I bought this aircraft 3 months ago and every time I fly it I get chills... It's aircraft like this that makes A2A the best in the business when it comes to the older aircraft
its such a fantastic deep layered aircraft. I love the A2A persistant aircraft systems. its like nothing else. really adds so much immersion and makes you want to fly it correctly.
I've ran the A2A B-17G a couple of times, and I must say, it is just awesome! Now's the time I'd go ahead with a more advanced simulation of the likes of "Yankee Lady" with Accu-Sim!
A2A produces some of the most wonderful aircraft for FSX. They're known for their unbelievable amount of realism, including their Accu-Sim. Without Accu-Sim, A2A produces some beautiful airplanes, but with Accu-Sim, your airplane becomes a living, breathing airplane!
@Sting3733 1. They cost 29 bucks. As for the B-17 itself, it costs 32 bucks 2. Yes. Both add-ons are separate and to enjoy the Accu-Sim add-on itself, you will require the original package by A2A Simulations 3. Yes, it is. All systems and dynamics are precision made.
@John92910 It's FSX. And look more closely to the lowe middle of the vid, you can see their URL ;) And I have to say it is worth every penny, as is the P47.
A2A aircraft with the Accusim module will provide the most accurate simulation of the subject aircraft on FSX, only one other company comes close and they don't do pistons! A2A provide a study of the a/c. e.g. record the sound every switch makes in the cockpit and the flight physics are verified by pilots who have flown the type, not programmers who only fly a PC;) Each aircraft is also "persistent", meaning you fly with accrued wear and tear each time you fly. There is much more of course;)
I bought the about 4 months ago but when Im starting the aircraft form cold it will not prime on any engine and when flying the engine are throwing out a black/Wight smoke out off all engins until the fuel is in full rich
Shockwave, I'm experiencing issues with my A2A aircraft. After a few minutes all 5 aircraft (B-17*, Spitfire*, P-51*, P-40*, BF-109) will crash my game. In fact, not 10 minutes ago I was listening to music my B-17 crew picked up at 17,000ft over Detroit and FSX went dead. I do not experience this issue with any other aircraft and I have all of the expansion packs so I have service packs 1&2. Why is this and how can I fix it? P.s. My system uses DirectX 11. *= with accu-sim
2 Questions @ A2A simulations: Sir when do i need to use 91 octeen feul? And what is the Alternate Inverter? When I do I use this 'setting' BTW I bouth this sim and I really, really like this aircraft!!!!!! Greetings from The Netherlands...
I think if you guy's can put the same kind of effort into something like a modern day fighter aircraft it would be the best out there like this simulation. This is a nudge by the way...lol

I can't believe I'm only hearing about this now! It's been eight years, goddammit. That's what you get for only playing DCS.
I've gotta get this! Total thrill of epic portions! Well done A2A !!

Fanstastic - oil grades and oil leaks. Accu-sim is a great concept.

I got this last night, couldn't put it down. Was up till 1 in the morning flying it around.
A bit of extra info for you: the B-17 lasts the longest of the 5, which is roughly 10-15 minutes. The rest only last on average 5-7 minutes.
@John92910
It's FSX.

best plane for FSX ! but i have just one question ... is this plane available for FS9 ? and will it be giving an box version?

I, too, am hoping you make the P-38
Great video cant wait to buy it
Excellent plane; sidenote: would love to see more of the footage shown at 0.34 as well. Anyone know where this is from?

Any chance you will ever make the B-24 or P-38?
wow! this looks unbelievable ...i downloaded this ac last night...pity i have to go to work now :(
The kind of memory used in grafic cards is gddr5 now adays, and i am really lazy with the wrighting. So I ment graphics memory :P
hw to bring up the maintainance hanger, checklist, and the other stuff
Microsoft need to take note and need to implement ALL of this to ALL the aircraft in Microsoft Flight.
I wonder what will happen if these guys make a DC-3.
@DjMarcE2004 well your RAM is a little low, I recommend at least 8GB to be safe
I'm getting a clicking sound in this plane. It's like one of those sound
loop clicks and it gets pretty annoying. Any idea on how to fix this?

What game is this for ?

One question, i need to buy the Flight simulator x (on steam) too to play with this b17, or i just need to buy the B17 on A2A site?
How do I bring up the latter '
do not have another page to download it
does it work with mac
I would love to keep flying this plane but FSX keeps on crashing -_-
yes sir
@xazoulini1 no.
No, because PMDG do that...
P3D Version released!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no for gods sake, fsx is really alot about the cpu, when it comes to gddr its no different between 1gb and 2, his cpu on the otherhand is rather slow
