How to make a trug

We're getting ready for harvesting some of our crops and what better to carry things in than a trug, this is a simple thing to make and it can be made out of scrap wood or even a pallet.
I've made a few of these now and in different styles and I always enjoy the process of sorting out the wood so it's more workable, this one is made from an old shelving unit.

That’s a really nice project for some old shelves to new true!
With the handle tucking out of the way you could do a neat set of 3 that nest together.

One tip, when there are lots of pieces that need the same operation (eg drilling the pilot holes in all the slats) then lining them all up to do together makes it really quick 👌
