bigga &umar’s conversation, and my focus on patterns of behavior, brought me back to this episode.
Back when I was a kid in '91 and '92 in the 5th and 6th grade Black Sheep were an absolute staple in my hip-hop listening. "A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing" stayed in my walkman back in '91 and in '94 with "Non-Fiction". Dres and Mista Lawnge are absolute legends in the game. This was a great episode and Dres is a great storyteller!
Shit like a movie. Dres killing it. It's 4 am on Monday morning. I gotta work in 5 hours and I'm bout to put on pt 2 like "fuck it".
😂😂 these episodes can do that to you sometimes.
Dres is doing the classic song Autobiographical just through conversation. The most slept on storytelling hip hop song of the 1990s.
Dres stories are the greatest. The School bus fight, the coat room theft, Rikers Island intro
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE EPISODES OF MY EXPERT OPINION NEXT TO Q-TIPS, TRAGEDY & G-WHIZ'S AND MIC GERONIMO'S. SALUTE TO YOU GUYS FOR GETTING ANOTHER GREAT INTERVIEW 🔥✊🏾💪🏾👑
P.S. DRES Is DEFINITELY a TRUE LEGEND AND KING✊🏾💪🏾👑
BIGGA IS VERY MUCH NEEDED RESPECTFULLY DON’T EVER DISRESPECT THAT BROTHA. WITHOUT HIM THE SHOW WOULDN’T HAVE THAT SPIRITUAL BALANCE 💯
Facts, bigga dope
I come back to this episode often. The recollection in each story and moments in time is crazy 💪🏽
I took a typing class in high school where I was the only boy, too. A couple of dudes looked in and immediately left when they saw all those girls. "I'm thinking, why are you guys running away? Don't you want to be near the source?"
This is incredible.... amazing storyteller.
This show is different with the elders. Whenever I see a older artist I tap in quick. Very good episode guys
16k views on a Dre’s Interview let’s me know the state of hip hop we are really in…. Dre’s is one of the legends that drops heavy heavy heavy jewels 💎…in most interviews I’ve seen. 💯
I'm catching up on interviews and was surprised this interview has low views. Meanwhile Fat Joe's interview has 3 million views. Dres interview has so many gems and actual stories. 💎
This was a fire episode. Salute to Dres. For anyone here amazed that he found Hip Hop in NC in the early 80’s I’d like to let you know I was born in Spartanburg SC and I’ve been Hip Hop since 1979. That’s when I heard Rapper’s Delight ON THE RADIO for the first time. By 1980 we were hearing The Brakes at the skating rink. I got those records along with every other Sugar Hill Records and early Def Jam release when they dropped back then. There were a lot of us early adapters in the late 70’s and early 80’s
I caught two snippets before. Proud of his aging and keeping his values standards and morals first
I love hearing about how people were first introduced to Hip-Hop from all parts of this country
Dres tells great stories. Definitely had a interesting life before Getting a deal.🔥🔥 interview
Agreed. We’ve had him on our podcast twice and he is so down to earth and engaging
Literally one of the greatest ever! Salute, for having Dres. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
God damn! This dude is a storyteller to the max, when Mecca said let's take a break. I'm like why you taking a break so early for, it been like 20mins lol. The vid finish and I'm like damn dude had me mesmerized with his stories.
BIG FACTS Bro✊🏾
Dres is a legend, one love. Need to get De La on 🙏 pz
Yes De La Soul please! My favorite group of all time
Been waiting for this one, based off the clips! Dres is a legend in hip hop and a true pioneer. He also drops more jewels than gemologists! Peace y’all!
You’re not a captain if the ship can’t sail without you💯. Salute the team.
Yo dres been a fan since I was 11(1991)I'll never listen to another Black Sheep song the same again, this dude really was wild lol...never would've known any of this you never glorified in your music much respect
‘My pleasure’. Its amazing how infamously drawn the stories of NYC actually are. Stirs up every emotional fibre in my body, no joke.
The dynamics he explained about Sanford and Fayetteville is spot on. Sanford and Fayetteville is literally maybe 25-30 apart. I heard mad stories about Dre’s staying in The Ville
Math keep going y’all brother’s going to change the way podcasting works Big Facts
Yall need to get Kool Keith on here.
And Ultramagnetic.
Now I know why I felt connected to that group I'm from Florida and they had a southern style mixed in with new York
Dres was my idol during my late teens years 18-22. the preppy hood blueprint orginator
Yes once again The Greatest Show in the World Mecca and the team holding it down keep shining Kings
I didn’t even notice Math was missing, ‘till y’all shouted him out. Kick him out his show. He ain’t necessary. 😂
Dres, still can’t be Violated or even Decepticated !
Never that Bigga is a unique and intrical part of My Expert Opinion platform!!!! Without him there be no reasoning in these conversations conducted!!!! With that being said Salute to my boy Math and The Whole Entire Team on my Expert Opinion!!!! You guys are the truth!!!!
Blessings 🙏🏿✊🏿
Awesome, Legendary interview, Salute
Very interesting journey Dres 🐑
Math and his team is building a strong root structure while weeds just shoot up and got no roots.
Dres the LEGENDARY
1. Dres is a good storyteller up there with Fat Joe and Irv Gotti
2. Get Chi Ali up there asap pronto!
Yes to both points! 🙌🏾
Best episode by far
WE NEED NATIVE TONGUES TO GET BACK TOGETHER AGAIN. WE NEED THAT VOICE OF COOL TO GUIDE THIS MODERNIZED RAP THATS HERE TODAY. WE NEED YALL AND YALL KNOW IT. PEACE
Ain't gonna happen.
@@sugashack74 yeh sounds nice but... aint gonna happen. too much $$$ in death
The last time we got to see something like that was "The Space Program" by Tribe.
Such a Dope interview salute to the Legend Dres 💯💡✊🏾
Easily 1 of the best episodes on here yet, Dres got sumn to say 🏆
This gon be good
#Legendshit Salute my brother 🙏🏾💯
42:23 nah I was in Texas in ‘83 ‘84 and hip hop was LIVE! And this is a small town outside of San Antonio. Breaking. Grafitti. All of that!
Great story and interview and the team did good without math being there pure energy 💯
All I wanted to know wth with the nonfiction album I was waiting for years for it to drop and omg I was so disappointed sophomore jix was really a thing 😔 😡 😥
Autobiographical....wtf pops? Jehovah Witness??....that was my joint💯
I knew I had seen this dude before.....I lived in Fayetteville in the 80s but I went to Reid Ross High School (cross town rival to EE Smith)....I used to go to EE Smith and play ball because my grandma stayed not too far from there.....I actually seen dude with the marching band. Being originally from NJ, I heard him talking to someone and I heard his accent and thought to myself "where this spanish kid come from, NYC, Jersey City?" small f*+kin' world....
I know Dres isn't spanish but he looked like a Dominican or a Puerto Rican to me....I never chopped it up with him, I just saw him and heard him talking
@@emiajjnoir8156 he is of latin descent
@@ProdbyGrimeyred I saw as I watched the interview....I was surprised that his pops is Spanish so it all makes sense ...still tho, to have seen dude in the marching band as youngsters (Dres got me by like 3 years) then I see his video years later and now I know I wasn't crazy thinking he looked that marching band n!@@a from back day, it actually was him.....like I said before, small f*+kin' world....
@@emiajjnoir8156You didn't know that was him when "The Choice Is Yours" dropped in '91?
We were in highschool at the time ...E E Smith to be precise.....this was back in the 80s
Dope 🔥
I loved Black Sheep’s originality and style✌🏾Dres and Mistah Lawng! Bigga STFU! 95% Of NY came to VA in the 90s left in a bag. NY have the best talkers but the South is more action less talk
Tell Bigg whats up! Bumpy is the 1st revered and loved black gangsta in NY and he straight outta Charleston SC
I HEARD U HAD DA FEVER 4 DA FLAVOR .. SOMEBODY SAID U HAD IT GOIN ON .. HEARD U HAD DA FEVER 4 DA FLAVOR .. HURRY UP IN GET A SCOOP B4 IT'S GONE' ..
If DRES cheated, then so did Rakim.
Wait I didn’t understand why champ & Sean bigger was about to fight 🤔 I know people in the comments are going to get at him because you’ll call him a man of God 🤦♂️
Stop it Bigg! The biggest black Gangsters that ran NY and didn't fear the Mafia were from North and South Carolina. Yall were the ones who glorify Italian gangsters and mafioso rap. A country nigga really step to em
I remember when that show came
So glad Math wasn’t on this episode asking silly questions
Nas mentioned a Barkim in Represent. I wonder if that's the same guy from his prison story.
I hope shit stay connected. I love seein yal doe well😇
I keep telling ya'll to put Ivan "Doc" Rodriguez on the show!! on point 53:47 min
I know Bigga is Math Man unless Math is using it to generate views and keep the algorithm moving = $$$$$. In My Expert Opinion Bigga is not the best distraction. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd time he has gotten into it most recently was a guest and now his co-host. Math needs to keep security as security not everyone is meant for the spotlight. Only Job I know you can lose it and keep your job.
Bigga at times means we'll but in this case his actions energy not necessary towards Champ. Nah bro. He should've apologized to that brother whom in all episodes thus far, has exhibited humility and restraint.
$37,000 biweekly profits, His grace is sufficient in my life!!!

@@blakeeddie3056 Who is this Mrs Olivia Renae Marks!!?
@@georgeeddie2037She is my family's personal Broker and also a personal Broker to many families in the United states, she is a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in the United States 🇺🇸. My family got in touch with her after she did a broadcast on ABC NEWS about her profitable investments and trading, she is so awesome that my family is now dept free...
NC , didnt get anything late
If has was in a choir and he sang and played instruments imagine if he thought of singing on records the way Mos Def does? He would have been ahead of his time. He can still do it if he has it in him
I need Bigga removed from the podcast entirely. He is the only drawback to the show.
🤣😂🤣
Nah man. Bigga has his place on this show
Chill he brings the balance
Very much needed balance. Let him live...
Real Meo fans rock with Bigga
No as I recall the last rap I played wasby Dres and he said he took the oath, and fuck me.Hmmmmmm......
🎱🖤 #DedicatedSurvivors
3 hours + ?.....
Yo on the real, tell me the thumbnail to this video don't have Dres looking like Freddy Krueger 😅
Bigga is a wobbler
That's false ong anyone from out of town try and come to our town and take over ends up dead. I'm from upstate SC. we maybe country but we have never been cowards .
HE'S a LEGEND! He gets nothing by capping on ANYTHING down SOUTH, IDIOT!!! Especially in 1985!
Country towns are worse than big cities. Most black people there either know each other or are related. It's only 2 degree of separation at best and out of towners come to those towns thinking its sweet and come up missing.
They came to VA too and got sent up thinking we was slow. The women out here in the 757 will set the OT dudes up quick
Wow so this is what we are glorifying? Grow up. And y’all wonder why things are the way they are with us 🤦🏾♀️
@Dr. Umar’s school we not glorifying anything we just responding to what he said, which was false
Mecca ,it something about him I can't quite put my finger on it, idk if it's a quiet hate or he feels his better than others, he seems to wanna be the main guy on the low🤔🤔🤔 Just a natural observation 🤔🤔
gutless
Very very hip hop...look how dres posed
I love to see NYC rappers aging gracefully with their TEETH in tact. I don’t know what’s in the water but y’all be having horrid bottom teeth in NY…The choice is yours is a great song one of my favorites Dres looks great
“We can make it hip to be what we are cause what we be be the epitome do dah dippity”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 @ "Horrid bottom teeth" 😂😂😂
How come yall always find a way to disrespect the south i was going to watch this episode but I'm straight.............. new Yorker
