    I bought it today, tried it on course. I had shivers on my skin while hitting it, felt the same way 2 month ago when I got hold on the original one mini driver. Thank you Taylor made and every one involved into the creation of this golf course destruction weapons

    I like the compact head - it would definitely make the shortlist to try out if in the market - I like that their is a real distinction between M5/M6 - only a club fitting could separate them

    I like the draw/fade adjustability, but of course it comes with a higher price; and a sole design that would be a dirt and grass trap...

    The M3 Fairway worked better for me over the m4. Good thoughts, even though I’m a 12 handicap

    Out of the m5 and m6 which picks the ball up easier off
    the fairway

    I play the m3 fairway 15°. Love it. That m5 looks great too but not enough to tempt me away.

    interesting review Andy. I must admit that I have been underwhelmed so far with the many reviews of the M5 & 6 Drivers, there seems little advance over the previous models. So it's good to hear that you like this 3 Wood so much. I would love to find a 3 Wood that I can actually launch off the deck and hit straight, so I my have to pop over to Chester to give these a smack! As soon as I'm allowed LOL

    Failed to mention a key point! The head is Titanium, which will have a huge impact on weight and performance! It will also have a huge impact in the results when testing against the M6 which is steel! Some goods points, but if you're going to review products, review the key features and don t miss them out in my opinion.

    Why did you not mention that its a titanium fairway wood?

    Will we ever see the ball flight?

    The finish on the club range , doesn't look that good on the close up pictures/photos. Would say that's the case ?

    Great video as always. Will the 3 wood come in an HL version? I’m currently playing an M1 HL 3 wood. I love it. I am not at all put off by the new look of the adjustable weight. I like the new look much better than my M1. I’d definitely give this some consideration if I can convince my wife of the need for a new club! 😂😂

      I have that club as well. It would be hard to beat the M1 HL 3 wood. I have mine set at 17° (FYI ° mark is made by press & hold ALT, then typing 248) which is basically a 4 wood or strong 5 wood. Plays well out of the rough and has a great shape. I don't fiddle with the adjustments. I just measued the locations they are set at in case they moved on their own.

    Does anyone know if these tensei orange shafts are real McCoy or just mass produced made for crap for the M5?? Price is high so I hope not??

    • @richardt3744
      @richardt3744 5 лет назад

      From what I've read it's a TaylorMade exclusive shaft. It's a Tensei mass produced... not necessarily crap though.

      theres a regular tensei series and then a tensei pro series. These are the regular tensei which is completelh different than the pro. The pro is low spin, low launch while the regular orange is mid/high launch and mid spin. Lighter weight too

      in the US they offer the pro model, which is an additional $250 upgrade! i was told UK won't offer this shaft as a Custom upgrade. :( So sadly just the mass produced shaft
