It's always fun to see what kind of hardcoded nonsense game devs use for stuff that's only supposed to be used in highly controlled scenarios.
Very entertaining. It’s actually possible to drop normally if you stand on a high ledge and drop it. The reason it gets added back is because it tractors back into Link instantly if resting on the ground, but this won’t happen while in midair. One other thing is that using prompt entanglement you should be able to break it now by x holding and dropping 11 or more. The original one will get overridden by the other 10 dropped clones and they all detonate in a loud explosion when you exit the menu.

I love the fact that breath of the wild is one of the most broken zelda games and one of the most popular even after 5-6 years, and for some reason that’s what makes this game one of the funnest games I have ever played. Honestly some of the games glitches are basically features

It's not even close to the most broken. The game is a lot more stable and has to be actively glitched
I wish the sequel will be like this. I worry they might fuss over ironing out the engine, if I were developing it I’d look for hitches like these and say, “whatever, the only thing holding this bow glitch back is firing frogs”, and add the exploit to fire frogs.
@@jstar3382 yeah the thing about BOTW is all the glitches are so complicated and weird you won't accidentally do them, you can easily play and not break the game by mistake

You know, realistically, firing a bow without having an arrow nocked should actually reduce the bow's durability MORE than successfully firing an arrow.
The average lifetime of a virtual particle is about 10^(-20) seconds (if I remember correctly, didn't have it in college yet). Therefore the bow of light broke a relatively long time

Yes I am well aware of this method. It is not entertaining which is why I did not cover it.
This is not a tutorial on how to delete the Bow of Light, I do not do tutorials. I've tried those, and they are boring to make. I do things as impractically as possible or impractical challenges(like spending 50~ hours pushing NPCs to get a screenshot with all the Champions together or solving shrines as far from the "intended" solution as possible).
Ridiculous is what I do. And burning a bow is not Ridiculous. But going out of my way to damage a weapon by spoofing an amiibo?...

I saw some used ones for $40ish, but had to go with the "Mint condition still in box neven been touched by natural sunlinght over priced" one for the bit. I'm sure someone out there would pay that... But not me lol

Nope he didn't spend 5 days trying to get it. He simply reloaded the save file before he summoned the amiibo a bunch of times. Alternatively could just save, close game and advance time on your switch a day 5 times. Definitely faster ways than what you thought.
Since the game adds 1 durability, what happens if you pick up a weapon as soon as it breaks if possible? Could that be another way to dupe? Or cause other chaos?

Maybe if you are able to save while the bow is broken you can completely delete it
It's possible to delete it, that's been known for a while. But that method is not entertaining, which is why I did not bother with it and instead aimed to visually break it in the most impractical way. Because you know I don't enjoy doing anything practically.

I've successfully broken a bow of light before, I think the trick is to have another one so that Link still has a bow of light in his inventory when the first one breaks, making the game not give it back since you already have one.
Can someone explain how he has full Hartsville stamina and 78 spare spirit orbs is he modding I’m just curious
I used eventide storage to spend the first 4 spirit orbs to get the first heart(and keep my 4 orbs). Then used apparatus glitch/Hateno statue glitch to dupe the orbs you give to it. End result being obtaining full hearts, stamina(I think have like 40 orbs in the statue still too. Brain was on autopilot while I duped and duplicated too many) and as a bonus, I have all of the spirit orbs obtained from shrines on this file still.

Honestly, I hate games that have weapons that break. I get that it's often a way to keep a balance or whatever, but it's honestly not very fun for me to have a super cool weapon that I can use 20 times before it just breaks. Breath of the wild is a great game, but I do hate that part of the game. Even things that have been indestructible in the lore break, and even the master sword will stop functioning for a while. And some lynels can withstand pretty much the entire charge of even a fully upgraded master sword and then several other weapons before dying. It's crazy

I have the Zelda Amiibo and I could not be bothered to try getting the twilight bow. It’s drop rate is about 1/30 or so but I’ve never gotten it. I kinda gave up.
I got around the rarity of the drop by save spamming. Also, if I remember right, it won't even drop if you haven't freed any Divine Beasts, and the odds of it dropping increases for every Divine Beast you free.

It actually aged remarkably well.
Overload you inventory then the last bow you use to overload has to be wood so then once it’s overloaded equip it and go to a fire and it’ll burn the bow
I tried to get the twilight bow but still didn’t get it after 137 tries
50 durability bow + 2 arrows = 49 durability
That it would be 48
Or it takes two arrows to lower durability
@@vipsnap2707 yes but why not say it has 200 durability and take one arrow because if it takes two then that means that it does 0.5 damage to the bow but by multiplying both numbers by two we can divide the amount of arrows we need by two and get 100 durability and one arrow to damage it

There are various glitches that allow you to leave the Ganon fight and keep the bow.

Not with current glitches. It's something coded into the OKHO and BoL that tells it to not remove durability vs having infinite durability. We can corrupt weapon modifiers to have 10 shot bows and overpowered weapons so its only a matter of time until something is discovered to make weapons not remove durability.

I think it's dumb that firing a bow without an arrow doesn't reduce the durability. In fact, I think there should be extra durability taken off for attempting to dry-fire a bow, as bows can literally explode in your face if you dry fire them in real life.

The amiibos just have an NFC tag in them that the controller reads. Those have been spoofed to hell and back at this point. Basically putting the same data that is in the amiibo NFC tag onto an NFC sticker/card/tag and scanning. After spoofing the Zelda Amiibo I just wrote "Zelda" on it for the bit.
