If he really felt uncomfortable coming in for the interview to speak freely, he should have declined. His behaviour was just uncalled for. He knew what was up. I think he came with a combination of PTSD, a low self-esteem and a fear of going viral in case he might say "the wrong thing". To add to that he was also trying to save some stories for his own documentary. He should have rather came after its release so we can have a real interview without the awkwardness. I was really looking forward to this conversation but felt disrespected by his conduct. I expected more from Cease.
He said why an you Still didn't hear him his name is lil cease and he has his own story his story not to tell ALL OF BIGGIE STORYS. Meaning so if I didn't know biggie would you interview me. Like you got a best friend that's passed and for 20 years you do interview an there always about your best friehd an not you for 20 years. So be real about it I want to do a interview with u cause nobody else will come do a interview about your best friend will u..
This is a pure example of a good kid who needed a solid father and has been lacking one even before losing the surrogate he found in his most critical development years. Definitely would benefit from the right therapist, but he will be fine regardless, just with a lot more inner turmoil to fight with. Wish him the best. Long life and happiness found. Shout out and RIP to Big too, as always. Not enough stories about the good he did, so that was good to hear.
That's what happens when you live in someone else's shadow especially in music. Knowing they asked him to come on here to talk about Biggie. So he kinda should of known especially if nothing is going on as far as having a business they own or are in, a music label, or shit even new music. they gonna ask about that giant you was with the shadow is as big as everyone's light remember that
At first this episode was hard to watch. It always difficult when the subject of the interview is reluctant to be forthcoming like the nature interview, but this turned out to be something more. It ended up instead of a historical firsthand account of one of the most monumental stories in his hop it became about how to deal with the trauma of death. Very powerful.
Damn after watching the 1st part and most of the 2nd part I was thinking ah man this interview is disappointing but then watching about the last 30 minutes of part 2 I felt sad for Cease because we really don't think about how him and the people who were really close to big were effected and they are left to continuously relive not only the great experiences with Big but also that fatal night of his death. Salute to Cease and RIP to his best friend BIG, his sister and Bristol.
I actually loved this interview .. more people need to be like Cease … he wasn’t putting his life on display for entertainment … he protected hisself and his loved ones .. he isn’t doing anything for likes or to go viral.. then it ended with some real discussion and black men giving genuine love and hugging .. we need more of this
If he doesn't want to answer questions, he shouldn't do interviews anymore. This is terrible. He dodged every question. Shame on Cease. I'm only listening cause I'm working.

I love this interview and it’s hurts as well I totally get & feel why he act & think that. I wish him nothing but the best I commented that he held BIG kids down for all these years.
I would like Lil Cease to put out another album. I liked the wonderful world of Cease A Leo when it came out. I Bought that album just on the strength of his connection to B.I.G.
Fam...what we all just witnessed was depression. Cease is depressed he may not feel it, but we see it. He never said he felt depressed but the guarded nature, the drinking, unchecked trauma of BIG & Pac's shootings/death, his sister passing away from pancreatic cancer and raising his nephew, his father dying, his other friends dying, etc all that weighs heavy. Especially since he might be the breadwinner in his family. He even said he had to leave NY to find his peace of mind, he isn't the first entertainer to do that either but to deal with all the madness of the 90s and go thru life without those essential people next to you is rough. I pray Cease gets the therapy he needs for real and as black men we need to talk about the shit that weighs on our minds and hearts
I understand his trauma. Yet at the same time he needs to take into accountability that he has nothing going on and the only thing to interview him on, is big, Kim and beef
Didn't get anything of substance from this interview, but it did make me think about the Math, Esso, and Heineken situation. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. But I do hope they can hash things out one day.

Lil Cease is solid. He protects his friends and family when others don't. Love wins always. It squashes beef and makes family & friends reunite. You can tell Lil Cease did his homework on Math Hoffa's My Expert Opinion before doing this interview.
I don't see how he's protecting any friends. He, l repeat HE, went on the show. If he believes his words are hurtful then learn some tact or don't do interviews

When a dude is being defensive over a heart to heart conversation about a solid soul like biggie, it is obvious that the defensive dude is hiding from his guilty conscience. Lil cease is seemingly suspect from his body language and defensive posture. Nuff said. Great interview Math Hoffa, you and your sublime crew nailed it and got him fidgeting and uncomfortable. I feel two ways about this. The first way I feel is I understand Cease. He saw his best friend get killed and has to live with that memory for the rest of his life. He’s been telling BIG’s story for 26 years now, I think tonight was just the straw that broke the camels back. I also don’t think he’s dealt with that trauma internally yet. As a emcee from Brooklyn, and the fact that BIG is Math’s favorite rapper, I felt like Cease could of went in depth a little. I also feel like if Cease is tired of the same questions, he should stop doing interviews. He can easily put out a documentary, and call it a day. S/o to Cease though, much luv to the bruva.
