I have had the small one for about 3 years now love it, cuts bamboo great especially taking the canes off flush to the ground. Will save your hands if you have alot to cut, I have no regrets at all getting it.
I have the larger of the two units you're demonstrating. I have had none of the problems you encountered. Both batteries locked in securely; and the locking tab has a definite click; and stays in place. I use mine when I'm processing a tree. Cutting 'all' the branches at every 'Y' juncture. This makes it easier to pack out a tree. Anything a little bigger than what these shears will cut; I use Kebtek's 8" mini chainsaw. That being said; they have a new 5" mini chainsaw that intrigues me. Enough so to where I'll end up with one soon. Along with those 16v pruners! What can I say? I'm a Kebtek fan!👍
Thank you for your detailed comparison. The very useful variable opening feature you pointed out and the ability to use an extension pole made me decide on the larger B00480, even though the smaller unit is lighter and handier
I appreciate the video. I have both in my cart. I like the idea of having extra blades. Weight is not an issue so it's an easy decision. Unfortunately at this time I could only find your 25V model on ebay. The smaller is available on Amazon.

Now we have 40mm new model: KT940. Would you like to have a test?🥰

Thanks for the details brother! Good job
Your saying the 16V Kebtek does not have a brushless motor. Amazon description advertises that is does have a brushless motor.
how many watts is the bigger one?
How much does the body weigh after installing the 25v electric scissors battery?
I weighed mine at 48oz (1.36 kg)
Will it cut bamboo?
What is the cost of both ?
