3:26 the reason the Pixel looks like it tske so much longer is because the "more light" option is on by default and it slows down the process so draw in more light. If you shut that option off you can take photos just as quickly as the iphone. Kind of odd they didnt do that in the review to make it a fair comparison.
I am not sure "much more" is anything other than hyperbole. I would say that performance is so much better on the iPhone, and in 3-5 years' time, I know which one will age like a fine wine and which will have a vinegary taste.
The iPhone is clearly the better phone in most metrics. By the end of the year, it will have similar AI, and of course, you can get much of Gemini AI on an iPhone anyway. As they are priced the same now and have no great deals as with previous Pixels, this is the first year I have not bought the newest Pixel (I usually pass on my older ones to nephews). People will see with Android 15 that battery life and thermals are similar to those of the Pixel 9, so upgrading from the Pixel 8 is throwing good money away. Based on my record, I could not buy a Pixel for more than a year or two, as they have aged poorly. My main phone is an iPhone 15PM, and I still have 13PM and 11PM all going strong, which I use for various scenarios. So, I am a user who has tasted both for many years and would strongly recommend the iPhone, especially for performance, efficiency, and future-proofing.
I agree. I currently use the base pixel 7. It's been a well device but at times has frustrated me with the modem . I like the software and it fits my needs for real world use. But I also acknowledge that iPhones have a reputation of aging well as it gets major os support for many years. It's durable and reliable. But of the two softwares , I prefer pixel. Tho iPhones have a track record of long software and being more durable . Has better resale value great chip , etc. I don't really care at all for blue , green , purple, orange whatever color bubbles . I want to choose pixel but this time around my next upgrade might have to be based on what I need and not what I want . So perhaps the next upgrade will be iphone 16 pro max. But I can't say I'm enthusiastic about my potential decision.
Bro It's not 2018-19. Pixel was better back then.but now iPhone is way better in photography than Pixel. Look, you can't even take portraits on pixel with the optical lens lmao😆
You have missed the news that Google peaked early with computational photography and has been static in the last three years, whilst rivals have caught up and surpassed them.
This reviewer is trying to be unbiased but it's not doing a good job at it. You can tell he is all about the iPhone. He can't completely commit to giving a win to the pixel on any photo.
@@brahney1439 nope bro.iPhone generally uses the best material of its time.13,14 pro comes with stainless steel which is way expensive than aluminum that is used on the Pixel 9 pro.

Saving up me coins for the Pixel 9 Pro+.
Can't go wrong with the iPhone neither.
Both great phones!!

Decent review but the summary is overly simplistic. Both these phones are more nuanced. The Pixel is demoted to am AI phone when it does so much more

Every single Pixel photo is better, yet this guy shades to Apple. $$$$$$.
They were down to personal preference for the average user, who, 99%, does not care about technical differences or zooming in for a micro-analysis.
I have a pixel but honestly do you think Apple needs to spend money on RUclips sponsorships?
The biggest problem of the Pixel is its hardware. Seriously, for the price they’re asking for it, they should’ve put a better chip 😭
Apple meat riding is real @@Channel-eo7op
Just a little slower to accept, just like pixel. 😂😅

My gf's 15pm is overheating and breaking on her. Horrible over priced phone
the iphone 16 is just the 16 but with different camera positions and more buttons at least google is trying to be different with their pixel line

Pixel display also goes down to 1 unit. Please do not report misleading facts.
That is true. Even my Pixel 8 Pro goes to 1Hz now, though I think that was added, as I can't remember it doing that a year ago.
Its about brightness, not frequency. Learn some tech before commenting.
He just gave photography to iPhone lol. Now I remember why I don't watch this channel
You must not watch a lot of channels then.
Its not 2019.. Pixel had the lead in photography and wasted it focusing on AI.

2024 still no decent mp3 player on Android, sad. I'll stick with Samsung.
Pixel #1
Who on earrh takes 5x portraits? Every recuew ive seen they go on about this like its a thing? 1 im every 5000 shots maybe?
I do it’s a fantastic shot

Pixel doesn’t look like a 1200$ phone. It's look cheap. Google should use titanium and slimmer bezels on their top tier flagships
So the iphone 14 and 13 and all iphones before 15 look cheap too as they don't have titanium and slim bezels 😅

New car prices have escalated more rapidly than phones in the last decade, making new cars unaffordable for many individuals.
