Hello! Tiny Glade devs here 👋 Thank you so much for giving the game a try, and making such a beautiful castle 🤩 We took notes from your playthrough, and will tweak a few things before the full release. Thanks again! It was super fun to watch you play! Have a good day 💚 - Ana & Tom
I'm sure the game will be a success! A theme park builder with these building mechanics would be so cool. It's the perfect mix between hand building and generated details.
same i have never seen a game with building tools that are this good and user-friendly at the same time. More people should be talking about this game because the mechanics are actually very ahead of it's time, i've never seen anything like this (and something like this is what i have been looking for for years btw)
I'm abslutely shocked of how easy it is to create something that looks good! This is an extremely well made game and the way you interact with the world feels SO good!!
You cant really hear it in the video but the sound design is absolutelty phenomenal too! Every single thing you do in game sounds like something out of an asmr video.
As a a survival minecraft player this seems like a really cool way to create your own building references. I dont really like creative mode, and building a building in creative before copying it into your survival world just isnt for me, but i could totaly see myself building it here as a reference for my world. The game looks rlly cool n i cant wait to check it out :)
I think just adding a "cinematic" mode where little people and animals walk around paths and go in doors (or look out windows) would be good. Then people can look around and enjoy what they made for a while. Who doesn't like clicking on a little duck and hearing a quack?
The weird thing about Neuschwanstein is that in German it's not even called a "castle" and yet English people call it that way. Germans differentiate between "Burg" and "Schloss; a "Burg" is a militarized castle with an economical purpose, whereas the "Schloss" is only intended for royals to live in and to show off their wealth. So your castle would be called a Schloss too. Nice video, definitely going to check out the game myself!
@@Illuminat-ve5ueseconded. We have a Schloss in our 500 people village. It looks like a big house with a fancy garden and nothing more - definitely not what an English speaker would mean by palace 😅
It would definitely be difficult for the inside to work well with the system but at least walking around outside is always something I’ve wanted in townscaper and this game
The game looks like it will be a very nice stress reliever, relaxation time game. Very pretty, and the UI is very well done. Intuitive and good looking.
this is so satisfying. imagine something like this, but for theme parks. it would be absolutely amazing to have building tools like this in games like Planet Coaster, imagine how artsy all the parks would look
There are so much little details in this game that makes it super satifying! And great video Silv, I was afraid the timelaspe would not convey the gameplay properly, but it was actually enjoyable to follow. I love that there's a snap function, along with absolute freedom.
Thanks! Just double speed works pretty well I think. And for sure, the mechanics are super user friendly! It'll be tough to move back to planco/planzoo building...
@@Silvarret You know, I posted this video in BroNation saying that's what I would want for Planco 2 to be. Imagine this half procedural system for all the themes! (and still the possibility to pick the pieces individually). But that would be awesome, and also help the casual player that don't want to bother so much with buildings. That's how modern games work!
What a helpful and fun video to watch! This game has been on my wishlist since I first heard of it a couple months ago, but it's cool to hear someone describe in detail the mechanics and features of this game that are designed to make it feel intuitive/simple, and showcase some of the ways those features interact. I hope they add more cute little animals like the sheep and options for creating ponds and stuff, too! I also liked your tangents about the forms/functions of castles :) I can't wait for this game to release. In addition to enjoying the standalone game, I think it will be such a helpful tool for brainstorming/drafting builds for minecraft! :)
This will be revolutionary for planning out builds for games like Enshrouded and Minecraft, and whatever else may come. I cannot wait for Tiny Glade. This is excessively cool.
this game seems absolutely FANTASTIC for architects, diy designers, minecraft builders, scale-modeling and many more that want to plan out designs. if this game expands on how much space is avaliable and materials, i bet it could become super popular as not only a cozy game to play, but may also be very useful!
The mechanism that makes each architectural element cleanly blend into other elements dynamically, is called "Wave function Collapse." For those curious.
Would be awesome to see that kind of building mechanics in survival games. At first, you build what you want your base to look like, and then you only need to gather resources.
This is one of the best builds I’ve seen yet! I can’t wait to get my hands on this game’s demo, and I can’t wait to see what you do with the full release!
I was thinking "wow this would be so cute with a moat around it or a pond nearby", and then I spotted that there's an option for it at the bottom of the screen for the full release! Thats going to be so so cool if it works the way i think.
If you want a game that is basically this game but with city management look up: Foundation. It will have a full release out of early acces in the comming weeks/months. But its already very complete and has tons of mods aswell.
This is a great build and such a cool game - feels so inspiring. Keep up the content, really enjoy the vibe of your channel, and would love to see more videos on this game in the future! 👀
I found out about tiny glade and thought the dude who made floating castle in planet coaster would make a hell of a castle with this game. So I search for the volvara videos up again and to my luck you’ve already played it!
man I know its supposed to be a relaxing building game but id so love to build a castle, then have to defend that castle from some kind of npc attack, and implement little traps and stuff to defend the building, it would just add a whole other layer of fun imo
Awesome stuff! If only there was a themepark builder which used this system of building eh? So much easier than having to fit every bit and piece together yourself. like in planet coaster and zoo! Oh well, who knows what the future holds :)
Oh! Do remember!, Castles were built for Monarchy as much so as they were designed for Military purposes. Before the great wars, many ornament royalty castles certainly existed. Same with lords houses. I remember reading this old conversation written between an architect and a comman fellow and it basically wore down to this "why do you have a castle wall where no one may stand." "That is an embellishing of a castle, not the very fortress itself." Alluding to someone designing a building to look like a castle, versus that being it's very use. Usually an outside parapet repeating block pattern for archers (and the symbol of religion) being added like a detail to the side of a wall, hinting at it's specific unique design. Neuschwanstein castle is an example of taking elements of a castle. Also a symbol of it's tribute and culture of castles being a symbol of royalty and the rich. I know..symbolception.
imagine if there was a phyiscally simulated septic tank under the castle and you had to pay a little nasty goblin to come and pump out the poops every few years

love the game❤
as a fellow 3D artist, I LOVE the textures you guys did!! The art direction is also very solid, I'm sure this game will explode very quickly!
Will the game be purely creative or will it have some challenges?
I'm sure the game will be a success! A theme park builder with these building mechanics would be so cool. It's the perfect mix between hand building and generated details.
:) Might just be exactly the game that saves my life today...
As a very casual gamer, I don't run across a lot of "shut up and take my money" games. This is one of those rare exceptions.
I have high hopes for this game. I love this game style, starting from coaster building games in the 1990s, to this. Both great mind you.

I WANT TO EXPORT THAT AND 3D PRINT IT. GET ON IT DEVS 😂
Yes! I love how Townscaper gives you a built-in .stl exporter
that would be pretty cool!
The demo does have a built in feedback feature. Maybe you can suggest it there

Just a few more days until demo release! I’m pumped!
Same here! I keep staringly longingly at my wishlist entry for Tiny Glade every time I look through it!
The demo is out now if you want to give it a try!
It’s amazing that whole build only took a half hour. So much detail in this game. I’m going to be sinking hours into just the demo.
I would love to see them releasing it as cozy game but going on and releleasing it in a few years as fully fleshed out simulation game.
I hope it inspires other creative games to also pick up similar procedural generation mechanics. Huge potential!
Honestly, I like it the way it is
@@glompert7390 I did not say they have to change it, I've said they could make a fork after they've finished it

These chateaus were popularized in the 14th century, so it was a lords house truly/essentially. Great points.
