All these balancing videos would be so much more productive if they filmed them from the USERS perspective. Switching up the angles is so confusing.

I had the Zhiyun Smooth 5. Gave it back after 2 days. This is infinitely better. The OLED screen alone is worth the upgrade. Very please with this gimbal.
Why did you return the Smooth 5?
I used Smooth 5 for several months and I also had powervisiton s1 and recently bought and resold dji osmo 6, when I found this Isteady M6. just got it today.
Dji Om6 is flimsy at best. It does not cope with the weight and dimensions of the iPhone 14 pro max. Best left at home on windy days.
I already ordered this one and I'm excited to unbox and use it for my personal vlog.

Does a TRRS cable, offset from centre (for wireless mics) get in the way of the gimbal?
My husband got one for me because I love taking videos and photos.. I have no any idea on how to use it.This video is very helpful for me to learn. though I’m still confuse with lots of buttons.. I hope I will get use to it

I just got one. Can't understand the motion that temporarily rotates it to portrait mode. I keep accidentally doing it, and don't know to get it back.... I just rotate and roll my wrist around until it flips back to landscape..... but I know there's a specific movement ... any diagrams or video's that demo this feature?
For vertical shooting with iPhone 13 Pro Max and DJI Mic 2 receiver is there enough clearance or it is better to go with Hohem MT2? Thanks
I bought 06 iSteady M6 precisely because of the AI sensor light for my company's content creators and to my surprise it didn't come in any. In the User Manual V1.0 (page 01) this sensor is listed in the “List of product items”. On page 02 “Get to know the iSteady M6”, item 1, it says: Fill light with AI vision sensor *sold separately. I thought it was a big mistake for the brand to do this. It advertises something and doesn't deliver exactly what it uses to attract. We will test the product because although there are many reviews, I haven't seen many videos where it was used.

If we use a Bluetooth lapel mic , it transmits wirelessly to a receiver that plugs in to the Lightning port,.. But seems like that input is blocked this by gimbal , when in horizontal mode , then how is it possible to use the Bluetooth sound system if the lightning port is blocked?

I would like to know if it has an international guarantee. I am from Colombia South America and I plan to buy it in another country. If I need a guarantee, what solution do you offer me? I had a gimbal from another brand, the Smooth 5, and the customer service experience has been the worst of my life to the point that I lost my money. I would not want to go through the same thing buying this M6.
This is a great gimbal but u guys really need to revise it with a usb through port where the iphone 15 pro's usb c port seats against the arm of the gimbal to a port prehaps on the handle somewhere to allow users to connect an external storage device to use the 15 pro's pro res recording feature.

Wont stay unlocked!!!I'm on my second m6 in a week span with the same issue!! They have an issue with the lock button, it will not stay in the unlocked position. Once it rotates a full 360 it automatically locks back. Any suggestions?

One frustrating problem I'm having is when I recalibrate it, it pushes the camera backwards (the button end goes in front of the phone and blocks it in selfie mode)

Love my M6 gimbal but when using Iphone 13 with the hohem joy app, when downloading videos after shooting clips the videos are not in order of how i shot it which its very frustrating as its like a jigsaw puzzle to get the videos back in the right order for edit, does anyone else have this problem, is it the app or the iphone.
Ai vision sensor works about one out of every twenty times. What gives? Have rebooted, tried with various apps. Will be sending back tomorrow if this is as good as it gets.
Do you mean the AI vision sensor is too slow to keep up? I just tried it out and it appears to turn off every few seconds when I move too fast from left to right. Just using my Upper Body, lol
@@THome92 I think my copy must have been faulty. I returned it and the replacement is perfect: the response of the ai sensor is almost instant and very accurate. This suggests that there may be some quality control issues. If yours is causing issues, I’d suggest returning it and looking for a replacement. I’m now very happy with mine (and, to be fair, the gimbal is excellent even without the Ai feature)
Will I have to buy a seperate cable for my iPhone?
I used the cable that came with my iPhone SE (usb-c to lightning). It works great.

mine is just arrived today why is keep saying overheating ?
I got mine today - charged it then unlocked it at 2 places. Balanced phone etc,but when I start using it, it says after about 2 minutes Overload and then switch off - I used the Mohem Joy app. What do I do wrong? The sivel where you balance it gets very warm
Hey, according to your description, it may because of not balanced. Not balancing will make it heat and then power off to enter into protection mode itself. please provide more details such as a video and then contact our service : service@hohem-tech.com

Yes. It’s still a good gimbal even without the tracker. And this is the only gimbal with full 360° rotation.

When I unlock pan motor and if I free hang it by holding the arm, handle spins (very fast). Is it normal?
I wouldn’t advise to do this, it will ruin the motor. Turn off if holding by the arm.

You use your phone and turn on your phone’s Bluetooth so the M6 pairs with your phone.

I just got this to review and the pan motor won't stay unlock as soon as it goes to start position it locks again :-( I am getting error 3, getting overheating warning after like only 2 minutes of trying to figure it out. I have it balanced best I can but my phone (s20fe) with case doesn't really fit in the holder and with the AI light thing it won't stay balanced in one way. this sounds nice but so far not working well for me. :-(
Hey, overheating is because of not balancing. Please adjust it and try again.
@@HohemTechOfficial seems the rotating part won't stay unlocked, it keeps locking in the starting position, I read this is a common problem. I can't use it, it is broken right out of the box

How do you track an object(not humans) using the AI sensor?
If you want to track an object, you can use the [ object tracking ] in the Hohem Joy App. You know, the Ai tracking needs the OK sign gesture to activate 😂

Not sure what's funny, I work with computer vision and the amazing AI tracker you guys have built would have been unthinkable few years back so maybe try pushing the boundaries a little bit. If phone camera apps can identify objects to focus on I am sure your engineers will be able to find a way to innovate and still save their hair 😊

Hi. I have one specific problem, so I am interested if anyone else has noticed it. I have S23 Ultra and the noise the gimbal produces is picked up with mobile when mounted on gimbal. It almost sounds like Geiger meter and is very annoying. You might not notice it when recording in noisy areas, but when recording in a silent environment, it's sometimes unusuable. Is it normal for gimbal to produce such noise? Thanks

Nice demonstration and piece of hardware. The features are what I'm looking for to replace my Smooth4, but lacks extendable selfie stick (only because it is better and confortable to film in "directors mode", and keep the front camera well positioned when I shot a bit far from usual (my smooth 4 can't do that)). OM6 almost get there but I don't want to replace a gimbal with motor limitatios for another with the same issue. I guess I'll have to wait untill your next version if this will be added.
Hey dear. Different gimbals are designed to meet different shooting needs. If you want portable and compact and foldable gimbal, you can choose our iSteady X2, or V2. As you can see in the gimbal market, the more professional gimbal, the bigger it is. We have to compromise something to the biggest need we want while choosing a favorite gimbal~
@@HohemTechOfficial I understand, but in the next version. If it is too much to redesign to meet the current result (which is awesome) + a bit longer with selfie. Keep it the same and add a connector in the bottom where we can attach extendable stick with the trigger function at the bottom. Then we have both worlds in the same product and you have an extra accessory to sell together with it.

It has lot of problems with it.
* Only one star for that gimbal. I have Iphone 15 pro max ,listen my trouble I had. 1. Impossible to connect ssd externe if you want to rec prores apple 4K 60 fps. 2. The follow people is verry bad quality if you compare insta 360 Flow. 3. If you want to connect the gimbal in your Iphone 15 pro max for recharge is impossible, you recive message less courant from the gimbal. 4. The price is to expansible.

After viewing the videos from you and other RUclipsrs literally exalting HOHEM iSteady M6, I decided to go purchase one for my business needs. I bought it from your Hohem Official Store. However, when I first used it, I was SHOCKED and DISAPPOINTED to see that the motors make such an annoying non-stop like boiling water sound, that it covers the actual sound of the scene. I immediately sent them a feedback along with videos showing this severe issue that makes it LITERALLY UNUSABLE!!! Hohem Official Store representative asked me not to file a complaint and dispute and hiding the truth to me, they suggested after a one week conversation to send me a replacement for free covering the delivery costs!!! It was vain to argue more asking them to send me a new one without any more costs on me, so I paid the extra delivery costs AGAIN... I JUST received the new one...Guess what....THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM INSISTS and of course they all knew it was there!!! Starting from the official store representative till you and all other SPONSORED RUclipsrs who like to mislead your audience! This is unacceptable and you all should be ashamed... I challenge you to post a video where you use the video recording in a quiet room using this crappy gimbal leaving the sound unedited!!! After using the OM6 magnetic clamp I can never go back to “clamps”. At some point you will drop your phone while opening the “clamps”. Somebody said they were going to call it Ho hum but changed it to Ho hem. Unbelievable blocking of the lightning port ???? For a microphone
