring pulls from a British luxury sustainable fashion brand (one of my favourites brands). I must say though that luckily (with the world focussing on more sustainability) that there are more and more companies and shops now that do good and fashionable non leather shoes and boots. There are also brands now that sell responsible and ethically sourced wool, which is the way to go I think. You are definitely contributing to a more sustainable, eco-friendly and responsible shopping environment, thanks for that. ❤️ xx
Just ordered the lint brush, thanks for the recommend! I’ve been needed to swap from the tape version for years, especially with 3 dogs and a cat!
I needed this video so much !!! Thank you 🙂
Thanks Emma. I didn’t even know a “magic eraser” existed. I will definitely be getting myself one of those as I have so many trainers in need of a revamp.
A note to anyone who is contemplating a "debobbler." I used to have a battery operated one with a smaller head. I now have an electric one with quite a large head and it has been a game changer. I can even use it on upholstery! My dining room chairs are wool felt and they get bobbles on them and it works beautifully. There are lots out there on Amazon so I don't need to recommend a particular one. Last year I bought USB rechargeable ones as gifts for my daughter and daughter in law like the ones you have linked, Emma. For me personally, I get more oomph out of my electric model so I don't mind the cord but obviously it limits where you can use it :)
Great tip, thank you. ❤️
Going to be referring back to this one for sure!
I’d also love to see a tailoring tips video suitable for beginner to intermediate level sewers, by hand or by machine.
Great information, thank you. I need to add a few I had never heard of but need. I have acid free tissue and 100% cotton zippered pillow cases in my care kit and wrap natural fiber clothes in the paper and then stack in the pillow cases in off seasons.. Another tip I use is nearing the end of a season I start putting a twist tie on the hanger of the items I have washed so at seasons end I know what needs to be cleaned before storage.
Thanks for recommending the lint brush! I haven't heard of it before.
Brilliant. Thanks for these great tips.
Fabulous video! Thank you so much!!!!😍❣️❣️
I would love to see more videos such as this about other things.
This was really helpful! Will definitely be investing in these products 😍
Thank you so much for your tips, Emma!! I have the same debbobler as saw it in your other video and omg it has been a life changer!! Kept ke occupied throughout these hard times and all the garments looks amazing. Keep doing what you do best and stay safe ❤
P.S. Your skin is looking amazing and am looking forward to a new updated makeup routine ❤
I purchased the lint brush set and the cedar balls. Thank you for the tips and links!
love the environmental conscious approach!
i used to work at a second-hand clothing store and they had a de-bobbler (we called it a pill shaver) and i had never seen one before that, but i bought an identical one for myself and it's amazing! i absolutely recommend it for anyone who is a bit scared by it lol
Great video. You are the best, Emma! Thank you for your tips. 💕💕
Thank you Emma! This video is so useful!
Thank you so much for sharing Emma! Yes, this vidio is so useful!
Great tips. I will have to look for those lint brushes amazing.
Thank you so much for the tips and advice! Looking forward for your next post😊
Great tips! I need one of those lint rollers (own a collie, which probably has the same amount of hair as your little ones combined). I do have a similar "self cleaning" lint roller for furniture I'd highly recommend. You swipe it back and forth and it traps the fur and lint.
Did Buy every one of the articles...Thank you!
Love your videos, especially those where you talk to the camera, not behind it ❤️☺️
Great tips! I have these already, and I could add one to the list, which I recently discovered: a magic sponge that removes deodorant marks from clothing. I've used it on a black silk tee, and it works great.
Your tips have made my life more enjoyable. I purchased the same steamer you have in the spring and I've been loving it. I use it once or twice a week to freshen up the clothes that I've worn that week. I hated ironing and I avoided doing it until I had no more clothes to wear. Now I'm happy and sometimes even eager to plug in my steamer and build up some muscle on my right arm, lol.
🤣
Useful video as always Emma. Thank you 😊
The box is a great idea...I'm always looking for my items
Yessss love this video! I will definitely get a steamer and a de-bobbler. Has been on my wishlist for so long but will definitely get it for myself for Christmas :). Also I was wondering, the lint brush, does it also work on knitwear, or would you recommend only using is on 'harder' surfaces such as jeans and coats?
amazing video~~ I got de- bobbler few months ago from your previous suggestions, I love it ! thank you
thank you so so much! a great video 🥰 as always!
This is so useful!! Thank you 😊 xx
Wonderful ideas! Thanks for sharing! I love your videos!!!! :)
Emma! Just wanna drop a thnk u note here. I watched this video and bought some of your suggestions. Can’t believe I didn’t do any of these before. I felt like this was legit a great #adulting Video 😂😂😂😂
This may seem obvious ...
But ...
It’s made me fall in love again with some of my old sweaters, and old leather bags which I think I didn’t give enough love and maintenance before this.
Brilliant work thanks Emma!
Magic eraser is such a good idea!!!
Very useful tips! Thank you so much! 😀
Thank what a really good idea would make a really good gift for someone who loves her clothes
I have the same debobbler, and I often think I should keep all the fluff and I could probably make a whole new sweater out of it every year! 😂
I know I often think the same 🤣 Could be a little business 🤣
So important to really take good care of all of your items! 👍👕👞 I have a big kit myself!
Brilliant video, very useful!
Some really great tips, especially the one about shaving off some of the cedar to last 6 months longer! 🙌🏻🇺🇸😊💛
So useful thank you!! 💕
Ι love this type of videos!
Cashmere comb! I was today years old when I found out it exists and I grew up working at my grandparents' dry cleaning shop! Thank you! As I get older and less tolerant of itchy clothes I'm narrowing my sweaters to cashmere only. Thanks for helping me keep them top notch.
Also, dry cleaners use nasty chemicals, I steer clear of them as much as possible too 👍
As a follow-up: I purchased a cashmere comb from Amazon and I am pretty obsessed - what a huge improvement over a sweater shaver!! Now I DARE my sweaters to pill! Ha! Thank you again for the tip!
Thanks for all the good tips!
Very useful Ema, thank you. 🙌🏻
Thanks for another great video. 😊 Funny enough, I use and own every item you showed. The lint remover gets the most work out in my wardrobe too 👍 Emma you can also use eucalyptus oil to remove marks from sneaker soles. It also removes ink (from biro) off handbags, leather sofa etc. Just rub gently on the leather items using a cotton tip or cotton pad. In my experience and I’m fussy, it’s never damaged any of the leather items I’ve used it on. Look forward to your next video! 🥰
Great tip, thank you ❤️
Thanks. I really liked this video and have been encouraged to have a day maintaining my clothes. A sewing video would be a nice idea. I do some sewing but a few basic tips like hemming etc would be fab. Hope you, Simon and all the doggies are well ❤️
Thank you. We are all well. Hope you are well too ❤️
Very helpful video - thank you!
I love your tips, but I love your english! I understand everything🙂🙂
Great video!! Thanks
Thank you much!!
I was asking you to do this video! Thanks a lllllllot!
Thanks a lot for very useful information !!!!
Love love love your content, as always. Will add some of these additional pieces to my arsenal ;) Quick tip about the Magic Eraser: they're FULL of chemicals and are therefore not great on your skin. Whenever I've used them as a stylist, we've used rubber gloves as a barrier. Be sure to wear gloves going forward so the icky bits don't seep into your hands!
I hadn't thought of that, thanks for the tip ❤️
Magic erasers are pretty much pure melamine foam which can be bought bulk from Amazon and Home Depot and the like. Way cheaper than the branded stuff, though you should still ofc use gloves :)
This is SO useful, thank you so much!
One thing what I always wondered: do you have any tips on how to deal with the inevitable smell when wearing shoes without socks?
Just what I needed. Thank you :-)
Very useful...Thank for sharing
I have a "kit" very similar to yours. However, the one thing that I cannot do without in the winter is Static Guard. Yes, I know it is full of bad chemicals and that it comes in an aerosol can but it works. 💁🏻I use eco friendly detergent and wool dryer balls which I replace every few months. I simply cannot stand for clothes to cling to me due to the lack of moisture in winter. Open to suggestions! Great vid. Thanks.
Such a great video!!! ❤️🇦🇺
So useful!!
Thanks Emma, I bought the handheld streaming iron it’s worth mentioning that the iron needs constant water top ups 😉 thanks for your great work xx
Yes I normally have a jug of water next to me to refill as required. 👍
Very useful and informative.
one more good video, with useful tips, thank you
Btw could you do a winter styling video for coats with boots and bags? I have many impulse purchases that I am not sure how to pair with things in my closet. I feel like I have too many colors or materials in my outfit 🤔
Thanks Emma
Good kit ideas 👍🏽
Emma, that would be a cool item for me. I hate to iron my shirts and ties. Have not done that in a while. 💘.
Vidéo très très utile merci 🤩
liquiproof is a very valid product. I bought it last year to protect my suade boots and it's very effective
Thank you ❤️
