Thank you for this video! I purchased the Cameo 4Plus a year ago, and have been so intimidated by this machine. I was afraid that something was wrong with it, with the amount of noise it makes. Whew you eased that for me. You have been such a Blessing to those of us that are trying to enhance our crafting skills
I'm still waiting for my Silhouette to arrive so I've been using the time to watch these videos. I love that Silhouette has a test button to try your cut out first before risking the loss of material in a bad cut. I can't wait to try this out! Thank you for the video! I can't wait to try doing it along with you.
I like them both, I was going to get me Cameo Plus but were sold out. I bought myself the cameo 4 first project was last night. I had a difficult time trying to understand what I was doing. Love your videos they have helped me so much. Thank you!

I just got the cameo 4 plus and I love it. The 15" cut ability is Awesome. Now they are coming out with a 24" in early 2021. ugh my office is going to be croweded.
What I like about the cameo plus is doing 3XL-5XL Shirts / Sweatshirts. The size to cut is available. On a cricut you have to slice and dice. The only thing that annoys me is the sound. I will be getting the cameo plus. Currently I have the Cricut Explore Air 2

Afternoon from England. Very interesting. Great to see the different sizes T looks great. How much wS yiue T Shirt Press? Regards from England. How many times could you. use the Printout for on T Shirts etc. Being a Mum and having so mant T shirts in our House i.would like to see how well they wash in the Washing machine. Have washed tons of T shirts for years.
In my opinion, your good if t-shirts are your main design. I worked in a heat press design shop once and the overall full chest/back is 11x11. For me, I’d like bigger because my initial reason for purchasing a die cutting machine was to create wall art for my home. So for this reason, I plan to upgrade from my Cameo 3 to the Cameo 4 Plus.
Is there any other difference beside the size? Like available accessories or technical data? For my needs the size of the cameo 4 is enough I think, but if there are other features only present in the plus version I would think about it.
It’s the craft pro. You don’t want this one. I made a video on why i didn’t like it. I don’t even use this heatpress anymore. I didn’t an unboxing today or my new go to 15x15 press. The video will be live tomorrow. It’s the 15x15 wala presss from heat transfer warehouse. It has the slide out drawer we all like but it doesn’t have any of the issues the other press had. If you wanna check it out now use my heat transfer warehouse link in the description of this video and navigate the the wala press w slide out drawer. It’s half the price of the one in this video. $389.00 can’t beat that with a slide out drawer. Best price on the internet.
Awesome comparison. Very detailed. I just adore your channels. I appreciate you answering my software question also. I am going with the business version for my 4 Plus. Also, did you order more mats yet?
great vid bro, now there is the cameo 4 pro at a crazy 24 inch ( what ) but I just have the small portrait that is great for small jobs, you have convinced me the cameo 4 plus is the way. Thank you :)

Thanks for sharing. I purchased a cameo 4 plus… it’ll be here Friday. After having a Cricut Explorer air 2, I was tired of being limited with the print and cut. I can’t wait to use the Cameo 😀
Can you please do an example with some leather varying in thickness?!! I'm wanting to buy the Cameo 4 Pro but unsure how it cuts leather with their new Kraft blade
I am a newbie to Cameo. I have the Cameo 4 plus and Studio Business Edition. I was able to open my file into studio and place it on the work page successfully. I have spent hours watching videos and combing through the manual. I've successfully set up the machine and updated the firmware plus I have been able to connect blue tooth and as hard wired. However, I am soooooo frustrated because I made this purchase to specifically do Rhinestone work. I chose Rock-It Rhinestone Flock Material and have tried numerous times to test cut. Nothing has worked either with or without the mat. Have you tried this flock and have you tried it in your Cameo 4 plus
@@adubbproductions yes and I've tried those as well. I believe something is wrong with either the machine or the blade. I tried to cut regular Chardstock just now and it would not even cut. So the machine has gone from cutting through the material. Barely cutting through to not cutting at all. The red line on the auto blade keeps resetting to 0
Is the only difference between the 2 the cut size? I am looking to purchase and I am trying to decide. Althought it looks like the plus is sold out in most places.
You did it. Bought the both 4's. Good for you. I plan on buying the Portrait 3. It has Bluetooth and the same cutting size as the Cameo 4. It is slower, but so am I. Have you considered using transfer paper to cut around your lettering to avoid the big square marks on your shirts? Or does it just wash away?
Great information and I do appreciate it. Other RUclipsRS never done as much as you did. I will say this about the cameo 4 plus is the size of vinyl you use. It's based on supply and demand of the sizes of vinyl you ARE using. Also, I didn't know you have to upgrade the firmware/software to use the cameo 4 plus. For what I have seen from other RUclipsRS, they never said to upgrade the firmware/software.
Yes. I thought that was important to include because when I went to go use mine there was not option for the cameo 4 plus. When I updated the firmware I saw the cameo 4 plus option. That’s important information. I thought something was wrong. Lol
Yea I dont think I'll ever print that wide for a shirt. But I did buy the plus myself but i was co.ing from cricut. And if I need to cut bigger had to go bigger then o already had.and business is for sure the way to go.
How did you get the firmware update to actually work? I had bought a Cameo 4, and it wouldn't update on my MacBook Pro. So I returned it and bought a Cricut. It doesn't require that firmware update.
@Chery M Firmware updates are a good thing. Things get improved and rolled out to customers so they have the most updated tools. I see it as good customer support!
Looking to purchase my first cameo. I’m trying to decide between the 4 plus and the 4. I am currently doing large wall hangings and will also use off and on for t shirts and car decals. Would it be worth the additional $100 to go with the plus? The largest design I currently do for the wall hanging is 26 inches at the smallest measurement. So either machine will require me to split the designs. Also is there an advantage to the 15 inch rolls as far as pricing/waste ratio? It is very tempting with all the cameo 4 bundles to just go with the 12 inch and save the extra money . That and the availability in all the big box stores of the 12 inch roles is also a factor I’m considering. What are you thoughts based on my specific needs ? Thanks
Hi i have a question for you to see if you can help me. I have a cameo 4 for 3 month now and I try everything for the registrations mark problem I send and email to silhouette studio youtube videos everything I have yhe burst experience with this machine I decided to sale it. What other machine do you recommend the donthe same job's. Thank you hope you can help me.
Unfortunately I can’t recommend any other machines because i use this one and don’t have any other one. You can try the cricut maker machine but i can’t tell you anything about it because I don’t have it. I don’t know if it does the contour cuts like the cameo. Hi love your channel my question is when you go to the site to do your firm upgrade it only shows cameo 4 but not the 4 plus can I use the 4 or am I doing something wrong
Dean Melland No your upgrading the firmware on the silhouette studio software not on the actual Cameo machine. Look for the software fir the design program not the machine.
No. Never used it. I didn’t like the idea of the software being tied to their website and you not being able to design without internet access. I like to move around a lot so that wouldn’t work for me.
As long as it works for you honestly it doesn’t matter what you use. They all cut vinyl. If your ever gonna buy a new machine make sure you use my link in the description. Thanks in advance.
I don’t look for cheap shirts because you get what you pay for. People feel a cheap shirt then you can only ask for so much therefore making less money. You can check the prices at jiffy shirts and alphabroder to see if they are in your price range. I would recommend buying a sample pack of a variety of inexpensive shirts to see what they feel like because you might not like the quality yourself.
No, regular vinyl typically has a transparent glossy carrier film. Decal vinyl or sign vinyl has a white or cream colored backing. One is for shirts and other items we wear the other is for windows doors and other none wearable items.
All cameos accept vinyl that size (11.7x16 and a half) size but but you have to cut without the cutting Matt to get the length. I have never heard of a company listing vinyl as size A3. What company did that? That is super weird to me.
@@adubbproductions Hi! Thanks for answering. But the question was about the heat tranfer paper)) I'm planning to use A3 format and looking for the cutting machine which is accept A3. And the 2nd question is - do I have to buy a special programm to cut my own designs on a heattranfer paper or the Cameo scan and cut it by its own? Thank you!
I think it’s a great buy. Either the cameo plus or the Sisser Romeo Pro. Make sure you use my heat transfer warehouse link in the description when you get it. Thanks in advance.
@adubbproductions thanks u so so much but I am in the uk that the only thing I am trying to do a tshirt business but I make a bit mistake and buy by buying the graphictec cutter after I saw ur post it's a problem for me it's difficult .things you recommend to buy . i try them because I look up to u a lot so I wasted 400 pounds just need to save to get a next one

I have a cameo 3 and it's so noisy I don't know why silhouette machines are so noisy I wish they would make them quieter not sure if I'm going to get another one though but I watch the videos
I had problems with cameo 4 plus , after about 3 times of cutting each. My cameo 4 plus cut off and wouldnt power back on again on two seperate brand new machines from heat press nation . has anyone had that happen? heat press nation said that's uncommon for that to happen , but it did and I don't know if maybe transportation to where I live was too much for the machines to bare or the machines . I'm at a loss of what kind of cutter i'll need to buy now , because didn't have each cameo 4 plus a week and a half before they blew out . did anyone have a problem with cameo 4 plus?
Hello, nice channel. Please confirm. @MrOrangemind46 question. When you say 24 inches for the length of material the machine can cut are you only referencing the use of a mat, because I thought that if for instance a roll of material is used the cut could then be longer than the 24 inches.
Its definitely your cut settings or some other minor issue. Follow along with one of my videos and adjust your cut settings to what I have mine on a use a similar material. You will figure it out. I had issues when I first started as well.
Just have it huh? You don’t wanna work for it or offer any service or nothing. I should just give it to you after I worked my butt off for everything I got right. I shouldn’t give it away on my terms or keep things that I worked for I should juts give them away right?
quick question "so I would pretty much have to upgrade to (business addition) which is around $200 if I wanted to add the cameo 4 plus correct? bcs I currently have the cameo 4 and running it on the basic edition software and was considering adding a cameo 4 . thanks !
True indeed. If you have the customer base you can’t go wrong with a regular cameo 4. Just like you said. I can voucher for that. The crazy part is on my end the simplest designs sell the most.

Silhouette Cameo 4 plus was my first cutter did a great job for about two months, then it quit cutting because the blade holder on these is cheaply made. The wifi connections are crap. The cricket is a better-made machine. The software is way better for the Silhouette. Not just a little better, way better. Thank you!
I prefer the cameo 4 plus, looks alot better 😀
Yes. So do I. Bigger is better.
Hey, what are your computer specs?
What printer is best for small details?
I bought cameo 4 3 weeks ago and we can't cut well, frustrated
Ive had mine for a month, maybe you should adjust the force settings
I am also thinking about getting a cameo 4 plus what do u think
I think it’s a great buy. Either the cameo plus or the Sisser Romeo Pro. Make sure you use my heat transfer warehouse link in the description when you get it. Thanks in advance.
@adubbproductions thanks u so so much but I am in the uk that the only thing I am trying to do a tshirt business but I make a bit mistake and buy by buying the graphictec cutter after I saw ur post it's a problem for me it's difficult .things you recommend to buy . i try them because I look up to u a lot so I wasted 400 pounds just need to save to get a next one
Just got the plus using your link of course. I'm getting bigger and better at my craft. Just starting using the sawgrass sg500 I got last time using your link and your videos saved me tons of trial and error thank you!
Great. Get to your money faster. Thanks for using the link I appreciate it and i appreciate you Charles. 🙏🏾
If u ask a woman , does size matters? She would say No , performance does, so is the case with cameo 4 and cameo 4 plus and 4 pro
What are your thoughts on having the plus and pro?
Did a video comparing the three. Check it out. ruclips.net/video/gOIrwlf-p5I/видео.html
I saw it after the fact. I have the pro thinking of getting the plus too. If I can find it
I have a cameo 3 and it's so noisy I don't know why silhouette machines are so noisy I wish they would make them quieter not sure if I'm going to get another one though but I watch the videos
FYI: CAMEO PRO 24" IS NOT AVAILABLE NOT THE 20" CAMEO PRO. CHECK IT OUT. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE REVIEW.
And how did u made that design
And about the design
I had problems with cameo 4 plus , after about 3 times of cutting each. My cameo 4 plus cut off and wouldnt power back on again on two seperate brand new machines from heat press nation . has anyone had that happen? heat press nation said that's uncommon for that to happen , but it did and I don't know if maybe transportation to where I live was too much for the machines to bare or the machines . I'm at a loss of what kind of cutter i'll need to buy now , because didn't have each cameo 4 plus a week and a half before they blew out . did anyone have a problem with cameo 4 plus?
Does the cameo 4 can cut without a mat??
Yes it does.
How long the machine can cut?
15 inches.
Hello, nice channel. Please confirm. @MrOrangemind46 question. When you say 24 inches for the length of material the machine can cut are you only referencing the use of a mat, because I thought that if for instance a roll of material is used the cut could then be longer than the 24 inches.
@@vspartner @mrorangemind46 I just edited what I responded. The cameo plus cuts 15” by 60 feet. I must have been tired that day or something.
We got cameo 4 and it won't cut perfectly
Its definitely your cut settings or some other minor issue. Follow along with one of my videos and adjust your cut settings to what I have mine on a use a similar material. You will figure it out. I had issues when I first started as well.
@@adubbproductions tnx man. You're the best 👌
Popoy Sapwet no problem
@@adubbproductions cameo 4 cant be beat.
I have to get the Plus cause one thing I am experiencing is young guys like bigger designs...
can i have any of your old cameos?? :( cant afford some..
Just have it huh? You don’t wanna work for it or offer any service or nothing. I should just give it to you after I worked my butt off for everything I got right. I shouldn’t give it away on my terms or keep things that I worked for I should juts give them away right?
quick question "so I would pretty much have to upgrade to (business addition) which is around $200 if I wanted to add the cameo 4 plus correct? bcs I currently have the cameo 4 and running it on the basic edition software and was considering adding a cameo 4 . thanks !
No. You don’t think you need business edition to use the cameo 4 plus.
Bro ... Do you have cool designs for cameo you wanna share with us?
The Reg. Cameo 4 is fine. It has made me so much money I don't know what to do with it...
True indeed. If you have the customer base you can’t go wrong with a regular cameo 4. Just like you said. I can voucher for that. The crazy part is on my end the simplest designs sell the most.
@@adubbproductions I have bought 10 Cameo 4s and 10 Cameo plus for my businesses and they both are great. I was having a big problems with Cricut Vinyl cutting machines just my experience.
@@Deebo99 wow. 10 oh your cutting some serious vinyl over there. All I can think about is all that weeding. 😂😂. If that what is takes to knock those orders out then it is what it is.
@@adubbproductions A-Dubb I have all my employees watch your videos as a tutorial video. You’re doing great with these YT videos. We also watch Reyes channel. Over at RTE Shirts decals and more.
@@Deebo99 Wow. That is awesome. 😲😀 thank you. I really appreciate that. That made my morning.
Nice Video.
Love From India❤️
Dear please make video on printer paper drawing cutting with Camio 4.
Image cut inner side and outer side.
Plzzzzz
The plus looks bettet
❤️
Are you printing a design or cutting a design?? Printing is the same because it's ALL the same Silhouette Studio Printing capabilities.
They both look great but the cameo 4 plus is alot better
wow what makes it better??
i like the shiny one better
4plus all the way
😩I have all of the Cricuts and now this 🤦🏽♀️🚶🏽♀️to micheals app I go
Which is better, Cricut Maker or Cameo 4?
Not sure I can deal with that loudness
Cameon 4
The 24 in out now
Silhouette Cameo 4 plus was my first cutter did a great job for about two months, then it quit cutting because the blade holder on these is cheaply made. The wifi connections are crap. The cricket is a better-made machine. The software is way better for the Silhouette. Not just a little better, way better. And buy the business edition, you can create stuff, then save it and open it and cut it with your cricket. Go to a store that has both and compare them before you buy your cricket, but that is the one you will buy.
Plusss
Poor choice of colors to give us a comparison to choose from
Well you are free to chose what ever colors you’d like in your video. Oh, wait, you don’t have one. Oh, your just here to be negative and complain while missing the entire point of the video. Ok. Got it. Thanks for watching don’t forget to hit the like button. Or the dislike button. 👍🏾
