- In his first rally since the assassination attempt last week, Donald Trump said he had “taken a bullet for democracy” and urged his supporters to “fight, fight, fight” to ensure he wins the November presidential elections with a landslide. He also spoke of his good relations with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and said that Russia's Vladimir Putin never would have invaded Ukraine had Trump been the US leader. Story by Charlotte Hughes.

I tried to overthrow the state after losing an election for democracy.
No he didnt. No one was armed. He told the crowd to peacefully protest. What happened at the capitol was on film. Your account of it doesnt exist. What you regurgitate here is a lie. And we’re sick of hearing it. We’ll talk when you actually become capable of independent thought.

I've met Trump many times. I worked at the McDonalds on East 47th in Manhattan. He would very slowly and ponderously order: 2 Big Macs, 2 Quarter Pounders and 2 Filet-O-Fish, regularly . I thought he was an i/dd adult.
