    Just for reference, 144.200 is the Single Side Band calling frequency for 2m. The FM Calling Frequency is 146.52mhz.Unless your radio and amp can work both SSB/USB and FM, than you may want to update to the FM calling frequency.

    While your HT is multi band, the amplifier is not. The link you have is for a UHF version and should only be used in those frequencies.

      You are correct I believe we did mention to get the amp in the band you need they sell 3 different ones I think

      @@thebackyardbushcrafters4417 Just pointing it out since you have a label next to the radio with the different frequencies and someone who might not know that, could use it wrong in an emergency.

    This is the SHTF zombie apocalypse type radio, last resort, civilization has fallen. YOU WILL NEED A LICENS TO OPERATE IT. Don't want to get in any trouble... All joking aside, love the setup.
