The pink is caused by salt. In South Australia there is an amazing region where pink lakes, larger than most rivers exists. So loving your adventures Di.
I'm sure the Pink lake and Nature's window is where band Voyager filmed some of their official Eurovision 2023 video for Australia. As I remember the Pink Lake and Natures Window being in it and I think they are from Perth, Western Australia.
