You never hear this on the news. That was the the scariest thing I've ever saw. And it's happened to 2 piolets. I thank God they both were safe. I'd definitely would sue whom ever was responsible for the malfunction of the wind screen. Wrong size bolts, there is no excuse for this to have happened. Poor piolets and crew, what they went through was life changing and scarred for life. Worth a lot of compensation from someone!!!!!!
@@pinegaming8617 wait a second if the crew wasn't there and I was there I would be burst out laughing just imagine a person flying out of the plane and then 150 people XD

And at 3:40 at the video the people who were keeping him alive, didn’t bring him back in the cockpit. They waited until the copilot finish the plane in Southampton. After that they were all crying and then heard an applause. The three people who had save the captains life, and calming down the passengers, were awarded the big hero
I learn more about everything in less then 10 minutes but can't grasp anything in a 16 hour flight class btw I'm learning to become a pilot and this vid made be scared that this might happen to me so pls wish me the best of luck
Nigel Ogden assumes the Captain was dead. He asked the other pilot”shall I let him go?” Atchisen said “no”, not because he considered the Captain still alive, but was fearful he would be ingested into the number one engine and shut it down. The first officer was highly commended for his actions.
I was super sad when you said he passed out due to huge oxygen but thanks Achison for saving Lancaster. You made it possible for the hospital to save Lancaster.
I've seen this,it was British Airways 5390 and the pilots window flew out, sending him through the space, his feet were caught on the controls, sending it into a nosedive, while all the staff were trying to pull him in,the co-pilot had to land it by himself,my guy should have gotten a raise
The title says that the Captain (pilot) is pulled out. But on the thumbnail, it shows a picture of the First Officer (co-pilot) getting pulled put and the Captain casually flying the plane in his seat.
I remember watching a plane fly over our house in Southampton with the pilot hanging out of the cockpit window,it was a flight from the channel Islands to Southampton
I think I’ve already seen this in the National Geographic I think or is it a Discovery Channel? It was in the TV and I was surprised what really happened. I think I’ve already watched this about 3 or 2 years.
I believe Nigel Odgen himself appeared on the episode of Mayday Air Disaster that was made about this incident. For those who aren't familiar with Mayday: Air Disaster, its a Canadian documentary series that focuses on disasters from the past
In first situation real heroes was the co pilot and the crew members who managed to save life of the captain !! And in other situation captain manage to do a successive emergency landing !!! Thanks to there experiences !!
Closest thing I’ve been to. To a disaster on a plane was this. I was on a Singapore A380 flying to Singapore back when I was 9. And it was very bad conditions from what I recall it was a typhoon but I find that hard to believe. But I remember how rough the landing was. It felt like landing in a light aircraft in rough conditions.
It is based on a movie I sawn was named Captain. I loved that movie. I love your channel too. I really have dreamed to become a Pilot. So I watch more videos of aviation on your channel

You missed out something very important. The flight crew was thinking of releasing his body, but lucky the first officer stopped that form happening as he knew his body might get stuck in the left engine
Hey there BrightSiders, what was the most dangerous situation you’ve ever found yourself in?
My mom found out Im still awake at 3:00
Falling down from Train
Upside-down in my car in the middle of a country road, at 1 am. Seat belted in. Luckily no injuries, I got out by myself.
