This is the kind of content I wish I had more of when I was growing up. As a kid I always had learning difficulties and struggled tremendously with simple tasks at school. Although I did fine in subjects like languages and arts, I never could get a grip on hard science and technial things, like mathematics and physics. There were few activities in my free time that I could sink my energy into and replenish my motivation, but now that I have this, I feel I can do anything. Thank you Silv, this is truly content that moves me, and I hope to take its lessons with me in all my future ventures. Godspeed and god bless you, kind regards, Jeren

Thank you for a very cool update, Silvarret. This is one 72 year old who really enjoys this game and finds it very therapeutic. A great 3D doodling creation and stress reliever.

it would be cool if they added boats that went into ports that the game genarates and have airships that land in bits of grass and both ship and airship can vary in size
Boats and air ships would be very cool
I really hope for two additions: either extra blocks for terrain (like rock, beach, greenery) or terrain templates to build on alternatively, and different architecture styles you can apply to your build (maybe Chinese, Persian, Gothic etc.)
a 1's person view to walk around your city would be awesome especially if they add in villagers for ambiance.

This game is so cool. You should make a planet coaster/ parkitect park inspired by this style. Not necessarily the floating castle because I know you did the amazing Volvara

I absolutely love this game but I think it could be taken to the next level so much if they added an option to start on grass/land and included a road building type

A cool update could be that you could make a world code or something like that so you can share your worlds with others and they can explore it on their own device :o

I have no idea what this game is about, but GOD DAMN, it is beautiful
this game has so much potential for example they should add WALLS with the option to click and drag for long walls .2nd customized building like a police station, post office, bakery, town center, mini mall, school.....(10 buildings max) and to push it further an option to click on a house and choose who lives there (kids,parents, grand parents) you can choose 1 parents with 2 kids and 3 grand parents or whatever u like + customized looks (hair style and color/skin color/clothe) and to go even further another option to write backstory for each one of them (where they work or go to school, who r their friends etc...) and after addinf their job or school they can automaticaly start going out to their destination

If you make a floating island with a symmetrical hole in the middle it adds some sort of helium balloons or possibly lifeboats instead of fans on the inside

Natural rock formations would be also a nice addition to this game.
You should build a giant castle on a floating island and then down on the water below the castle you should build a massive city
actually you can have multiple propellers on one castle
i wanna get this game but i wish there was more building type variation. It would be fun to build castles.
lovely! it's such a simple game and yet i can never make anything look as cool as you do.
an opinion if you want it: i would prefer if you released these as a single video for each build. even if you didn't voice over them, i like the idea of 5mins of silv content for when i'm in a hurry and this seems like the perfect opportunity :)
Can you make 2 giant circle cities and connect them with a piece between 2 buildings? Or will that unbalance them?

Wow, I just discovered townscaper and I already want to get it. It looks like a good, satisfying, time passer.
I only wish they added different types of tiles such as grass, bush, tree, mountain etc. That would really spice up the creativity of this game.
Id like to be able to build in between sea and land - there could be sea bank and ability to build under the land

01:00 Studio Ghibli is said with a hard G, mate; it's because of the H after the G means that you don't get to convert the G to a J sound, that's how it works in English and Italian, where the name is from. But I knew how to say it decades ago from talking about those films with other fans, and they all say it that way too, so I guess you haven't really talked about anime much with other people or watched many videos about it. Art-style does not remind me of SG, personally, but there you go.
It's pronounced with the J sound because that's how it's pronounced in Japan.

My grid is different ... I have studied it at length... no circle in the middle and NO way to make the flying islands... It is frustrating ! I only purchased this a few days ago.. they changed something between this video and the version I got. : (

Hey Silvarret, just wanted to make a suggestion for your channel. You don't have any playlists for your videos, as far as I can tell they are fan made. I think if you made playlists officially you'd get more views here since people could simply click your channel, click playlists, and have access to all the content from the variety of games you play. I know personally that's how I find similar content when I like a video/youtuber and want to see their backlog. Might be a bit boring to sift through everything, but I think it would benefit you in the longrun. Just a suggestion, hope you are well!

Hey it's an old video but I just discovered this kind of content for a game I bought years ago and just always played casually. Now thanks to you I see we can do so much more with it and I want to do it too! But I have tried building floating cities and I just cannot. I have been looking in the grid but I don't have those shapes, not the circular ones nor the square one. Is it possibile I have an unupdated version? I bought it a lot of time ago through Steam, but I can't find out which version is the one I have installed nor which one is the latest one. Anyone can help?
I think you need to update! Might work if you uninstall and reinstall the game.
