I really like the use of the Seafoam to make the bocage ‘live’ its a good technique Mim, Looking forward to use with my own builds,as a spin-off the Sea foam gave me a idea for a Orchard piece, with Seafoam for olive trees😉🤔
Thanks Gary, Seafoam for olive trees, that’s a fantastic idea mate. If you get a chance, pop some pictures on my Facebook group, I’d love to see how they turn out🙂
Another great video Chris. That bocage looks fantastic. Very talented how you can take things like scrap mdf and foam and create something so realistic.
@@PaSantos1975 Thanks so much for your kind feedback, I think I got my sea-foam trees on EBay but I also get it from Geekgaming online. Thanks for watching 😉
Coincidentally I started sorting the materials, yesterday, to make some Bocage bases but frustratingly I can't find my Seafoam trees (GRR, GRR and again GRR!). It's not something that's easy to get here in Cyprus so my store cupboard is getting emptied in the search. I hope that I can make something close to your efforts.
@@bobleitch492 Thanks for watching mate, maybe you could pick up some cheap plastic trees that you can do the same with. Best of look with your build, I’m sure they’ll look fine. 😉
The bases I’m using are some of the straight bits left over from MDF Sarissa building sprues, once you’ve pressed out the building parts there’s always bits left over, when their big enough I use the left overs as bases and just shape them to useable pieces. Thanks for watching😉

Absolutely fantastic video.👍
@@rich_john Thanks so much mate, really appreciate you’re support and encouragement😉
Looks stellar mate! Some of the very best I've seen, especially for tabletop gaming. Thanks for sharing!

Looks great. I'm going to do this but I'm going to make some the width of a Bolt action tank for when it gets flattened in a game.
@@joeg875 Thanks, nice idea, cheers for watching😉
looks good
Thanks mate🙂
Best bocage I ever saw. Congrats!!! Thank for sharing. Can you tell where you bought those trees? Thanks.

Very nice job. Where did you get the ‘horsehair’?
@@jamesk7603 Cheers mate, I tend to get it from eBay, thanks for watching😉
What type of sprue are you referring to? To me it looks like plastic card. Many thanks

@@goforitpainting Thank you😉
Very fiddly job but looks realistic. If only I could get hold of some rubberised horse hair locally. Might try with lichen instead.
@@danwade5594 Thank you, I tend to get my horse hair on eBay, I’m sure lichen would be fine too, good luck with your builds and cheers for watching 😉
