Robert, your intern/daughter is adorable and a natural fit at the OBF. Hope you keep her. lol...There's something special about little girls and their daddy's. They grow up so fast so cherish it but remember this ~ that little girl will always belong to her daddy and she will cherish those memories when you're gone.... From a 70 yr. old little girl at heart who had a great and wonderful daddy. 😄
OMG! When you were in the closet and picked up the little yellow and green barrel shaped item, I almost screamed! When I was a little girl, that was the salt and pepper shaker on our table. I believe the pepper was orange and green. My mom is deceased, so that reminded me of my mom. Now, I’m going to look for old pictures of our dinner table to see if I can find them in the pic! Thx Robert!

Love watching your daughter/intern working with you! I'm glad to see you back in the house again! Looking forward, as always, to seeing more progress!!❤
Your Old Byrd Farm artifact collection looks very cool. That would be awesome if you did an update on it. The inside is looking great. I bet it feels good getting more rooms cleared and finding family treasures hidden in the trash and junk is always rewarding. I really enjoy the progress on making the old historic house and farm a beautiful place again.
Can't wait until you get into the stuff in the dark bedroom across the hall. There's bound to be some treasures in there! Great video! Keep them coming!
If we can ever get our schedules together to get that hallway in, that will be next. It will take lots of time and care though, because that was a bedroom and a lot of family treasure, etc in there I’m sure
Hello you all. I am glad you are able to get in where it isn't quite as hot. Your intern is doing very well and I enjoy watching both of you. For maybe 5+ years, I'd hire my niece to help me clean house about every other week. It really helped. We got to know her better, the house was easier to clean and she also got a chance to earn some money. Thanks
This is like a DREAM you’d lose me for hours going through all that stuff 😍 I love spooky old dolls too! I’m so invested in this place Robert you do a cracking job 👍🏼 do you still have an Instagram? Tell Taylor Swift you’re fully booked! I’d love one of the Farm T’s .. truck loadsa Love from South Wales 🏴 UK 🇬🇧
Robert when did you get the “ghost meter”? that checks for electrical fields. now that the old Byrd farm in on the grid, it makes it so much easier! especially with A/C down in Georgia. that is a bad thing about old homes, they have minimal or no insulation to keep the heat out or cool in. nice video, happy hunting for those treasures!
It’s great seeing you back at cleaning out old closets. Your young intern is a real cutie. I hope she’s learning the tricks of the trade of doing Utube. ♥️😊👍👍🌟🐾🐾🐾🐾
Thank you for another nice video. What I like about your channel is you keep things simple video tech wise. No stupid extra effects and tricks. Plus you always have interesting topics you cover. God Bless and keep up the good work.
What an amazing video! Such a time capsule and to be honest if we could spin it back to some of the modern times and just a bit of technology from today life would sure be awesome. Your daughter is a breath of fresh air and I see your a true family man 😊
What a busy day.! It was delightful to watch you and your "summer intern" she did a great job and everything was interesting and fun. The oleomargarine box brought a lot of comment, and there was lots of controversy over it's use and consumption. It was actually invented by a french chemist in 1867 his name,Hippolyte Mege-Mouries. The history of this substitute butter is quite the read. I'd keep the box, just because. Continue to stay cool and looking forward to more interesting living at the OBF summer of 24'!😄Love from Ky.
Well hello and it’s good to see you two and looking like your having a good time as they say one day at a time for cleaning up but it’s all worth it in the end thank you for sharing take care 😊😊😊
The intern needs a raise ha ha. Got that K2 meter out. I have to do the same, Robert, to the old house on our property. Take trash bags and trash what is obvious and put other stuff in containers temporarily.
I see something familiar in this video. Lol the quilted table runner I made! 😊 hope you like it. Can be machine washed. I am horrible at communicating with ppl and didn't tell you that when I sent it. Did the little bottle make it safely.. ? It was full of sand and dirt and I was afraid to clean it out. I didn't want to break it.
Robert, you about gave me a heart attack when you picked up the historical rocker by its arms. Easiest way to break them! Safest way is to pick it up under its seat. Same concept for tables: Never pick one up by the top; always pick it up by the vertical apron or under the drawers. I have my grandmother's rocker--same style; very comfortable.
Seems that best way to tackle restoration of house is to first clear it out. Carefully inventory and pack up contents. Put in storage.... Just a thought.
I saw a Western Union Mailgram at one point. I really wanted that. I hope it didn't go to the trash, but I think that's where it went. Anyway, that's a cute kid, and she seems to be a good fit for the channel. That's good.

Save the book cover! The book is probably in another room. Don't forget to check the pockets of the clothes that you're throwing away for little treasures. You might want to think about wearing gloves when you're sorting things like the things in this closet.

Intern and thanks!
The "Lamb Chop" item is a vintage Halloween costume. The bandana on your head made you look like Rambo
Gonna have to wear it next time I go Rambo on some wisteria
@@THEOLDBYRDFARMVLOG 😂
Yep, definitely vintage, and worth something. I remember watching Lambchop in the late fifties (?) and early sixties.
Good job to do inside. She did a great job with the tractor last time.
You said a couple years ago!? Wow I would have e already had that cleaned up and painted
Great job on the closet. It’s coming along

Love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect you Robert working on the old Byrd farm
The old rat chewed shirt would be good for Halloween zombie costume, neat!
Very interesting to see the Old Byrd Farmhouse from yet another perspective!
Welcome, Intern, to RUclips filming! Great job!
Great video and ghost hunting😂watch out for the brown spiders!
Your bandana is actually a military cravat. It is generally part of a first aid kit. They are very handy for making arm slings, tying up splints, etc.
Neat, should put it in my ambulance then
That’s an interesting wall clock. I’ve never seen one like it.
You guys make a great team. Helper is a hoot! The little barrel is a toothpick holder , think we had one when I was a kid in the mid fifties.👍🇺🇸
I have one like that bought as a souvenir near an Indian reservation its part of a salt pepper set
Sweet. More intern please
She will be back, I’m sure
Chairs vs wisteria 🤔🤔🤔 too many chairs not too awfully bad…😂😅😂

If you find any quilt pieces, let me know. I'll see if I can do anything with them for the Old Byrd Farm.

The little "barrel" you found is a salt/pepper shaker souvenir from out West! My mother in law has a set from her mother who brought them back.

Hiya guys, I think the lamb chop was a tv show. You had lots of fun and a great job cleaning out.
Lamb Chop was one of Shari Lewis’ hand puppets on her tv show. I had one as a child.
That’s awesome info thanks, didn’t know it came from a hand puppet
That place is very cool.. History to it
