Not a demon but a Goddess, Diana Ankudinova a true polyphonic Contralto, the most unique powerful and easily the best female vocalist in the world and in all honesty i have heard plenty of people that sound like Dimash, THERE IS NO ONE that sounds like Diana.
Everything you hear from her will be a new experience for you, she does not joke around, she challenges and recreates music each time she opens her mouth.
You can say superlatives all day for other singers but for her they are just not enough.
She is the "Queen of goosebumps" and a monster vocalist, or i should most probably say a Godly vocalist.
She was 18 years old when she sang "Can't help falling in love", she is 20 years old now and she has been singing since 5 years old.
Do not be afraid to listen to her at any age because even from the age of 10 she could easily challenge any adult singer.
Her catalog is huge and everything is top quality so i am having trouble on what should i recommend to you first.
Try to listen to her at 14 with "Rechenka" or "Derniere Danse", at the age of 15 with "Wicked game" or "Human", at 18 with "Oh it is not yet evening" or "ВОРОНА" (Crow), at 19 with "California Dreamin'" or "Fly away on the wings of wind", at 20 with Baikal or "The day you...".
All these are just the beginning, you journey is gonna be a wild one.

Welcome to Diana the Queen of goosebumps. Yes, she does has subharmonics similar to polyphony. She is truly remarkable. BTW - on this show the judges are also the contestants, so when they say that see is beyond the contest, they are saying that she is beyond their own talents.
Also Diana is super talented to sing along with backing tracks that are pre-recorded with her own voice. I haven't seen this much with other artists.

I am completely shocked and blown away by this woman's voice! It sounds otherworldly. Feels like you're in the presence of God when you hear her voice. I've never heard anything like that in my entire life. I would love to see her in concert.

This was the final performance of the night of the first show of a 9 week singing show with 9 singers performing each week and also judging each other. Diana was voted the winner on this first night and was voted the winner of the 9 week show. She was 18 years old at the time, 20 now.

Diana was 18 here, competing with seasoned, famous singers, and this was her first performance (of nine) of the show. Quite an entrance to make :) A good place to start the Diana rabbit hole is to watch some of her early TV performances when she was 14 or 15 (Wicked Game, Derniere Danse, Rechenka, Blizzard), then watch some of her recent stuff. Diana has a huge catalogue, though. Everything is interesting and most is insanely good, spine tingling, mesmerizing. Enjoy!

It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. His concerts sell out in minutes. “Nunchucks “ is probably one of my many favorites and gives you an idea of what he can do. Diana, a unique singer, songwriter and actress from Russia was born in May, 31. 2003 in the Far East of Russia. She is 1,65m/ 5,41ft tall.
Diana has something primal, mystical, but also sensitive and sensual in her voice and she lives her songs. She also has a perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm was exceptional even as a little girl. During 2008 to 2012 Diana sang around 40 songs, including at competitions.
Her mom, Irina Ponik, turned her whole life inside out and started all over with a new motherhood and many new professions - seamstress, manager, vlogger… admirable.
Everything that has to do with Diana's singing training, performances, competitions, looking for sponsors is organized and coordinated by her mother Irina Ponik. She took extra sewing courses too. Since then, she's been sewing all of Diana's stage costumes, because all of these things consume the family budget.
Irina accompanies her daughter on trips and captures her life in photos and videos with the persistence of a visionary. The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to RUclips and soon Diana had millions of fans.
The project producers help the finalists to start their studies and promote their creativity. Diana won a scholarship and Igor Krutoy (Russian music titan, billionaire, juror and sponsor) gave her a small apartment (37m²/ 398.26 ft²) in Moscow. There she lives with her mother and grandmother and was able to start her vocal training with the best teachers such as Professor Olga Donskoy. (She died of Covid-19 in October 2020). Her Russian fans helped her and found a new voice coach: Alexandra Pismennaya (Sasha), who was a student of Prof. Donskoy. She and Diana are on the same wavelength and even became friends.
2020 Diana graduated from high school with honors as an external student a year earlier as “normal”, applied to music colleges and was rejected (examiners suspected she had a voice defect). But she is normal and healthy. Now she is a student at the university, at the legendary Russian State Institute for Theater and Variety Arts (Juilliard similar to GITIS).
In October 2021 Diana was invited to her first adult contest on Russian television 'The ShowMaskGoOn'. She won!!!
In December 2021, Dianas released her first CD with great success. Maestro Krutoy had introduced Diana to the excellent singer, songwriter and producer Brandon Stone. With Maria Tarasenko (songwriter), the trio created the 9 songs of the album and received gold in June 2022.

One video of Diana's, in my sight, is a total masterpiece the like of which I don't remember ever seeing before in my long life. It's a must see for anyone that loves singing with unending emotion. The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life.
