President Xi's motorcade diverts after Biden passes protesters in San Francisco

- Disorder breaks out prior to the departure of President Xi Jinping from the USA, forcing his motorcade to be diverted. However, President Biden's motorcade remains on route as it passes crowds of protesters and supporters, before he departs aboard Air Force One.
Both the President of China and the President of the United States were attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in San Francisco. They had engaged in a number of meetings during the week. There were large protests present at San Francisco International Airport as President Biden departed. Additional police and sheriff agencies had to respond in riot gear to maintain order. Several people were arrested, and medical personnel had to respond due to several people who were assaulted.
The motorcade of the US President consisted of the usual US Secret Service and White House units, along with state and local law enforcement. The President of China departed on a Boeing 747 with Air China. The video would have shown his motorcade consisting of the Hongqi Stately Limousines, had it not been diverted. I am amazed that these people are shouting to Free Tibet. These protestors are exiled Tibetans who are descendants of those who left Tibet in 1959 with the 14th Dalai Lama. How can they shout to Free Tibet when they were not born nor have seen or stepped foot into Tibet? Tibet belongs to the six and half million Tibetans living inside China who are Chinese citizens, not these inconsequential sad losers.

Sorry but we were not paid but we came to protest out of our own will and for our country, Tibet which was forcefully invaded by CPP. Even if I was not born in Tibet, my mother was born there. Me and many Tibetan youngsters who were born outside still have so much patriotism and will to fight for our country. We were there to let Xi jinping know that we Tibetans outside Tibet are voice for the voiceless Tibetans that he silenced and those young children that he’s sending to colonial boarding school to make those young Tibetans stranger to their own culture and language

After they were conquered, they were forced to learn a common language (mandarin) and can now do trade and unite as a much stronger country. Unfortunately, your mother didn't tell you the truth. Tibet has been a part of China for hundreds of years. This was recognized by all international treaties after WWII. The central Chinese government reformed the Tibet local government after 1950. Many people fled Tibet because they were old landlords, old local officials, or temple priests who feared being brought to justice. Those people (your mother's family may be one of them) had private jails, army, or even court. They treated ordinary Tibetan people as their slaves. They even kill poor people in their private jails. I don't think people like you or your mother care about Tibetan people, you just hate the Chinese government because they took away your privilege over other Tibetan people. @@tenzinchoetso-in5zf

It is almost impossible to travel to Tibet. Must get a China Visa and then get permission from China to go. I don't believe China would ever give permission to a Tibetan living outside of China to go to Tibet. Anyone else that has ever posted anything on social media against China would never be given permission and may be detained and possible disappear. I am not Asian but I would never consider going to China.

Sorry to break it to you. Maybe you were raised in a different environment or generation, and you're free to have your own sense of identity, with all due respect. But if you were raised in Asia, or HK in particular, you would understand why the Hong Kong people have such a strong sense of territorial identity, and they have their own definition of ethnicity which is very distinct from the Chinese. If you're talking from a genetic perspective, then sure most of them have Chinese heritage. But keep in mind not all HK people are Chinese descendants, including myself. We can't identify ourselves as Chinese, and we also don't associate with the heritage of our ancestors as they've been in HK for generations. HK has become its own ethnicity in the recent decades of inter-ethnic mixing. You might think it's sad to see disagreements amongst the "same ethnicity" of people but they're really not the same. Just as some people think all Asians are the "same people". I think for the most part, they just want to get their message out while we all enjoy the freedom we have here in the US. And the CCP flag doesn't represent the principles we live by. It has nothing to do with ethnicity.

But these people are physically living in the US, and welcoming a communist leader at the same time, the very one they escaped from. Do you see the irony?
