The best thing about this game is after pretty much every boss battle, when Snake defeats them, he shows them respect by listening to them in their final moments. Even Psycho Mantis had a conscience when Snake dropped him.
it makes sense, if there are no heroes in war, then it stands to reason that there are also no villains either
I mean that would be the smart thing to do getting all the information you can from the enemy

The voice acting in this game was way ahead of its time and very much holds up well by today's standards....an incredible achievement for a Playstation 1 game.

Man these bosses really have some deep touching backstorys in the end, Really shows you how well developed this games story is, Can't say the same for the graphics tho, But that's what Twin Snakes is for.
Twin Snakes sucks ass tho. The lighting, the voice acting, the gameplay. Even graphically, I get disgusted by the almost fake looking environment

I seriously think MGS1 has the best voice acting. Each voice actors/actresses sounds so fitting to their characters.

My all time favorite game. I still pull out the ps1 and play it through every 3 years or so. Nothing will ever beat it in my opinion. Took me like 26 hours the first time when i was like 9 years old. I can beat the entire two disc game in 2 hrs 16 minutes now. Crazy

If you run to the right far end you can use the nikita missle launcher to beat her far easier
Then Liquid reveals his real plan and this fight makes no sense.
Yeah it's kind of weird I mean they want to interrogate him for how to use the pal key for one and yet she tries to kill him as the others did.
Also, they need snake alive to use the pal key to be tricked into activating metal gear rex since Meryl who gave it to him didn't know how to use it. Along with the fact they couldn't get the Darpa Chief's code though they got Baker's.
I guess they need to be convincing and with have some sacrifice of their men involved otherwise snake would just go home or never even come there in the first place.
Listen, if you wanna use logic to analyze Metal Gear's story you're gonna have huge problems

If you catch her when she's running between the trees, shoot the tree in front of where she runs, she will double back and go toward the other tree, then shoot that tree, she will double back and go for cover again. If you repeat this, she will run back and forth like a duck in a shooting gallery. 🤣I used to love doing that.
I use the guided Nikita missile to cap her azz! When I enter the
snow field, I fire one off and follow the low point to find her waiting
for me. I never took the time to look for the sweet spot to use the
sniper rifle. I know it's just a video game, but Octagon loved her, and
she chose death over love. It's what she wanted in a video life, same
as being in the real world. I knew a woman who chose to die when her
marriage failed. She jumped off a 4 floor parking garage at a local
hospital where her husband who had left her worked. I worked with her,
and found her a very sweet person, very, very shy and vulnerable. The last
time I saw her, she was so wasted, they had her in a wheelchair while
someone picked her up. The saddest sight, seeing her with her head down
in that wheelchair. She had too much to drink to try and forget her marriage,
but that didn't happen. The f#%king media hounded her sister for a comment.
Totally tasteless to have done so. Like she knew the reason, when the only
answer was severe depression. That was a no brainer.

Pulling a ocelot smart and fast shooting on sniper fire love that about you . Here is a hint when she comes out hit her while she is hiding select the medical hand from shaking while in full health put the aim toward the place she is hiding and wait . But hit her once then let her hide and do it again until the end . Is a thought in mind but don’t waste ammo doing multiple hits always follow her by scope is a waiting game to see who gets first shot off . That’s the way I played it .

@@Mario_N64 They're VERY rare. Blonde hair or lighter brown isn't extremely uncommon in Syrians, but for Kurds it's quite rare. I just accept that Shinkawa and Kojima probably designed the look of the character before giving her a backstory. Either that, or they don't know know what a typical Kurdish woman looks like. 😂

In any given Middle Eastern country, I'd say "European looking" people make up less than 20% of all those countries combined. Fact is, most look Arab/Mediterranean. Dark eyes, olive-dark skin and hair, larger noses. It's just fact.

Honestly I never got why people were saddened by her death. Good riddance!
It’s sad because it shows being a soldier was all she ever knew. It’s sad that even as a child, she had to fight for her life day in and day out by force. Her country was under siege and if you didn’t fight, you were gonna die. Thats the sad part about everyone in the game outside of Otacon and Meryl. They all only knew what it was like to be soldiers and killers because of what they were born into and didn’t have a choice in the matter. Whether it was the three brothers being bred to be soldiers, or mantis being messed up in his childhood or the reveal about Gray Fox, who was also taught by big boss, had killed Naomi’s parents. It’s sad that all they know is how to kill. And for none of them it was by choice. It’s also why Snake can relate to them and sees them all as equally respectable opponents. He doesn’t see himself any better than his opponents. I’m sure he also could relate with Wolf the most.

Growing up on this and actually studying shit, I came to respect what a "Kurd" is and that's not just a Kurdish person. When an immigrant guy here kept claiming he and his family were Kurds, I corrected him that there were no way that an actual Kurd would run away from their home country.
