I noticed the Saturator not only looks different, but also acts different, changing the sound of existing live sets where it is used in. Another somewhat terrifying fact is that 12.1 compared to 12.0.25 uses a lot more CPU. This results, even on a powerful computer, in more hickups, ticks and stutters, where they really are not wanted.

Does anyone know how to implement an autostop function on a backing track within session view. The track will obviously stop but the counter still goes and i can still hear the click in my ears
I only have 3 autotune type plugins.. but they all allow you to play notes on your midi controller and send them. The saturator changes confused the hell out of me last night. Had no idea there was an update. Was half drunk on Grapefruit IPAs and all of a sudden my beloved saturator was completely foreign to me. Was big sad.

I think the load times comparison between Live 12 and 11 isn’t apples to apples: after the splash screen Live 11 is a bit unresponsive for a bit while it loads MAX. Live 12 loads MAX within the splash screen
@@reorderdj Yeah it might actually be that Live 12 is in total slower to load for the same project, I just was remarking on the fact you can't use the disappearance of the splash screen as the time point for when Live 11 is finished loading
Actually Ableton should bring an update on spectrum analyser,like the ones the psy artist use the RME spectrum one ,they should bring something like tht in the next update and and oscilloscope for analysis of kick and bass .....

Before I updated Ableton from 12 to 12.1, I could zoom in on a long sample anywhere using the magnifying glass tool. Now, after the update, I can't seem to do that anymore. It's making it a lot harder to chop up samples. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?
we need stems separaton, for a daw that's at the cutting edge of djing, I don't know why they don't do it. Studio one did it recently, FL Studio, Spectralayers for cubase and others ... We need it natively. Forget Serato Sample and all these ...
Something that seems no one has taught you in this world. Making videos with flashes and quick constant switching of scenes will give some of your viewer's epilepsy seizures, and it will be completely your fault. You are supposed to post a warning before the video starts, that there will be flashes and instant constant scene switching.

tbh i tried it many times and also loaded the same project several time

I'm bummed that this update killed the Maschine controller scripts in Ableton. The new features are pretty sweet though.

I alwyas just highlight the part I want to chop and push Z. That zooms in to full screen of that part.
