I had no idea this was a cover! Since it was not included on the final album, there were never any credits to go along with it. There was an interview with a Japanese magazine where Slash said (poorly translated) "Jack inspired us to make us to arrange his idea with my band. He is happy with that song." I had interpreted that to mean it was written by producer Jack Douglas. But I guess he meant it was Jack's idea to cover it. Where can I find your original version? I don't see it on RUclips anywhere. Thanks for your input! I love the song, it has a very grandiose and dark vibe. I also really appreciate the lyrics, since there were never any officially released because, again, it was cut from the final tracklist of the album.
