@@1Spunky sorry. It's called a voice text translator. It was unintended and unnoticed until you mentioned it thank you. Have a wonderful weekend and have a blessed Sabbath:-)
I haven't heard them in years, but there was a time when I heard the trumpets on multiple occasions. I know it sounds unbelievable if you haven't experienced it yourself, but the sounds definitely resembled a long trumpet blast and appeared to come directly from the sky. It was very strange. If I didn't hear it myself, I may be indifferent about it. However I did hear it.
When that trumpet sound, every ear shall hear it. Some of us will run to it and for some of us the sound will be too loud we'll try to cover our ears and run away.
In the devils temptation of Jesus, I think satan was just being facetious, and probably hopeful as well, since Jesus was probably absolutely exhausted, thirsty, tired, maybe even dizzy, and hungry after spending 40 days in the desert without food and water, and the devil thought that if he could ever tempt Jesus to bow down and worship him, now would be the time.
I have teenage son who I am struggling with he discovered Daniel O. McClellan. You need to study him but he has followers and he is influencer of the worse kind. He says he loves the Bible but it is not truth and he is a liar and my son believes speaking the gospel truth. Pray for us.

First of all the annual sabbaths weren’t Jewish. Secondly they weren’t nailed to the cross. Jesus instituted Passover and we are to keep it annually as Christians. Unfortunately this is one area that the SDA’s are incorrect.
It was definitely Ham the was cursed. Genesis 9:20-27 20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. 23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness. 24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. 25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
Thank you !! Focus on Gospel The Gospel is Jesus Christ in me who has come as a mediator of New covenant and fulfilled second covenant made with Abraham,Isaac and Jacob. Please see Deut. 30:6 relating to Second covenant. That is why Jesus died and rose again to fulfill His covenant in me meaning to give His life or His mind in me. Hallelujah ^^
Thank you Paster Batchelor.^^ If you do not mind, Please let me know about your e mail. I want to share about name of Jesus, very significant meaning. Thanks in advance.
The only thing else (besides Jesus) that was literally nailed to His cross was a notice Pilate commanded to be put above His head, "This is the King of the Jews". However we, as Christians, no longer sacrifice animals for the forgiveness of sins, nor are we required to keep their feast days, nor honor circumcision. Those Levitical laws (the handwriting of ordinances) were figuratively nailed to His cross. Col 2:14
Hey I know you guys worship on Saturday but do you have another service on Easter Sunday? Or do you celebrate it on Saturday but personally celebrate it on Sunday? It seems (and forgive me if I’m wrong) you only observe or celebrate holidays etc that are clearly commanded in the Bible. I’m a Sunday going Christian so I’m at church on Easter anyways but I don’t go to church on Christmas if it’s not on Sunday so I get it if you don’t do anything special as a church on Easter Sunday. Still we do know it was a Sunday Jesus rose and we don’t know the day or date for Christmas. Anyways just curious and sorry for the rambling 😇
HI Godanner, I used to attend a Sunday church & I highly recommend removing yourself from that church & sticking with this church & getting baptized here or at a local sda church. Sunday churches do not abide by God's commandments & to be quite frank, you will not be saved when the Sunday law is implemented which could be any time soon. & I would not wish that on anybody. I beseech u, do not tarry. Hurry before it's too late. Sorry if my comment offends u, I just want people to be saved & if you were me, I would want someone to tell me the truth.
By the way, we only keep the Sabbath which is Fri sundown to Sat sundown. We regard Easter as pagan, but we do not grieve public holidays. For instance, at Christmas time, some enjoy the festivities & decorations. But the focus is on Christ, not Santa Claus.
We worship God every day. Church services are on Saturday because the 4th commandment tells us to rest from our manual labors on that day of the week. And it is to be a "holy convocation" Lev 23:3. It is the best day of the week to gather together with fellow believers in a worship service because we do no work on that day. As far as the resurrection is concerned; there IS NO biblical precedent that Jesus' resurrection is an Exception to the 4th commandment to work 6 days and rest on the 7th, nor any command in scripture to keep that day holy. The only place the word "Easter" is found in scripture is Acts 12:4 and that is a mistranslation. The original Greek word is "pascha" (Passover). Easter actually originated as an ancient pagan celebration of the spring equinox. The Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring and fertility. Even the word itself (Easter) is of Pagan origins. From the German word Ostern, which comes from Eostre, or Eostrae. The bunny rabbit and the egg were her symbols of fertility. There is no command to NOT keep Easter either in honor of Jesus' resurrection. Well, aside from the first 2 commandments that is. And numerous times in scripture God talks about Pagan holidays..... Now, about hanging symbols of the sun god on evergreen trees on Dec. 25th......
The Bible doesn’t command us to observe the birth or the resurrection of Jesus. The SDA church doesn’t do anything special on Sunday for the resurrection and neither do many members in private.

@janetleaman1054 - Yes, not in those words but unless Jesus made a statement to revoke His OT statement, the OT statement remains valid, but the scripture that comes to mind is in Act 10... Verse14 Peter said “But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or UNCLEAN.” WHICH tells us that even after Jesus returned to heaven, the disciples KNEW that pigs and all God labelled as unclean in the OT was still unclean. God does not take back what He has spoken.
Any pastor that tells you. You can eat pork because we are in the New Testament. You have to go and read the clean and unclean animals you can’t eat lobster or cat fish the list is long. And if they say Petters vision what GOD made clean you can eat any animal you want. Do a small experiment ask that pastor for diner and cook a steak , after diner when he ask what kind of meat it was , it was very good. Tell the it was a New York rat. And watch the puke.
Wait. Then what do you with the next verse? 15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” Peter saw every type of animal in the sheet. Seems clear to me everything is okay to eat now. Not saying everything is healthy of course. But pork is okay. Any food is okay. Seems clear to me.

How long it too long? How short is too short? If everyone around has hair no longer than 1in, then my 2in long hair is long by comparison. If everyone around me has hair down to their waists then my mid-back length hair is short.... Where does it say in exact feet and inches what the standard should be? I think you are using society's standards for what is long vs what is short. How do you know what the biblical standard is? John the Baptist (a Nazarite from birth, like Samson) never cut his hair. Do you think God disapproved of them? I think Jesus also was a Nazarite from birth. Mary was given the command (from Gabriel) to not drink wine or strong drink. The same things that were said about John the Baptist and Samson.
Have to keep things in the right perspective. On the flip side African women have a different hair type which doesn't lend itself for long flowing hair (a "feminine trait"). Their hair is tightly coiled and naturally short, but it doesn't make them any less of a woman. Some women do wear elegant head coverings just for this reason so that they aren't misjudged for having short hair.
