Its a Bit Lesser than Ancient and Medieval History.As We see from year papers, Various acts passed before the independence are asked and Also Soem other Types of questions Which we can understand by analysing previous Question. If we read Modern History, There are Higher chances that you will be Able to do it in the prelims. But Coming To Ancient and Medival, Medival Is sometimes not asked and Sometimes Asked. From ancient history, Culture questions are asked more which Cant be found With sufficient Matter in NCERTs or any other book. So Ignoring anything Is dangerous. Modern history is important and easy if you Check the the kind of questions asked every year from it. Ancient and medival History Should also not be ignored for Prelims. Read everyhing.

If someone asks a pertinent question, I do my level best to reply. But I'm not constantly looking at all the comments coming in as that would be too distracting. I usually do this in one go every 2-3 days. First comment, due to its speed and the fact that you're usually around when a video is going live, usually gets a response. Plus the medal is a cheeky way of saying you've won internet brownie points.

If we completed its reading once or twice and now is that right to skip it or change to other book
Keep in mind that you can do the 2024 edition too, just that you would be spending a lot more time than absolutely necessary.
