  • Necessity is the mother of all inventions! I needed a large burnisher for a huge piece I was etching and came up with a new tool to accomplish what I needed! Demo-ed the 3/4" Burnisher!

Hi Roberta! Where do you offer the burnishers? I couldn't find it at Oregon Trails Silver or searching your name. Thank you!

Mike Wilbanks I use Thermal Transfer Paper for PCB circuit board etching that’s sold on amazon but I know a lot of people who have luck with glossy magazine paper ;)

What kind of printer do you need ink jet or laser printer?

Cathy Siegel ALWAYS laser jet! Ink jet isn’t going to transfer your image one ;) the toner in Laser Jet uses a wax based toner - which is what allows you to melt the toner enough to transfer it to your metal. Inkjet is just ink and there’s nothing in it that allows it to adhere to metal ;) hope that helps!
