I've been playing the 60g. Aldila Rogue for the last four years, love it. Looks like a lighter version of the Rogue might be worth a try.
I was playing the tensai orange av 65 stiff in my G410 plus and thought it was good until I tried a demo Srixon Z765 with the Rogue white 70S and ended up buying it. My swing speed is 104mph and thought 70g would be a bit heavy but it just feels so balanced and I can shape the Srixon. I sold the G410. I tried a demo G425 max with the CB alta shaft against my srixon on course and was getting more distance from my Z765. Srixon is still in the bag but doing another head to head on course with the SIM max and same Rogue shaft. Fun experimenting.....
Great video Lee. I just got the 425 max in the CB slate in stiff and it is awesome. This club just hits target - I actually attempted to slice it out of interest and it just goes straight. I’m sure there a longer drivers out there but for consistency and forgiveness it is incredible!
I put in a lighter weight (13g) in the heal from center and it cut the curve by 50%. Sets up perfect now
Lee, I know you like various drivers but probably 2 or 3 of those drives with the G425 were in trouble. You should put it in your bag and continue your journey to single figures and scratch with the majority of your 2nd shots from the fairway instead of the rough either side. How many times did you say “this head’s forgiving”? I was typing this before you said “this feels like a fairway finder”.😂😂. Forget the light shaft! TenseI Orange for you. Imagine how far down the fairway you’ll be once you’re used to it and hitting it from the sweet spot. So, fit yourself into it!!

Need to fit no points Dan into one of these 😂, I was fitted for irons and driver last year for the first time ever and got a shock how much difference the shaft made to distance and shot shape 👍
Be interested to see what you think of the Callaway stock options. Looks to be only one (albeit three flexes) for the Epic Max LS which seems a bit odd.
I think it is unfortunate that a person who swings over 100 mph is testing a shaft that is designed for slower speeds. I am 77 and use the distanza. 2 years ago I found that I had started to lose distance. The lighter shaft has brought some it not all of it back. It works for me.
Although Tensei Orange was best in your test, the Tour or Rogue might have worked as well in a lighter weight.

Starting to think the same with the metal woods
Interesting Lee. I got fitted by Ping 2 years ago for the G410 SFT regular shaft. I've since had a knee replacement and my swing speed has increased. I may try borrowing a stiff shaft to try out. It's definitely all about getting the right shaft and getting fitted. I gained 30 yards after my Ping fitting but im now curious if a stiff shaft would give me a bit more.

What difference is it going to make for you to hit one more and then swap the shaft?

You're as inconsistent as an Army private on shore-leave. All you care about is swinging the club and hitting the ball.

Tensei always slices for me. Just fitted myself into Ventus Blue due to its smooth profile and ability to turn the head over.

should have hit an alta cb in a stiff or more...the reg and heel strikes dont put it in the best light because you would probably get the highest ball speed with that shaft...only thing would be controlling spin and may have to loft down.
The purpose of the video is to show the difference in shafts. Between weight and stiffness.
@@LWG But did you hit the tensei in regular? Its not a fair comparison because you have a great swing.
I said in the video, the fitting kit only comes with 1 tensei shaft. What it shows is the importance of a fitting and not buying a club on a whim.
You're not leaking any shots to the right because you have learned to compensate to the left to avoid leaking shots to the right.
...it would happen with the other head if you hit it right...but your problem is that you think that all drivers should be hit the same and then produce the same shots.

Does the arcoss come on the butt of the grip when you purchase each club? I changed the grip at purchase and the arcoss is not there. Should it be? Thank you
It should be yes unless you choose a different grip.
We did choose another grip do they cannot put it on the new grip?

if it's impossible for you to hit it right then you need to learn how to hit a shot to the right.
why don't you stop talking and just hit the two shafts in your sim
