This is awesome, I never knew it was so laboratory like production just for plants for our hobbies! Great series mate. Now go do the ones where they breed fish to sell. :)
The lab coats!! That needs to go into a “year in review” montage for sure. I love this tank, it’s so simple yet visually interesting. Really nice. Thanks for the video.
They should also have random lab equipment scattered around; petri dishes filled with agar, test tubes, a electron microscope (or two), a centrifuge, etc, etc. to complete the vibe.
Absolutely fascinating video! I enjoyed every minute of it! I had never seen inside a lab like that before! And of course, the tank turned out absolutely stunning!
Please thank Mohamed and the lab for us. It was so cool to see how that works. I've never seen inside a lab nor how aquatic plants are propagated. Really cool! If aqua fleur was available in France I'd buy them when I do my tank
How did the plants you put on rocks do? I honestly don’t have the eye or knowledge to tell the difference between the plants. The tank looks amazing though!
Loving the white coats lads. This video shows just how much are hobby has grow, with the help of MD and FSM of course. Thank you from bringing aquascaping to the masses. All the best and merry Christmas 🎄
That was pretty darn interesting to see how they cultivate those plants. And the result, as you say, speaks for itself; they're amazing! The only downside I can see is that dreaded beast; patience 😁 But it really came out looking beautiful, and I know I for one am definitely willing to try these plants out myself as well in the future.
Wow! The end result I think is my fave tank yet. And what a cool look into the lives of the plants before they get to you. Great video. Love this tank soooo much!
Hi, could you all do up a document for us with a must of all the fish in the studio with like agresdivity and cool/ warm water listed, like an excel sheet? It would be sooooo cool to see in one one place what's in the studio and how they're socializing together 😊😊 just an idea. Love the tank
UG I've heard won't do well without CO2. Paludarium set up where😊 it has access to atmospheric CO2 it grows well. Underwater CO2 is a must. Or so I've heard. I love how it looks in a TC pot too. Broke my heart to break it up for a small project.😂. Like a grass cushion 😅
So so pretty. I like the simple scape & the Rice Fish. Have you ever thought of Threadfin Rainbows? Such a pretty small fish. I love their fins & personalities.
Please do the indoor rice fish pond :) I've just moved to Japan and set up my first tank - 65 litre with Celestial Pearl Danios but I'm dying to do something with rice fish. Absolutely love your videos (Fish Shop Matt as well!) they really inspired me to get into the hobby.
This video is quite inspiring! Where I'm from, several thousand years ago, people would build burial mounds using rocks that drifted here from Scandinavia and the Baltics with the Saalien (the ice age before the last ice age) and I think I might make something like that in a next project I'd like to do. I'm currently using that spot for a quarantine tank for the fish coming into my Juwel Rio 240 but I want to put a Superfish Scaper 70 on that cabinet. It's like Iwagumi with a twist. :)
Yes, please do a madaka rice fish container pond! Maybe two... one that stays outside your door and one inside? Or a complicated one and a very simple one?
Very refreshing "look" and an interesting section at the lab. Call me basic but I'd love a guppy themed video again sometime if you're taking requests!
So interesting to watch the process with plants. I did not know you got so many plants out of one tub - hence the price! Beautiful scape. Thanks so much for sharing😄💙
This was really interesting. I've never used tissue culture plants, and was kind of afraid to try. For some reason I thought they would be more delicate, and I didn't want to spend the money just to have them die.
Wow, that's amazing! No wonder those plants are so expensive, it costs a LOT to maintain a sterile environment like that. And Mohammed was so good at that outro! What a professional! 😄
Did the moss you glued to the rocks die? i was excited to see what it looked like, if it did die would it be because of the high co2 levels since you mentioned it was a carnivorous species and those kinds of plants react differently when it comes to photosynthesis. (Edit: co2 levels are fine my original assumption is incorrect) EDIT: after further research I have discovered that for this particular species of moss utricularia graminifolia the best way to establish it in a tank is to use the dry method which consist of starting the moss in a dry aquarium with extremely high humidity and low nutrients since it is carnivorous obviously. think of it like taking care of any other carnivorous plant, for example the more commonly known Venus fly trap (Dionaea muscipula for the nerds) if the plant has access to a lot of nutrients that it simply cannot tolerate it will develop mineral poisoning and the plant will eventually die. The good news us that Utricularia graminifolia does now die but will remain as algae on the rocks so there is a chance that if given the proper environment the moss can come back.
Ah I you reminded me about him saying that, so now I'm wondering why he didn't put it in an older established tank? He said his tanks have micro fauna 🤔🤔

@@samasonedderman Its full name is Utricularia Graminifolia, commonly called UG because holy heck who can remember that.
Ya'll should DEFINATELY do an indoor ricefish pond! I'd love to see how you'd scape that.
yes!
I for one think the lab coats should be worn in the fish room at all times going forward. Very dapper gents.
