1:53:39 Not a lot of images of Titanic exist as most images attributed to her are pictures of Olympic - this is due to how strikingly similar both ships were in life. In fact, unless you have a trained eye, you couldn't tell them apart - to tell them apart, Titanic has an open A Deck Promenade whereas Olympic's was enclosed. Also, if you're looking at a picture of the Aft Grand staircase (you know the one that flooded), Titanic had two cabins, one of which Thomas Andrews Jr, the ship's co-builder, stayed in during her maiden voyage (cabin A-36). The Olympic had this entire area open and was considered wasted space. Now, onto the film, there happened to been a famous filmmaker on the Titanic sailing back from Europe to New York, his name was William H. Harbeck. Sadly, he died in the disaster and due to him vacated his cabin (Second Class, unknown cabin number) he left his camera in that unknown cabin. Thus leaving any film he may have taken to the ocean floor where in 2022 there's no hope of ever finding it due to the extreme pressure and depth as well as time that passed.
@@thatonerotom8999 Unfortunately, it would not survive the harsh conditions under water for so long; it would have deteriorated by now. We also don’t know what the filmmaker’s cabin was so if it was at the break up point, all his belongings were either scattered in the debris field, or been destroyed. Sadly, the film - if it existed - is completely lost for good

I've never heard of the Hannah Montana anime! What's interesting is I can see how it could've been something really cool, since I really like magical girl shows. Before Toei's show Sailor Moon became such a huge hit and made superhero/tokusatsu works the most common sort of magical girl you would see, there were a lot of different takes on magical girls as a genre. One version that was pretty common was where the magical girl would use her powers to disguise herself (and often even make herself look older), and used this new version of herself to be a pop star. 1983's Creamy Mami is one version of this take. An anime version of Hannah Montana is PERFECT for a take on the "magical pop idol" concept. All you would have to do to make the show feel "anime" would be the introduction of magical transformation powers replacing the wig in the original show. This would even possibly give the anime a chance to capture a secondary audience of people that grew up with and were nostalgic for magical idol shows like Creamy Mami. It's such an obvious idea that I'm sad this anime never actually saw the light of day. If the anime got an English release, it could've made awareness of this genre grow in the English anime fan community, as well as make American fans of the show aware of anime and manga meant for girls (since boy's anime tends to be more well known, despite the demand for anime for a female audience still being high today). That's a big "if" since anime adaptations of American properties don't always get ported back to the USA--for example Powerpuff Girls Z never aired in the USA, even if an English version of the show aired in the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. But it's interesting to think about, nonetheless.
wow, this video is one of the only places i’ve ever seen the cancelled kimba game brought up. as a kid in the early 2000s some of my earliest online activity was going on lion king, kimba, balto, etc fan sites which is where i learned of the cancelled kimba n64 game (i thought i remembered it being a playstation 1 game tho, or at least it having a ps1 version). i was pretty annoyed when i was younger that there were never any kimba video games. (there was one planned forthe NES but that got cancelled as well)
I'm shook that you describe Panic at the disco as taking off in 2015 when I write sins not tragedies is the bands stand out single and came out in 2005 lol
@@LiminalQueenMedia i'm not doubting that, i could be wrong as its really been years since that period and we all know the human memory is somewhat bad. i'm just saying, dont be surprised that many people are gonna say they blew up in 2014-2016 as around that time i remember emo/punk had a revolution in our schools.
I’m about half way through the iceberg so I don’t know if this is here but I might as well mention it. The virtual band, Gorillaz used to have a bunch of games on their website and though most of the smaller ones have been preserved through official DVD releases, quite a handful are lost. The two ones that you’ll usually here about first are the Kong Studios exploration games where you could tour the bands headquarters virtually. You would be able to listen to their music, talk to them, a bunch of cool stuff like that. In lore Kong was destroyed after 2006 or so, so that resulted in us losing the game. Since you could listen to their music here that would make reposting the game illegal I imagine. If you want to tour Kong now you can somewhat of relive the experience with official DVD releases, although this isn’t as fleshed out as the website. The most saddening one was the death of the Plastic Beach web game, in this web game you could explore the enormous plastic beach, you could partake in missions, do tasks for the characters, and you could talk to them (I never played it but this is what I’ve heard and seen). There were two plastic beach games, both are gone and likely haven’t been archived. No DVD releases of this phase exist due to financial and licensing trouble supposedly and we have yet to get any re-releases of any plastic beach game content. It’s possible people who work with the Gorillaz IP behind the scenes have archives of these games but with a nearly 21 year history at this point, it’s very hard to imagine something wouldn’t have gotten lost along the way. For awhile you could find archives of the Kong games but flashes death resulted in those being taken down. I could go down the rabbit hole of Gorillaz games for hours but this is basically the surface level information about these games.
Cricket and clover has always been so interesting to me. As a fan of panic at the disco, id love to hear it. But I doubt brendon or any other of the members from that time would release anything from it. Great video!
I have ny own personal piece of Lost Media that I wanted to talk about here. From what I remember, it was a kids puppet show I watched when I was 6, and I believe it was about taking care of your body or about your organs? I'm not so sure. The last thing I remembered from this was there were two characters that were kidneys with black sunglasses on both of them (I believe it may have been two? Not sure). If you can find this, I really wanna find this piece of (what I consider) Lost Media.
I assume the Titanic section as a whole encompasses any footage of the event but i was expecting a mention of the lost film that featured Titanic survivors still alive
Gotta be lowkey honest right now, call of duty roman wars sounds like a pretty cool concept as I would consider it as a nice break from the cod series taking place either during a time like ww2 and the cold War or just going into missions like getting into the number station and stopping some insane criminal from causing chaos in a town or city and actually taking place in another place in time like the Roman era
55:12 It wasn't I don't remember who (I think it was one of the writers) but it was confirmed that the only scenes that were completed with the original Sonic design were: -the ones on the trailer; -half of the deleted alternative baby sonic scene (seen on the DVD release); -the baseball scene; -and an alternate opening (also seen on the DVD release). To put it into prespective, the Tails post credit scene was ALWAYS in the movie, however the redesigned happend so "early on" into the animation stages that Tails himself was just a bunch of blocks (with no actual design yet)
I know Panic! at the disco had a resurgence in 2015, but it seems weird to me to reference Cricket and Clover album without mentioning the hit "I write sins not tragedies" which was released the year before they recorded the cabin album and may have added pressure to write mother successful song during the recording of the cabin album.
I remember the Assemblergames thread for Sonic X-Treme. I kept up with that thread at the time and came back over and over for updates. I don’t know if the thread is really lost now, but I assume so since the link I used to use seems to be dead, and that’s a shame. Someone there got a disc with some source code, but decided to reconstruct the game instead of dumping it as they wanted the blessings of whoever they got it from and never got that. It was a really interesting thread. It felt like we were so close to getting the game reconstructed or some of it leaked or something but at some point it feels like the search for X-Treme fizzled out.
At least I could turn my volume up to hear him. Some of the others sounded like it was their first time ever speaking out loud and other's microphones hurt my ears.
the fact mean girls ds released the day 9/11 took place was actually strange that a piece of lost media was released the day a terrible tragedy took place.
28:19 aw man, the Power Puff Girls game, and ones like it where you'd wander around the city completing tasks was great. I hope it comes to the surface again - even if just to hear the music from it again. I know for sure that the nostalgia will hit me hard
Whoever did tier 4 desperately needs a better microphone, going from the better Audio to someone that sounds like they're talking into a shoebox is jarring, I just skipped it, but then the next person has an awful microphone and those nasty dry mouth sounds. Drink water dude lol. When you're doing a collaborative thing, you need to make sure the quality is equal across the board, these people might be your friends and I get that, but it's a pain to listen to. Edit just got done watching the rest of the vid and the audio and narrator quality jumps so much from tier to tier that it really blemishes an otherwise decent video.
The Robot Wars 1995 Pilot is currently in ownership of BattleBots co-creator Trey Roski. He and Greg Munson made the robot La Machine. I interviewed them both and asked about the pilot and wether or not it would surface, and Trey said that he has it in his garage somewhere!
The Eletric Piper is one of the best movies I've ever watched and was what got me first into lost media. I remember watching the now defunct Shroomtube Lost Media Mondays video on it and got me into lost media.
i remember my grandma having a copy of princess and the cobbler (the miramax cut) when i was a little kid and one night a couple years ago while tripping balls i stumbled across the artists/directors "unfinished" cut on here and was just taken aback, its such a weird feeling when you find something like that that you didnt even know you had forgotten. literally went on an hours long research binge immediately after finishing the movie
Garfield: the lost levels! This was such a fond memory of mine! Well, Sega channel in general was my favorite part of my childhood. Such an amazing opportunity for early gaming. I would wake up at 5am the morning of the new games dropping. At first, it would be once a month and later, twice a month, 50 new games each time woth some repeats. I distinctly remember the train level of "Catsablanca" in Lost Levels. If I recall correctly it was the first level but my personal favorite and the one which remains a vivid image in my mind. If only there was a ROM to go back and get the nostalgia hit.
I appreciate you linking the channel sources for the music but I would have preferred the song names listed. I think I like this lost media iceberg more than the one that Jorge covered especially with the different narrators and I don't have to worry about too much overly dark stuff involving lost footage of people slowly dying
As far as the Green Day Cigarettes and Valentines album goes. My theory is they didn't lose it, they abandoned the project and started on American Idiot. They have a side project 'Though they claim they are NOT this band' called The Network. Their album 'money money 2020' is the reworked version of Cigarettes and Valentines in my conspiracy.
I really wish more people would know about Homeworld Cataclysm. It's an RTS PC game from 2000 which had its original source code completely lost. Seriously, it would be so great to get it back. But nobody seems to know about it :(
Honestly I’ve never seen any of your content but the title seemed pretty bold so I decided to check it out and I can gladly say it well deserves that title

(there was one planned forthe NES but that got cancelled as well)
I wish so bad we could get the Jimmy Two Shoes pilot released, one of my favorite cartoons of all time. Would love to see it's dark and grim start!
An ultimate collab indeed. All Lost Media RUclipsrs gathered together in this masterpiece. Keep it up. 😁
Where was my invite 😜
No no... it looks amazing mate well done!!!
Next time, my friend. Next time.
I'm shook that you describe Panic at the disco as taking off in 2015 when I write sins not tragedies is the bands stand out single and came out in 2005 lol
fr bruh like dont do daddy Brendon like that 😭😭
i seriously had never heard of panic at the disco until 2015 and i paid quite good attention to the rock scene from 2010-2016
@@1bruce- Your ignorance doesn't change that I write Sins not Tragedies hit no 7 on the billboard top 100 in 2006.
@@1bruce- They sold multiple platinum certified albums within that time frame lol
If I could still play it, I'd just spend most of my time pestering Murdoc
Everyone : "How big is this video going to be?"
Him : "Yes"
Cricket and clover has always been so interesting to me. As a fan of panic at the disco, id love to hear it. But I doubt brendon or any other of the members from that time would release anything from it.
Great video!
i wonder if my dad's side of the family might have any lost media in their possession. they're notorious hoarders.
Underrated video, watched all the way
I have ny own personal piece of Lost Media that I wanted to talk about here.
I know exactly what you’re talking about. I used to be shown those a lot in elementary school. I cannot remember the name of it at all tho
The Organwise Guys sounds like your description. I didn't find a show or anything. Hope this helps!
@@CYNbassist That's exactly what I was talking about! Thank you!
I assume the Titanic section as a whole encompasses any footage of the event but i was expecting a mention of the lost film that featured Titanic survivors still alive
What a coincidence that I was watching the lost media iceberg video by Blameitongeorge when this came out
And they say Avengers: End game is the ultimate colab.
It's crazy that DreamWorks has a WHOLE MOVIE that they just haven't released..
55:12 It wasn't
I don't remember who (I think it was one of the writers) but it was confirmed that the only scenes that were completed with the original Sonic design were:
-the ones on the trailer;
-half of the deleted alternative baby sonic scene (seen on the DVD release);
-the baseball scene;
-and an alternate opening (also seen on the DVD release).
To put it into prespective, the Tails post credit scene was ALWAYS in the movie, however the redesigned happend so "early on" into the animation stages that Tails himself was just a bunch of blocks (with no actual design yet)
Definitely looking forward to that next collab haha. Loved the video and found an awesome channel to boot.
Nice Job on this MASSIVE collaboration!
I find it funny how just 1 week after this video released, another Satelaview game got found
My grandpa worked as the head ground programmer for the Apollo missions. I’m gonna pester him about the lost footage now. Will share results :)))
so?
great video, seen a lot of these you bring a fresh voice to such a great subject. thamkyou. from Scotland with respect.
I don't know if I would consider the stuff that never actually got past the storyboard phase lost media.
The audio quality is kinda inconsistent. I can barely hear LSuperSonicQ 😔
At least I could turn my volume up to hear him. Some of the others sounded like it was their first time ever speaking out loud and other's microphones hurt my ears.
There should be a full fledged search for Egghead, it seems incredibly interesting!
the fact mean girls ds released the day 9/11 took place was actually strange that a piece of lost media was released the day a terrible tragedy took place.
28:19 aw man, the Power Puff Girls game, and ones like it where you'd wander around the city completing tasks was great. I hope it comes to the surface again - even if just to hear the music from it again. I know for sure that the nostalgia will hit me hard
This video cracked my perception of lost media.
Loved the comedic timing on that Moon landing recording section and the president of the BBC
So sick you got some of my favorite people. Crazy you got Jorge, great video!
Well, here's another Lost Media channel that I'm subbing to.
Thanks for the support!
I subscribed too, Seeker
Whoever did tier 4 desperately needs a better microphone, going from the better Audio to someone that sounds like they're talking into a shoebox is jarring, I just skipped it, but then the next person has an awful microphone and those nasty dry mouth sounds. Drink water dude lol. When you're doing a collaborative thing, you need to make sure the quality is equal across the board, these people might be your friends and I get that, but it's a pain to listen to.
Edit just got done watching the rest of the vid and the audio and narrator quality jumps so much from tier to tier that it really blemishes an otherwise decent video.
Chill mah dude. It adds to its charm lol
chill, atleast its still understandable. ur mad over a tiny thing, probably some 34 year old man too
i agree with you. some of these bad narrators make the video unlistenable at times. gotta skip past entire tiers smh.
Ngl, I wouldn’t mind an animated movie with Sting, much like how Phil Collins and Elton John were in their respective Disney movies.
Did you hear "Snuff Out The Light"?
That song is a banger
The Robot Wars 1995 Pilot is currently in ownership of BattleBots co-creator Trey Roski. He and Greg Munson made the robot La Machine. I interviewed them both and asked about the pilot and wether or not it would surface, and Trey said that he has it in his garage somewhere!
Holy shit this is amazing!
So many awesome people in this video.
Pretty cool, but some of the narrators sound like they're talking through a broken AM radio
The Eletric Piper is one of the best movies I've ever watched and was what got me first into lost media. I remember watching the now defunct Shroomtube Lost Media Mondays video on it and got me into lost media.
Finally had a chance to watch this in full, fantastic upload!
Dude this is the friggin Avengers Endgame of Lost Media.
@QTIPMAN 64 Have you ever seen Jim Henson’s Animal Jam?
The greatest colab from someone with only 1K subs
Regarding Egghead, Noam Chomsky responds to people who email his MIT address, try reaching out to him!
i remember my grandma having a copy of princess and the cobbler (the miramax cut) when i was a little kid and one night a couple years ago while tripping balls i stumbled across the artists/directors "unfinished" cut on here and was just taken aback, its such a weird feeling when you find something like that that you didnt even know you had forgotten. literally went on an hours long research binge immediately after finishing the movie
you say panic at the disco rose to fame with death of a bachelor as if i write sins not tragedies wasn't the only song on the radio in 2006
34:54 guyssss, a decade is ten years. it isn't a nonspecific time period like an eon is.
uh, an eon is a million years, also not nonspecific
Yall really assembled the whole avengers of lost media haha! 🤩🤩❤️🔥
Best lost media crossover ever
But nobody seems to know about it :(
Mickey mouse in Vietnam sounds like a shitpost even though it's real
RIP Blue Sky Studios
43:23 I had this movie on DVD, my grandma bought it for me when I was younger. I can't find it now but I remember loving it
What was it about?
@@DuskPShermanWallaby123 it was like a rip-off Aladdin, except the art style was odd but beautiful.
@@Despair_Bunny ooh okay sounds interesting, so it was live-action Aladdin
@@DuskPShermanWallaby123 no like the original animated Aladdin
@@Despair_Bunny no I mean its live action but like the old aladdin

1:48:02 She didn't quit undefeated, Jeopardy champions at the time were limited to 5 games before they were retired
How did I miss this? Great video.
Honestly I’ve never seen any of your content but the title seemed pretty bold so I decided to check it out and I can gladly say it well deserves that title
@Alex Toro Have you ever seen Jim Henson’s Animal Jam?
8:25 all 500k went to Mark Hamill then they realized they still had a movie to make
this is the biggest lost media collab i seen
I know im a bit late but i would like to inform 1:43:51 that macy’s thanksgiving day parade has been found in April of 2022.
Blue's Prints was filmed in 1994 by the way. The creator confirmed it.
1:14:04 _'...would've taken place in the height of Julius Caesar's reign over the Roman Empire'_
...Huh. Well, that's funny, seeing as the Roman Empire didn't _exist_ until *SEVENTEEN YEARS AFTER HIS ASSASSINATION!*
3:11 HUNGERS FOR PERFECTION!
Thank you for letting me be apart of this collaboration ✨
yay!!!!! what a great video :D
it's nice to see all these lost media youtubers in one video
About the 1982 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: Back in late November, I came into contact with someone (I won't say their name for privacy reasons), who knows someone who might have the entire NBC telecast on tape. They know that it's lost, and they're trying to receive the tape
27:08 Don't forget music! Space Queens is a jam.
2 Video ideas
Down the iceberg rabbit hole.
The internet rabbit hole, iceberg.
Awesome work! Epic!
Holy fuck this video is the Avengers Endgame of lost media videos
Gotta say, half the narrators sound like they’re reading their lines for the first time
