Snow is generally good, icy in places at the end of the day. What's to be expected this time of year. Just finished my last day of skiing for this year. Three sunny days at La Plagne...
I have just watched your last(Valentine) video and find it interesting that the first, black part of this one looks more or less the same, with respect to Grade% as Valentin but somehow you handled it more easily even though this one was narrower, crowded and in shade. Am I tricked by the Grade% info and/or by the camera and Valentin is in reality more steep than this one or there is something more like the snow condition, skies etc that made the Valentin more difficult to ski than this one? Thanks
Valetin was icy. It's in the lower part of the resort. Snow higher up tends to be in better condition and more grippy. I have no problem with the steepness of Valentin, but when it's icy and my ski edges are not sharp enough, it then becomes very difficult. The reason it was empty, not too many people like those conditions...
Going by the sound on your skis the place has had a fresh covering. Hope it gets some more as I'm going there in 6 weeks.

great snow
Yes, I am planning to go back once everything is open, like the tunnel run...
This is on my list of resorts to visit. Is it as good as it looks in this video, because it looks sensational
It looks better in real life, the Alps are stunning and sometimes I see amazing views that the videos do not do justice..
@@ChasingSnowjust like you, I am also addicted to visiting these places, but too lazy to make great videos like you do
That's more like it! Quiet snow, fast runs, and not too crowded.
Yes, that was a Friday, a bit different on Saturday...
5:36 one of the people lying in the snow on the left is me 😂 we were waiting for a slow skier in our group
That's great... I really like when you see yourself in one of my videos :-) It doesn't happen often...
Holy moly that was a bit fast wasn't it? Passing you like that @5:05
Yes, that's what I thought and think he got a bit close...
