While a few of the components are made in other countries, the majority of them are still made right here in Illinois, instead of Palatine, it is at a facility in Huntley now, a building almost 3 football fields long. Even still, we contract some work out to other companies in Chicagoland, putting American people to work. At the end of the video, when they show the distribution center, I believe that is what became the new factory. A lot of processes shown in this video are still done on new models, but are done by hand again rather than robots. How do I know? I work at the factory on the lines, doing some tasks. I drive 30 minutes to "China", spend 10 hours there, then drive aaaaalll the way back home...

A shame they don't do this anymore. The Genesis II's are made in china now and are significantly lower quality with a higher sale price.
