@@Pine2142 Think the lazy answer is just that with the advent of american cinema and the internet the entire english speaking world has gotten progressively more americanized similar to how that "american accent" is just stereotypical hollywood accent that is eating up america's identity. So one could argue that in a world where conflict has united a lot of nations and reshaped society on the whole, globalization would occur and the culture that originally set folks apart would be less obvious.
