The layering in this song is nuts. If you listen again, listen to the background. There's something like 7 vocal layers, multiple percussion layers, a steel drum, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the song has over 50 layers total.

I would guess that there's probably some editing to exaggerate her movements but I'd wager most of that jerky movement is her. In the Fingers live video she does it there too, so pretty sure knows how to pop lock (not as exaggerated as it is here but definitely not a product of editing in the live.) Popping and locking is dance that uses quick muscle contraction to make sharp and jerky movements (that's not a great explainstion but I'm a casual observer, not a dancer lol.) It would probably be more recognizable if she was doing it full body and not just waist up. I love that it makes her Fingers live performance feel more unhinged.

Dec 1996. Makes her 27. Six yrs younger than Ren he is 33 yrs old. I have my oldest daughter at 32 yrs and my youngest at 24. My oldest is 34 weeks pregnant with twin girls. They just found out they are identical. She has a two yr old boy as well. Better her than me because that is going to be insane. She and hubby live like 12 hrs away by car, so that sucks.
Twins!! While that's super cool...I can't imagine the extra work!! I had my first when I was 24, and she's turning 24 in a couple of weeks! I had my last at 39... they were both "happy surprises" 😉 No grandkids on the horizon for me and I'm ok with that😆

Her husband is in the Air Force starting his ninth year. They were stationed in New Jersey but I just flew there from MI to help them pack up for 2 years in Spain 😭😭
She doesn't make all of her own costumes. There's an interview where she talks about a designer who made her costume for her Fingers Live bideo and how they'd become her favourite designer since then. She may make some but I don't know. I have no further info on the matter. Always best to take info given out in comments sections, with a large pinch of salt and double-check it, if you're going to use it. Social media often acts as a massively extended game of Chinese Whispers/Telephone. :)
Yes, I've gotten a few of those over the last couple of years... info that proved to be incorrect. Lol! I think after this, I ended up finding out that she makes the hats, but not her costumes.
Oh I just seen this one. Ive been busy with family in town. Iove all of her stuff. Her confidence is amazing. My latest of hers Ive had on repeat is TRIGGER. HOPE YALL ARE DOING GREAT ❤😊
