This is just such a thoughtful and thorough tutorial. This might sound strange, but I love the *kindness* with which this was done--the consideration that people watching might not already know what a rabbet is, or how to safely position/secure a board for cutting with a jig saw, etc. Thank you so much, this seems like a great project for a novice-ish woodworker. :-)
I love to see you conserving materials, recycling, reusing. I've noticed you also use a lot of the old farmer's ideas. They knew how to appreciate and conserve materials! Happy homesteading.
Thanks for using minimal tools that most people will have AND the easy to understand instructions. I usually make firewood on wood projects but I believe I can make this now.
Would you tell me what size , length and width and what kind of wood to use? Also have you thought of using landscape fabric covered with green covering to prevent rusting?

This is perfect, thank you.
I think I’m going to build this at my school for a woodworking project. 😊

Wonderful video, thank you ❤
Thank you, I'll be making one for my wife as a gift!
Thank you for this! I've been pricing hods online and they are surprisingly expensive, $40 - 50 for decent size one. Stay well!
This is great
You said your wood was 2 feet long. How wide is it?
You suggested oak plywood . Which width?
Thank you so much
Beautiful
Greg, do you have a printable template for the ends and the two long side pieces? If so would you share where I can find them?
By chance do you have a template of the two side pieces?
Think I'll use the design but make it a tad bigger
On the garden basket what are the dimensions
Sorry on wire

Your beard remind me of gandalf sir
Or purdy much anyone who can’t shave.
Seems you might have a daughter? I saw the fashionable toe nail 😂
Can you make some or do you sell any?
Watch at 2x speed. You're welcome.
