  • Have you ever wondered why there’s such a price difference between Ferrari Dinos which from a quick glance look the same? In Episode 3 of our Ask The Insiders series, Dino Compendium author Matthias Bartz takes us beneath the surface for a deep dive into what to look out for in Enzo’s ‘baby Ferrari’. If you already own one, want to own one or just to restore one, we guarantee you’ll learn something new.

    What a beautiful look into the Dino! Carlo Bonini's joyful words were a fantastic way to end this film.

    Beautiful car, and a big shout-out to Mathias Bartz for being such an enthusiast regarding the Dino which is one of my favorite cars of all time

    Having just seen the film 'Ferrari', I am eager to learn as much as possible about the man, his family, his cars and his company. 'Kidston Productions' is therefore my go-to for relevant, informative and well crafted videos. For me, this video debunked many myths about the Dino, whilst at the same time sharing in depth factual knowledge from Matthias Bartz. The last sequence of Carlo Bonini reminiscing is a fitting conclusion. Many thanks to all concerned.

    Although I completely understand the concept of the Targa (as in the Dino or the early 911) I cannot suppress the feeling that the closed versions have much (MUCH) more beautiful lines.

    Forza Matthias! Impressed on this Dino at
    1) The mousehair originality, wow
    2) Volt Regulator in front has correct FIAT embossed case with original red sticker
    3) The 4 Plastic blank plugs for rear trunk hinge access holes are present

    It's not a Ferrari. It's a Dino, which is a spin-off brand. You won't find the Ferrari name on the title, car itself, or anywhere. The 246GT was based on an actual Ferrari now worth millions that was built in the late 60s. Calling it a Ferrari is so dishonest, but the norm among car collectors.

      You don’t know what you’re talking about. The serial number ID plates say Ferrari, the warrant says Ferrari, the manual says Ferrari. Sounds like you’ve never even seen one up close.

    • @3Storms
      @3Storms 6 месяцев назад

      @@edwardsielsky9864 It's built by Ferrari, but it's still a Dino 246GT and not a Ferrari any more than the Maseratis built in the same factories as Ferrari now are not Ferraris.

      Only 12 cylinder cars were called or badged a Ferrari. The Dino has six cylinders but is every bit a Ferrari.
