I just received my FARMMAC F380 today, first thing that I found is it is very hard to pull the rope, very high compression, will be putting on that other handle, LOL Also the gas cap leaks, still trying to figure out what to do about that. Runs great, but I did order it with the bar and chain, but they did not come with this package, and no indication that they have been shipped, will try to contact the seller and find out what is going on.
Just received my saw today. This exact saw but it came with a wrap handle. Completely surprised me. The Amazon description didn't list one. Its awesome. Great looking saw.
@majorpixchannel7146 says f380w on the badges, has a rounded filter cover instead of a squared off one like the 660. If I could post a picture here I'd show you.
@@majorpixchannel7146I also received one with a full wrap handle from Amazon but it wasn’t the w version it was the black and grey version. Been an awesome saw so far.
Good evening! I recently finished building my “$50 chainsaw mill” as designed by Izzy Swan on his YT channel. But it was your videos that committed me to purchasing this Farmmac F380 chainsaw and it was delivered today. The fit/finish isn’t spectacular, but it seems solid and ready for action. I did smell a little gas in the tank so I’m guessing they probably run it for a test. I was looking at drilling holes into the bar to mount it solidly, but the orange base is removable and I’m thinking I can come up with some longer screws to mount it to a base, saving the bar. I love that Norwood you’re working with. I have the same size trailer too, so that’s a thought. Thanks for your channel. It’s inspiring.
That is really cool 😎 and thank you for the kind words, sir! True enough, there was a Bach of those that the fut was not as good as it should have been! The top cover hole is drilled just off 2mm on the starter side, closest to the trigger! They are very solid saws 👀 glad you like it! The 380/381 is by far my favorite saw in the clone world! Let me know if I can be any help! Be safe 🙏
@@majorpixchannel7146 Thanks again for introducing me to the Norwood. I had never heard about them before. I also appreciated the advice on the bar length when you mentioned that the 25" can vibrate a little outside of the log. I'll have to adjust the log position once I start since my bar is 25". Do you prefer the ripping chain or the standard 30-35 degree?
@BidenLikesMinors you are welcome sir 🙏 So I prefer granberg ripping chains www.granberg.com/ However, I use full chisel as well... and when I sharpen.. I take a little at a time in the 10% angle! Lol, that way, I don't waste any tooth lol. I'm cheap
@@majorpixchannel7146 Hello! I finally got everything assembled and started the F380W for the first time. Took about 4-5 pulls and I ran it for a minute. I turned it off and went back to start it about 15 minutes later and the cord is very hard to pull. It sputters loudly on the first crank around and pulls the cord out of my hands. That hurts. Has this kind of chainsaw behavior ever happened to you? I’ve never had this happen on my Echo.
Truly my favorite saw! It's ported and out runs stock 660s. I also have the farmmac f380 black one! Both really solid saws! The f372 I don't care for! I did a complete rebuild with a Big bore kit and piped! Mean saw now... However it seemed to have timing and fuel issues stock! Im almost positive neo has fixed all the issues with them now! Thanks for watching jonh
Mine is off just a bit too! This was something they was supposed to had fixed. And I very long Time since iv heard of anybody having the issue again. I would bring it to neotecs attion! The part that is off is the top cover bolt holes are drilled off just a bit on the left side! At least that's where the problem was last time. Sorry to hear you were having this problem
I can tell you that it truly does not affect the saw at all. I have several of this exact same saw that are perfect. LOL it's an eyesore. Just wanted to read message you and explain that technically it does not affect the running of the saw at all
@woody s adams any 3/8 pich made for stihl bar will work. And a chain that fits the bar. They come in .63 gauge. 50 gauge!50 being thinner! I run oem stihl bars on my stihl clones. There about 75 for the bar and 35ish for the chain! I also run .63 seems like it helps from getting my bar pinched! Just my opinion! The Neo-tec bars and chains are the next best thing! That 380 is a beast with the 20in bar and chain! But, if needed to it would pull a 36in!

You sure it was the 380 72cc. Sounds like you received the ms660 92çç the bigger saw that looks just like this one

How is that thing holding together? Do you have a farmmac 372 to compare it to?

What would look better than the upside down dog is a set of West Coast 3 point dogs lmao!! All jokes aside bro, that saw is badazzz looking!
Lol fr 🤣 😂 😅 I was sitting at my desk and looked up and was like.... what!!!! Lol
I installed them like that for upside-down cutting Lol 😆 😂 🤣
Nice looking saw. FYI, the inside dog is on upside down.
😆 lol. figured out after I had it hanging on the wall! Good eyes 👀 there sir!

As long as it doesn't affect performance it don't matter if it's a little uneven thanks for the reply.
@@Stonercowboy69 yes sir....

Do you port and modify chainsaw for other ppl ?
Bangladesh ❤️❤️👌👍🇧🇩🇧🇩
i ordered one power head only can you tell me what bar and chain fits in the 20 inch?
Power heads that would fit a 20-in would be 72cc saws, in my opinion! MS380, 381, HUSQVARNA 372XP , 272
THANKS FOR WATCHING 👀 🙂 🙏
Sorry I meant what size and pitch
@woody s adams oh, I see yes it's a 3/8 pitch and 20in 25in work wonderful
