I'm surprise about how useful the spinning is in combination with the flying squirrel power. Much more interesting than the helicopter power in the wii version.
Im watching 3 years later and this was so happy to watch. I miss the old times when I played this with my brother. We spent hours on this game. Now is 2022 we are bored out of our minds. This helped me alot, thank you.

This was a really cool run to watch. It was interesting to see how you would fly through the stages where it would have you ride something (like the coaster, green blocks in soda jungle’s fortress, etc). Major props because I can only imagine how long this must’ve taken 🙌 I mean, you managed to clear pendulum castle in one go. That stage took me a frustrating amount of tries lol. You’ve got skills!

I do have some experience with speed running. I use this tactic when I practice: When you go into the pipe that takes you to the desert’s secret level. You don’t have to go small to get under the 1-block gap, you can just run towards it then crouch, this will let you slide under the small gap. For me this saves a little near 30 seconds
You could just run fast, it would be easy as mario without any power-ups I don't think you would have to crouch underneath. And you could just run fast and hope you get lucky I guess. I can't believe you acturly responded!
I beat the one for the switch 100% story mode, five stars and its almost exactly the same you can just play as two more characters. I can't imagine beating it this fast though.
This run is great for sure. I will be learning this category on the Switch version. NSMBU DX. I haven't really ever run this game before. But I will hopefully see you on the leaderboards at some point.

You can cheese the second bowser jr. fight by dying after the last checkpoint, equipping a superstar in the overworld and getting back to the level, then just touch bowser jr in time and you beat him

hm. Yeah for a Run like All Castles, you can do that. But for 100% you need all Star Coins. And for the third coin, you need to be Mini Mario.

Even the world record holder got fucked twice on Peach's Castle-1, that makes me feel a lot better about how incredibly long it took me to clear.
