About the guitar, I've never played nylon strings. It's beautiful and sounds great.

How was this recorded? One mic? Fretboard looks pretty wide too. Very clear tone at all frequencies too. String tension looks good. Nice demo.
Thank you, badass! This was: Neumann TLM 103 into a Golden Age Project Pre-73 and into Logic. Yeah, the neck width is almost right in between standard electrics and classicals, so you can really go between the two right hand techniques.
I'm just curious Gretchen. Does the neck need to be so wide? Can they customize guitar necks for people with smaller hands? Or would that sacrifice sound quality?

Ha! You're hilarious! The wide neck on classical guitars is because of the right hand technique. This Cort is between a typical electric width and standard classical width... so it really feels like the right balance for both picking and classical right hand technique. My hands are pretty small, so if I can do it, I think just about anyone can!
Beautiful sounding guitar. Would love to hear your thoughts on how it compares to the Furch guitars.
They are both great in different ways. The Furch is lighter and has a less lacquered texture. This one feels substantial and the attention to detail is immediately evident. Both are impressive instruments, especially for the price point. This Cort leans more toward classical width (and therefore classical right hand technique) than the Furch.

Supreme...Sometimes it's easier to interpret than respect the author as you do. I hope to see you in a tour in Italy as soon as possible. But I am not positive about. It's the worst period ever.
I so appreciate that! It is a delicate balance, right? One wants to brings something new to a piece, to somehow justify even doing it, yet any piece I want to cover is because I'm a fan of the original version, and therefore always want to be respectful.
