Hi Stef: Now I know where your name come from. Best to begin to teach beginners to start with a closed stance square shoulder with heavy arms and club placed squarely to the ball aimed at the target. As they get better begin to close the triangle more. Great concept. Golf camp here I come this spring with Flo Motion courtesy of the French. Merci Beaucoup. PS Hope I got what you are saying correct

What was amazing about the student is that he was a good right handed player who decided to start his Flow Motion lessons as a left handed player.

Ok, I just watched the video link... I think 🤔 we shouldn’t try to sequence the Swing. Obviously 🙄, if you let gravity operates, arms and club will fall vertically to the ground while doing the left foot/right foot. Keep it simple Thomas. I’m not sure that we need to understand why it works, but it works as a one piece “swing the weight of the club” until the Finish... Enjoy 😉 using the process and let me know when do you like a Skype call ?
      Cheers 🥂. Stef

The man that Martin was teaching wanted to test Flo Motion for himself. He is a good golfer as a right hand player . But could never play as a left handed player until now. He did this because he wanted to be on the same playing skill as his wife. Anyhow I know the rehearsal of letting the club head down on the ground on a coiled body works for me on many levels; so I will see if it helps the kids in camp this spring. Will keep watching. Cheers

Hi Stef: Here is the video link that actually shows Robin dropping the club on the ground and then tuning his arm and shoulder in a slow manner actually striking the ball. So now I make this a rehearsal move that I call ' The One Piece Downswing Rehersal' before every swing. It gives me instant muscle memory and additional information I need to know for my actual flow motion swing. It also will establishes the specific arc of my swing regardless where I am standing on the ground. For example if I am tilted too much on a slope I could never be able to bring my club back to is original position unless I were to adjust my original posture as well as the level of my shoulder angle. Hope this vid helps clarify . ruclips.net/video/8sBhxqBbYC8/видео.html. P.S. Robin does this move starting at time 9: 27 of the vid

Will also try matching the back of my lead hand with the loft of the club. Never in this world would I have thought of that. Thank you very much.

Triangulaid07 Hi Stef. By looking at Robin William showing a couple on You Tube dropping his club at the top of his swing before he turned his body and shoulder letting the club head land far from the ball and then he simply turning his shoulder as the club head returned to the ball at set up made me think of what I now coin ‘ The One Piece Downswing Rehearsal’ I do this specialized rehearsal at the top of my swing by allowing my arms and hand to unfold dropping the club on the ground wherever it lands before taking my actual Flo Motion swing. I suggested to Robin to give it a try on the golf course with each and every swing. He said he never thought about it; but liked my highly original idea. I am convinced I will be a far better golfer as I proceed this original rehearsal of mine. If you would like a better explanation of why I believe it works I will tell you. Also some day I would love to see your students doing the same rehearsal with their swing. Cheers and keep flowing in the New Years. I think you will be amazed for yourself as well. Of course in the actual swinging of the club, the club head never touches the ground until it impacts on ball. And is physically impossible to do so until then

Thomas Fraser enjoy 😉 the New Year and keep it as Flow as possible! Regarding the one piece downswing rehearsal, I need to understand it more in details. I’m not sure 🤔 to get the meaning of your words...
      Let’s stay tuned. 😉

I think I understand the idea of Flo Motion for the many players is to remove those parasitic thoughts of bad instructions from professional teachers in the past; along with the understanding that their mental negativity ( including my own negativity ) causes a variety of bad shots as we get on with our golf game. And the regimental drill seems fun of everyone as they execute a swing in the same timing and tempo as the other. But that still may not help their golf game until they can break the swing down into very simple mechanic feelings what they are actually doing to execute their own personal and effective swing.' The One Piece Downward Rehearsal' I believe actually not only supports Flo Motion's removal of parasitic thought and all the garbage that different PGA teaches their students; but, also breaks down the the perplexing sequencing question on which starts first the arms and shoulder or the feet knees and hip. The ' rehearsal will show that in the unmeasurable briefest of moment the hands arms and shoulder beats the hip. How? Drop the club head down on the ground on your coiled body and left foot off the ground. Now as you put your left foot down and turn your hip you will see you club head turn in the direction of you ball and and you will feel and see exactly where your body is at the moment of impact; continue this slow motion swing to the finished. Another words see and feel the Slow Flo Motion swing for yourself. Do this a couple of time and you will discover for yourself the mechanics; tempo and timing that becomes repeatable with every single shot. Hope I made myself clear and you begin to see the value of my concept for yourself. Thanks. At any rate this is what I will be instructing my students to do at golf camp this spring. I hope to make a vid this spring of one of my students doing this special drill of mine. Thanks for reading.

      Hi Stef,
I am in Northern Ireland. Sorry for the late reply I didn’t get any notification you had replied to my message. You will be pleased to know I have made an appointment for a lesson with Emmanuel Riblet who is about 100 miles away. I will see him in a weeks time. Hopefully he can really help with my over thinking and slicing 😬. I have watched all your videos and love the effortless swing. But mostly the fun and enjoyment you show to your students, and seeing them enjoy golf. For to long I haven’t enjoyed golf because of the constant struggle to hit the ball on the fairway. I don’t want to be Rory Mcilroy but I would like to begin to play to the potential I know I have and enjoy hitting the the ball with some sort of confidence. I love this sport for many reasons, and it tells us so much about ourselves and life. So when I see a teacher like you helping golfers in a fun constructive way it gives me hope that I don’t have to have a swing such as Rory’s to enjoy golf. Please more videos, and one on the grip. Do you still use the alignment tool?
      Thanks
      Mike
